I was initially notified by the *********** that they had noticed a slight increase in my gas usage a few days after the 4.6 earthquake in ****** **********. They suggested I contact my water company because there also was a huge loss of water associated with what they saw regarding the increase of heat use. I contacted American Water and they confirmed there was a huge increase in my water use and increasing. They made a note to stop charging me for the increasing water flow on that date and sent out a worker from American water to confirm. I then contacted Adeedo! as I had used them before when we had a problem with a leak in my small bathroom under the toilet. They had handled that problem and did not try to get me to buy into any extra (unnecessary) work at that time. It could be because my Eldest son was there! So, I let Adeedo start the process of locating where the problem was. I had noted that there was an increase of heat spreading out from my walk in closet and the floor/wall was next to my laundry room and the water heater. Adeedo told me they were going to use a special camera to help locate where the leak was, but then backed off and said that they could not do it (even though I had had it done when I had the water pipe under my sink develop a leak and flood my kitchen area) My plumber at that time told me to call my ***************** USAA and so that was all covered by USAA. The restoration company arrived and immediately took control and used the "camera to check the rest of the pipes under my house. They were all O.K. and so the restoration process went forward. Awhile later my refrigerator developed a water leak and USAA was notified and they sent out a plumber to once again use the "camera" to check the pipes under the house. They were all fine. The leak from the refrigerator was fixed and USAA paid for the new carpet in my front room. So when Adeedo said they could not do the camera because the water pipes were under the house in the cement foundation I sensed that the truth was not present because of the above evidence of prior use of a special camera to locate leaks. So the "supervisor" said they must replace the valves for the main water line, sprinkler system, water heater, and also to install a regulator for the whole house (because they were all very old as this house as built in 1978). Cost $5,500. I suspect this was unnecessary....... Of course the one thing that was needed was to replace the small pipes from the water heater where the leak was.....which they did replace and the large flow of water stopped and the warming rug began to cool. I am sure that one fix would have been much cheaper than $5,500. He then approached me and said I should replace the water heater because it was a few years past its warranty...I said no and he became a bit "pushy" but accepted my NO as final. I had a suspicion that there was a "she is a senior" and we can take advantage of that. He next approached me and made a big deal of "In the future since the house is the age it is the warm water pipes being in the cement foundation would be very expensive to get to and replace. He gave me thee separate ways to go about fixing that..........2 were a never would I do it and the third was to reroute to hot water pipes fro my attic. I should have said NO WAY to all three but my worry about and the huge water loss I had gone through mage me not check with another company and I gave the go ahead for the Attic re-route..... $17,500.......of unnecessary....and then he had the nerve to try to force me to also replace the cool water pipes.....that is where my good sense kicked in and I said NO! He got a bit upset and just said NO again. They did their holes and hot water pipes and finally the holes are patched, but of course they do not paint........So, I have been taken by their scam to take the senior for costly work that was not needed and what I read on the BBB site I am not the first senior to fall for their "words". So I have $5,500 plus $17,550 to replace and reroute hot water pipes that did not need to be done. The simple fix was to replace the hot water heater pipe that was leaking......Hmmmm wonder what that would have cost?????????/ My research suggests possible $300 to $400 ..................You can be sure I will never use Adeedo and will remember to check with BBB when using a new *****************

Contacted the business on 2/7/24 for a sewage back up on first floor toilet. Technician came out and ran a scope from the outside sewage line to the street, showing video of alleged ******************* and root intrusion. The alleged source of the problem was 100 feet from the actual back up. Claimed it could not be remedied without replacement at cost of 9k. Disclosed 3 day rescission period, but if I wanted the work done immediately to waive the requirement and workers immediately came on premises. My home was constructed in 2004, after ******************* were no longer used. On 2/8 they did another scope of the location of the backup and claimed another root blockage 3 feet from the source and under the slab foundation, claiming another 6.5k was necessary. I refused and told them just to hydro spray and snake. Why start 100 feet out to find a problem 3 feet from the source that was not scoped until the next day?In the course of working on the far location 100 feet from the source, they broke the water line and gas line. On 2/13, they called and demanded payment claiming work had been completed. As of 2/15, the toilet was still removed and a 7 foot deep hole in the backyard with a large amount of dirt. Absolutely no contact about status and next steps. On 2/16, they replaced the toilet, but left the hole and dirt, saying the job was complete and waiting for city inspector. I asked for assurances and evidence that a permit was pulled and request for inspection made. None were given and no evidence provided. At time of 2/13 invoice and demand for payment, e-mail included a happy money promise, you dont pay until 100% happy. Was told that was not part of the contract, making it false and misleading promise and fraudulent business practice

Home Improvement Contracts, Estimate Authorization and 5-day right to cancel all were signed. The Home Improvement Contract has the pricing and description of contract with His Signature and initials in 4 areas of the contract. The Estimate, which also has the pricing and description of work, was also signed and dated. As mentioned we did multiple jobs and also did a repair at no cost to him. Only after the job was complete was there an issue with pricing. WOrk performed: 1. Replaced main water service line 2. Hydro-Drilling 3. Main house Re-drain 4. Creating a new pit and installing a pump discharge system 5. repaired storm drain line - no charge to customer. We followed all proper procedures. I spoke with ****** ************ because they needed an additional repair on their storm drain line which was something completely different. I believe I have fallen victim to a predatory lending scheme. I am an elderly person and was experiencing plumbing issues and called ****** to assist. Was promised total issue resolution, took a loan through the lender coordinated by their contractor for $6000. However the issue was never resolved. I had to keep calling because the system behaves the same as before. ****** no refuses to honor warranty but I'm still liable for this loan. I opened up a case with the State of California Contractors State License Board who has tried to close my case over and over again. Finally **. ******* ********* come to my home and told me that I needed to have a plumber run a camera up the line to see something that is not clear to me. **. ********** had a man who said he was an Inspector (no card). **. ********** had a plumber who was working across the street from my home on June 10, 2022. I have yet to see the report **. ********** told me that the inspection proved that ****** did a great job. I have been paying on this account the entire time and during the dispute ******** was not suppose to charge me until the dispute has been resolved. I paid $200 to the plumber who supposed to have run the camera I have yet to see report and I am paying $99.00 per month and being charged late fees. I know I have been taken advantage of by ****** Plumbing and the Contractors State License Board.

In October 2021, I contacted ****** regarding a clogged toilet in my home. A plumber arrived and assessed the problem, he called an additional plumber with the camera equipment to review what was happening in the piping. Camera shows root damaged clay pipe. The repair contract states plumbers will dig down in front yard next to sidewalk, replace and install new ABS pipe and fittings plus heavy duty band. Labor was guaranteed for 5 years and pipe warranty for 5 years. This repair cost $****. Work was completed on 10-15-21 and paid in full with a personal check. On Sunday, May 1, 2022, I had a clogged toilet problem again. I contacted ****** that same day, and made contact the following day Monday, May 2, 2022. A plumber came out to review the problem. He used a camera to look at the piping. He determined there was root damage and that now I need a fiberglass liner to the city connection at a cost of $***** to complete this repair. I was very upset at this amount, especially having paid $**** for repair of the "same problem" less than a year ago. The plumber offered to find a payment plan for me with affordable interest and monthly payments! He cautioned me that without immediate attention to this issue I shouldn't use the washing machine, and to use the toilet sparingly. My late husband and I have relied on ****** Plumbing for many years. I was never even offered a more cost effective solution, if there is one from this company. I am very disappointed in ******!

I called Adeedo Plumbing on November 11/2021 to come by my property and unclog two toilets, the issue was misdiagnosed yet work was performed, and the issues continued to occur after the repair. Adeedo came back and investigated the problem and found that the cause of the clogging was located under the house, broken line under the house. This is 30 feet way from where the first technician, *****, said the breakage was located. Adeedo agreed not to charge for the initial repair work and would repair the breakage under the house at a total cost of ****. Once the work was completed Adeedo came by to pick up payment and have me sign a Home Improvement Contract that explained the work that had been done to the plumbing line, both the initial work and the current work. I took exception to some of the language in the explanation and did not sign the contract. The narrative stated a warranty of 5 years for all repairs. This was not what was promised. My understanding was 15 years for each. I also, did not agree with a statement that said that I felt that I should not pay for the initial work that had been misdiagnosed. When Adeedo came out for the third time to investigate the initial diagnosis and confirmed that the breakage was under the house and prior to me accepting additional repair work, I was told by an Adeedo Plumbing Manger, that I would not be charged for the initial work. I have had multiple conversations with ****** *******, the general manager, to revise the contract and provide the warranty that was promised to me. So far, he agreed on 5 years for the work that was done to the main line and 15 years for the repair work that was done under the house but refuses to remove the personal statement. I have explained to ****** several times, I do not feel comfortable with the statement. I have also offered to pay for the spot repair that was done under the house, but it seems to be tied to the contract which ****** refuses to revise.

On 9/15/21, Adeedo performed a partial sewer pipe replacement job on my house. The cost was ****** based on three working days. I agreed because the supervisor said much digging was required to reach the sewer line. To my great surprise, most of the work was successfully completed in only half day (another half day to replace pavement bricks). The technician said that the job was completed in much less time because digging was much easier due to soft sandy dirt. In my discussion with *****, Operations Manager, I pointed out that cost to me was based on a grossly over-estimated labor hours, not a simple estimating error. He said the job was completed earlier because they had three men working. This make no sense since the third man contributed little to this two man job. But he never called back, and did not reply to my calls. It has become apparent that the $**** cost was a fraudulent over-estimate, and Adeedo exhibited unscrupulous behavior in their unwillingness to adjust the cost.

I hired Adeedo to install tankless water heater at my house on 3/23/21. I paid $******** for parts Adeedo needed to do the work. I paid another $******** for the work done. Contract #*******. Afterwards, the city inspector did not approve the work done, because Adeedo's work was not to code. Permit/Plan Check #********. I have contacted Adeedo numerous times and spoke with several different employees to resolve city inspection. After several months of inaction, I am reaching out to BBB as a last and final attempt to settle the matter of Adeedo's failure to address and resolve outstanding issues in order to pass city inspection of tankless water heater installation. I am prepared to accept refund in the amount of $******** from Adeedo to have another contractor address the unresolved issues in order to pass city inspection.
