1 star********** ever. They have blocked my virtual card multiple times.Last time I did a transfer. From Dave to my other bank, they erased the other bank off my account and never gave me back my 200$ I transferred. I had a screenshot of it and how the money never made it and they still kept it!!!! IT WAS MY 200$! My physical debit card constantly declines even if it has money! Pin is good, card is unlocked & yet they still block it! Every pay check is a nightmare with them, I honestly fear every time Im gonna make a transaction because 9/10 it declines. Supervisor ***** was no help. This has been by far my worst bank experience ever. They shouldnt even call themselves a bank. They are thiefs. Also if you get a cash advance and still havent used all of it but they want their money back dont be surprised!!! Theyll take that cash advance right ************ still be charged even if its been paid! Save yourselves the headache. *************** are far better. Going back to ***** for sure! I would give it less than 1 star if I could. BEWARE using this app, especially if you're relying on it as your main checking account. I returned a product to ******* and, four days later, I still haven't gotten my money back. **************** is a complete joke they told me Id get my refund on a certain date... but gave me two different dates in the same conversation? Make it make sense. This app clearly cant handle basic banking. Im done. Closing my account and switching to Chime. Dont waste your time.Dave

However, the allegations suggest that consumers rarely receive the advertised amount, often do not receive any cash advance, and are charged an express fee for instant cash advances that is not clearly disclosed prior to granting the app access to their bank accounts. The lawsuit claims that the defendants encourage app users to provide a significant tip on cash advances through a misleading interface that lacks a straightforward option to decline tipping. The complaint further asserts that Daves app inaccurately suggests that the company will fund a specific number of meals for underprivileged children based on the size of a customers tip, while in reality, ********************** retains most of the tips and contributes only a minimal amount to charity, which is insufficient to cover the promised number of meals. Lastly, the complaint alleges that the defendants have breached ROSCA by enrolling customers in automatically recurring monthly membership fees without clearly disclosing essential transaction terms and failing to provide an easy way for consumers to cancel these fees.Dave

1 starGot the Dave card and it never worked. Called them and sent identification to verify, they clearly sent to wrong address but my postman knows me. Was never able to use card to get cash, pay bill or purchase. Always dealt by email with a different person and never got a valid reason why I was having such a problem. 1 starYour bank offers a "Get Paid Two Days Early" feature, which I believe should have prevented this issue. My employer consistently processes payroll two days before the scheduled payday, as confirmed for the following dates: 01/31/2025, 02/14/2025, 02/28/2025, and 03/14/2025. Despite this, none of these deposits were released early into my account, contrary to your advertised feature.After speaking with my employer, I confirmed that payroll was correctly processed on their end. Additionally, my employer has already processed payroll today, 03/27/2025. Therefore, I kindly request that you investigate why the early deposit feature has not been functioning for my account.Furthermore, I would appreciate your assurance that today's deposit will be handled appropriately and released early, in accordance with your policy.I attempted to resolve this issue with your support team yesterday, but unfortunately, the agent I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful. They insisted that pending deposits are pulled throughout the day, but this has not been my experience. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed and would like to ensure a more constructive resolution going forward.I trust you will address this matter promptly and provide an explanation, along with a resolution to prevent such issues from recurring.Thank you for your attention to this matter. 1 starDave's policies, I was with them for over 2 years, this past month, I had to change my mobile banking credentials due to fraudulent activity, rather allow you to update or reconnect my bank with Dave, they make you delete your account with them, then you have to wait 90 days to set your account up with them, First I know payday advances isn't a good practice, how ever the money I had arrowed put me in a bind because now I have to wait 90 days to recoup the money. This policy really blows. I hope they choke on their money. Should you need money this isn't the place to go, try Money Lion or Earnin, they don't pull this kind of c*** I won't be using them again I would sooner starve then deal with Dave. 2 starsI've had Dave for years. I've never been late, always pay my membership... My income and job has not changed. I did add a 2nd bank acct but I have direct deposits going into both.Long story short. In the beginning, I was approved for ***** advances. Over time and history, I was able to get 300 up to 500 when ********** I am back to being approved for ***** and that took be, paying my prior ***** advance off, early and waiting over a week.Extremely disappointed how they treat long time, faithful customer. Thx!!!
