I do not know what else to do. I need help. *** spent hours on the phone with Westlake and hours in DMV with no resolution.

I contacted the BBB in December about West Lake Management Portfolio who does ************** for the company Byte. After signing an account closure assignment with me in August they failed to close my account and continue taking $83.25 from my credit card for 5 months (Aug-Dec) after the contract was signed. Therefore, breaking contract and stealing money from me. I request a refund for those 5 months totaling $416.25 through the better business bureau. The company byte in turn reached out to me via email on Dec 20th 2022 stating I should receive a full refund in the mail in ***** business days. It's been nearly a month and no refund was received. They left the number for West Lake Portfolio Management in said email for me to call if I had any question regarding my refund. I called this number Jan 18 2023 and the rep told me that no refund would be issued through them that I need to call byte even though byte doesn't handle the financials. I just want my money back they stole from me after they broke our contract. and I'm trying to do it civilly.

I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to three Credit Bureaus and WESTLAKE PORTFOLIO ****************** to have this account removed from my file and they are continue to said the same excuse, which should no longer bearable. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from three Credit Bureaus. Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have WESTLAKE PORTFOLIO MGM confirm that I have no account with them and that the three Credit Bureaus can simply remove it from my credit report.

Westlake Portfolio Management has been void of communication as it pertains to issuing a refund totaling over $300 for my canceled BYTE account. The account originally cancelled in October in which they issued a refund, however it was sent to the wrong address. I called and advised the address it should've been sent to however a month later it had still not been received. Here we are now, having to have another check issued. I asked for it to be overnighted in which I was rudely cut off and advised it is not guarantee although they have made numerous mistakes in regard to getting me my check.

Westlake Portfolio took over my car note from ******** Financial. Within 2 weeks I received a letter from Westlake stating " Westlake Portfolio Management has been notified that the property insurance covering the above-referenced vehicle has either lapsed or been terminated" When I called and asked who "notified" them, (b/c that claim is false and that the car has always been insured), I was told that no one notified them, that the system generates the letter b/c they don't have insurance info on file b/c they just took over the loan. When I asked, "Why don't you just send a letter requesting insurance information instead of sending out a letter stating an obvious false claim of "being notified" "? (which was an outright lie) I was told again that the computer generates the letter and it's their way of letting us know they need proof of insurance. And that everyone gets the letter Once again, all I ask is why make the false claim and lie to people, saying you were "notified" that their insurance is lapsed or expired? Why not just notify them that you need a copy of their insurance for your file since you have taken over their loan?

Westlake took over as leinholder on my 2012*********** on XX-X-XX from ****************** I've been trying since that date to get this company to show as leinholder on the title and give me a letter of guarentee as the vehicle has been totaled out since XX-XX-XX on vehicle insurance. I've talked to over 10 represetatives who were unable to help me, but to keep saying payments behind well if I make payments then it messes with the paperwork up on the insurance company side I don't want to have to refile all the paperwork with the insurance company. My insurance company agent is actually the one that got ahold of someone and got the amount owed. I haven't been able to reach anyone to help me get the needed documents. This company taking so long is now affecting my credit report as it shows deliquient on payments. I can submit the email from my insurance agent if needed at a later time.

In early august of this year, I signed an account closure contract with ****. This contract was to release me from further payments being withdrawn. I checked my credit card statements from the last few months, and this company has continued to withdraw money out of my credit card. **** works with West Lake Portfolio Company, that is who billing is through. This Westland company has many bad reviews, unhappy customers and I'm not exception. I'm expecting a refund of the money they've been taking from my account which is in the amount of ****** per month for the last 5 months since the contract was signed. That should be a total of ********
