Upon studying Consumer Law according to The Truth and Lending ACT (TILA)in 15 USC 1605 THE DETERMAINATION OF A FINANCE CHARGE (a) Finance charge defined Except as otherwise provided in this section, the amount of the finance charge in connection with any consumer credit transaction shall be determined as the sum of all charges, payable directly or indirectly by the person to whom the credit is extended, and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to the extension of credit. The Finance Charge does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction. So if "Cash" Cannot be used in Any Consumer Credit Transaction why do I have to put a down payment on a vehicle, it's actually unlawful, illegal and misleading information that's stated in 15 USC 1640 Civil Liability I have the right to obtained twice the amount of a Finance Charge = $81,340 A down payment does not give or guaranteed me credit,I'm already a creditworthy appliciant in 12 CFR ****** Rules Concerning Extensions of Credit.(a) Individual accounts. A creditor shall not refuse to ***** an individual account to a creditworthy applicant on the basis of ***, marital status, or any other prohibited basis.Furthermore in 15 USC 1602 (I) The term credit card means any card, plate, coupon book or other credit device existing for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, or services on credit. So when I filled out the pre-qualifier application on CarGurus through ********* Financial my credit card or social security number was ran I need to received my benefit! and sign a Purchase Agreement along with the Title and Insurance included...I honestly deserve a Brand New Vehicle I'm willing to negotiate Futhermore in 12 USC 412 Appliciation for Notes; Collateral Required So the application actually pays for the asset of getting a vehicle with the finance company depositing the application and obtaining the principal and interest...

We do not negotiate the price of the vehicle, that would be up to the dealer, We are not a party to the sale, only the finance company who would finance your loan if you were approved. Please reach out to the dealer with any further questions and/or concerns.

I have been fighting with them since filing my Chapter 13 in 2019. They were supposed to fix the incorrect information on my credit report. I received a letter stating this recently. I just looked at Experian after a dispute and now Westlake posted my vehicle was a charge off and I was late 7 payments or 60 days. Experian hasn't been helpful either. I contacted Experian Equifax and Westlake credit bureau and my attorney in this last email stating they need to fix this

I am writing to file a complaint against Westlake Financial Services regarding their reporting of a fraudulent account on my credit report. Despite their repeated assertions that this account is verifiable and accurate, Westlake Financial Services has failed to respond to my consumer dispute within the 30-day window required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (****).I have also filed complaints with both the Consumer Financial ***************** (CFPB) and the ************************ (FTC) regarding this matter. Westlake Financial Services lack of response is a clear violation of the **** and my consumer rights.Furthermore, they continue to verify and validate a debt and an account on my credit report that is not legally connected to me. Their ongoing actions are causing significant harm and are in direct violation of consumer protection laws. It has been over 62 days since my initial dispute was submitted to the three major credit bureaus and Westlake Financial Services and as of today 6/1/24 this information is still being reported on my consumer report.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is a closed charged-off account as of October 31, 2023 that just reported a new balance from $1823 to $2489 I thought that closed charged-off accounts couldn't report new balances and plus by the account being charged-off the company wrote a profit and loss write-off statement, I never recieved a 1099c form so to me that means, that would be a 1099c ERROR in negligent behavior, that will be considered an act of tax fraud because when reading the instructions on the 1099c form it ****** explains that a charge off account is an account that has been discharged, canceled or forgiven I want this account removed from my TransUnion credit report for inaccuracies and for tax fraud failure to provide me with a 1099c form.

This company is a predatory lender charging a lending rate to kids who had no idea what interest rates are. When I went to pay some of the principal in addition to the payment they told me they would apply my money where they saw fit. Even after my daughter paid off the car they are hasssling and lying authentic time frame and sending the lien release letter. We were told 1 week over 2 weeks ago . They also said it could be emailed again a lie. I want it sent over night and they refuse to send another. I want them to compensate for their lies by sending the letter over night so I can sell the car. They keep pushing it off. The car is paid in full

We paid off our vehicle loan on 2/6/24. we were the title was sent out on 2/16/24 and we would have it no later than 2/26/24. No title. Called multiple times and no one can give the same story. Finally, after being transferred to multiple departments, they now claim the lean release was sent out 3/4/24. I called today (3/12/24) because again we still did not receive anything. the story once again changes and now they are claiming it was sent out via **** mail on 3/11/24. I see through the BBB that they have a 1.13 rating. I'm hoping that this business will be held accountable for their mistakes.

In 2018, I purchased a car that was financed through Westlake Financial Services. ** Cars paid off the balance of the car and westlake failed to provide them with the title. I received confirmation from westlake that the car had in fact been paid off and had also received a reimbursement for the balance. I applied for a car loan and found out that it is still listed as a derogatory **** on my credit after having this matter resolved several times through the BBB. I have letters from westlake stating this matter has been resolved. My claims filed with the BBB are case #s ******, Ref# **-13009156-73608-17-3-200. I have emails and correspondence that confirms this was resolved and paid in full on 10/28/2018. Please help me. I am unable to access the company responses as this case is 5 years old. Thank you for your assistance.
