One of their customers sold me their car that was not paid off. When I tried to speak to Westlake about the issue, they were rude and did not help me. The person who sold me the car has blocked me so I cannot reach them and this car got re-posed in ******, ** 3/18/25 which included my drivers license, my credit card and all my personal items. When I called Westlake just to get my items they were extremely rude and me they needed to speak to ****** the girl who scammed me by selling me a car that was not paid off. Needless to say Icannot get any of my personal items and they will not tell me where they are located because the police need to know where to goBusiness Response

I never had agreement with west lake finance services! I dont know why are theyre reporting to my credit report! I want a copy of agreement that I made with them! My husband and I helped pay off a car loan (terrible one for that matter) for our son in law. We paid directly from our bank on March 6, 2025. On recorded line, we were told we should have title in max of about 14 business days. We have called to check on it several times, every time we were told title was released March 16, 2025 and we should receive by March 26, 2025. We called today, March 31, 2025 and all of a sudden there has been a managerial hold placed on the title for 60 days, as the amount paid was "large." We have never been told this. The company refunded $2.77 (yeah, WOW), so we know the money has cleared. We need the title overnighted asap, as we own the car. We get placed on hold every time we call and are currently going on and hour and a half with this call. We just need the title mailed, as we own the car. Thanks.Business Response

On 03-21-2025 westlake financial repossessed my car I immediately contacted them and was told that I have missed 3 payments from January, February, and march I asked to speak with a supervisor as to my knowledge at the time I have sent the payments. When I spoke with the supervisor he informed me that on their end it shows I attempted to make the payments but due to issues with the bank the charge was reversed but there was never an email or attempted phone call from westlake to inform me that the payments never went thru which the supervisor even confirmed westlake never attempted to reach out regarding the matter. Given the situation the supervisor said he will put in a request to fix the situation so I can pay the missed payments and get the car back as of 03/29/2025 I have not been contacted and am still being told I must pay the full amountBusiness Response

We were behind on payments (2, to be exact). I contacted Westlake on 2/19/2025. The representative OFFERED to take a payment and defer the 2nd to the end of the loan. She stated we were up to date and that our next payment was due on 3/27/25. I was grateful for the assistance and confirmed that we would resume our normal schedule of payment. On 3/25/25 my car was repossessed. When we called Westlake we were informed that the deferral was denied. We asked them to pull the recording to confirm the info we were given by the representative. They would not. They state we need to pay the car in full to recover. They state we should have called back to confirm the deferral was approved. We did not call back as we had no idea the deferral even had an approval process. We didnt ask for it. It was offered. They disconnected 3 times when we were speaking with them. They take no accountability in helping resolve their mistake. We asked for them to honor the agreement made with their representative. They will not.Business Response

I have tried getting I contact with this lending institution to no avail. I have paid off my loan and have yet to reserve my ****** it has been almost 3 months and when I try to call all I get is their machine. I know they have love representatives because if I missed just one day of payment they would be hounding my phone non stop. This has been the worst lending institution I have had the misfortune of doing business with.
