    We rented a 6 bedroom cabin from AdventStay in *********** in August on 2024. What a great experience all around. From calling them to make a reservation until the day we left. This cabin met all our expectations and then some. Full size kitchen with dinnerware, refrigerator, oven dishwasher, and plenty of room for the 11 of us to sit. Huge living room with a perfect view of the mountains. 2 big bedrooms on the first floor, and 4 more upstairs. Each had their own bathroom. Lower level had a game room, shuffle board, pool table, video games. Plus a theater seating movie room next to that. Another half flight down was an in ground pool. Temp was just right, didn't need to add heat. That was a up charge . Each level had a balcony. Main level had a clean gas grille to use. Lower level had a nice size hot tub that we all used a lot. Grocery store was a couple miles away and their prices were fair. Plenty of attractions around us to keep the kids busy everyday. This location was amazing. Relaxing for all of us. My wife and I both said we got the right place when the Grandkids all agreed that this was " BEST VACATION EVER "Thank you AdventStay

    We booked the house we did based on it having a hot tub. Very long story short the hot tub was greenish/grey when we arrived and we contacted avantstay and they assured us it was safe but they'd send someone out. They arrive the next day and the person replaced half the water, added various chemicals to lower ph and said it was 100% safe to use. We had to wait until that evening (24 hours after our arrival) to use hot tub. They adequately refunded $100 for that which was perfect. However.. the following night we used it and within 30 minutes of getting out, our children developed itchy rashes and bubbles on their face, neck, arms and chest. We did not use the hot tub for the remainder of our trip due to what seemed to be unsanitary conditions. From what we understand this type of reaction is usually due to poorly maintained hot tubs and/or bacteria present. We reached out to Avantstay with photos of the water and of our sons skin (who had the most aggressive reaction) and went back and forth in conversation for a few messages and about 24 hours later they notified me that they 'refunded $250 for our inconvenience'. I was not going to drag this out through litigation and arguing. I was extremely respectful of them. I told them that their offer was woefully inadequate that our counsel stated that we were owed at the very least 75% of our $1700 payment but I was not going to fight them and lose my peace of mind over money. Based on their greed of money over the health and safety of their guests, children none the less, I will spread this story far and wide just to let people know they do not take it seriously in deed. They were very apologetic, but apologies didn't allow my son to sleep for the 3 nights he could not lay still due to the pain and itching. In the end, HomeToGo and AvantStay get an F for failing to compensate guests when their vacation was ruined due to unsanitary conditions. They had to opportunity to send back a full refund, but pleasantly chose greed.

    **********. Upon arrival I was unable to get into my stay. After 30 minutes of the ** *** attempting to get me into the place with different codes, he told me that they were sending staff to the storage unit to LOOK FOR A KEY! This is at almost midnight. He said just give him 30 minutes to try to fix the problem. So after hours of traveling I got to sit outside and wait for a call back. When I finally received the call back, he said I should get a hotel as they had exhausted all their resources. So NOW, at midnight or so, I am stuck searching for a nearby, non MURDERY hotel, that will let me stay there for a night, and at this time of night. LUCKILY, I found a place and after some finangling with the system, she was able to get me in. By about 1 am, I finally had the pleasure of unpacking, showering and going to bed to pack up again and hopefully get into my rental. Upon arrival, I was greated by broken shades, pee stained carpet, dirt on the baseboards, stains on the cabinet, etc. After contacting avantstay about this AFTER I GOT HOME as no one wants to deal with this nonsense during their NOW 2 DAY STAY, the ** *** said they can't help me as I was APPARENTLY suppposed to spend my vacation time notifying them of these issues. WERE THEY GOING TO COME REPLACE THE CARPET OR?!!?!?!? Give me a break. That place was the worst rental I have ever stayed in. THE WORST

    I negotiated a discounted nightly rate for $500 over the phone and when they billed me the rate was $621. When I contacted them, they said it should have been $500 but would look into it. The next day I get a text message saying that the reason it was $121 more a night was that a $121 "Beachside Fee" was included which was never told to me. Fees are always listed separate with the taxes. They kept saying that the fee was disclosed to me but it was not. So, I was charged a extra $365 that I was expecting or could afford. They were unwilling to refund me the extra fee. I will never book with them again. Very dishonest company!

    AvantStay canceled our reservation made three months earlier claiming that they had "contractual obligations" which they either did not disclose at the time of the reservation or entered in after accepting our reservation and deposit. This wrecked the travel plans of 13 family members. While they provided a full refund, there is no price for ruining travel plans of 13 people.

    We booked the ****** home in LA for Labor Day weekend for our two families (including four young children), and it turned out to be the worst hospitality experience we have ever endured. Upon arrival, the house was completely uninhabitablereeking of animal urine, particularly in the children's bunk room, with a foul odor from the attic that smelled like a dead animal. When we contacted the after-hours concierge around 7pm, their only response was to send pest control and cleaners the following daya disgraceful response to such conditions.After multiple calls and speaking with eight different agents, including a manager, we received no resolution that night. By midnight, with the house in unsanitary condition and unfit for children, we had no option but to leave and book a hotel. AvantStay refused to cover hotel costs or issue a refund until the next dayan inexcusable ******** wasnt until late the following afternoon, after relentless follow-ups, that we finally secured a refundyet no compensation for our hotel expenses. The lack of professionalism displayed by AvantStay agents, the failure to return calls, and the sheer incompetence in resolving such an urgent issue is beyond unacceptable. To add insult to injury, the home itself didnt match the listing photosit was outdated, with rough, cheap bedsheets, and a bathtub that didnt ******** is clear that AvantStay has zero quality control. Allowing guests to check into a home in such deplorable condition demonstrates a complete disregard for basic hospitality standards. This entire experience reflects poorly on AvantStays diligence, integrity, and reputation.We will never use AvantStay again and will actively discourage others from using their services.

    I would rather it be 0 stars. We had booked a home in ***, ** for 8/19 to 8/24. AvantStay canceled our rental just hours before we arrived due to a well water problem with the home. They were sorry and refunded our money pretty much leaving us stranded as to our vacation. They offered us houses in ******* that didnt even come close to the home we rented. We were going to spend our vacation with our three children and their families and a service dog as we have a little grandson who has severe health problems and developmental issues. My daughter is due to deliver soon. They were forced to return home. That night we were forced to find a motel. We needed three rooms. Not much available. We had to find a place to do dinner. Again it was a Monday. Almost everything was closed. We had brought meals that we prepared at home to have through the stay. We had to throw everything away as it sat in the car overnight. And we had to do breakfast the next day. Luckily we found a house on another site. The owner was wonderful. Even offered us a free night in another home he had. Unfortunately we were already booked in this motel that we werent thrilled with. All we wanted was for AvantStay to pay for our out of pocket expenses with the rooms and meals. And they wouldnt. We were offered I believe a $250.00 voucher for our next stay with them. Really like we will ever use them again. A lot goes into planning a family vacation. It shouldnt be able to be canceled like you are canceling a lunch date. Yes they did refund the amount of the rental. But they left us stranded as far as our vacation. Either AvantStay or the owner of the house should be responsible for our out of pocket expenses. It wasnt our fault. We had paid for this house in full months before the total was due. Thats just bad business and just not right to do to families. We were treated so well by the owner of the house that we were lucky to find. A day and half of our vacation was wasted due to this.

    Rented ***************** there was work being done on the beach we had zero access noise from bulldozers all day and they started to work at 4am woke up to reverse beeping from machines just simply discusting experience we had they should have disclosed this to us so I can book somewhere else. The house in itself is poorly kept toilets need better cleaning just all round c*** please safe your money don't book this place I will be posting short vids on my insta and tiktok

    To start by saying this was a beautiful property. The bridge, river, decor etc. However, when booking *******, we chose it because it looked like a dream. Gorgeous pictures, amenities listed, etc. As the week went on, the list of things wrong with the property kept going. The bride took pictures throughout the week of the problems. We visited the original Zillow listing that the house was on when last sold. All of the pictures on the listing are from Zillow 24 YEARS ago. Not UPDATED PICTURES. Knowing that, we realized the actual house does not match the pictures on Avant. We had a broken shower door that would not close, a rock placed under a twin sized bed to hold it up, due to the frame being broken, the bathroom dial fan that completely turned sideways when touched and has toilet paper stuffed behind it. Busted outdoor fireplace, a hot tub that doesnt work, towel rods broken and set in the window. The kitchen sink falling through the counter. Several mice throughout and leaving f**** This list is a SMALL portion of the issues. All of them, when brought to the attention of the property manager, were things he had no idea about. Seems like they do not do proper check-in and maintenance between stays if they had no idea about a broken bed and shower. When we finally reached checkout day, the bride of the party got a message from the property manager (who we kept in contact with the whole stay), letting her know that she should be compensated for the issues we experienced since this was almost a $10,000 stay for this home for the week. This was NOT something we brought up or asked for. Today she received an email letting her know they compensated her $100. Disappointed doesn't even cover it since Avant Stay is supposed to be a high end and upscale company. Thankfully, the group we had made the trip wonderful but next time we travel to *****, we will not be booking through Avant as they do not care about their customers and would not recommend staying at the *******
