I have been operating my business through *** for years. While preparing to onboard new employees, I added (3) business emails to my account. I got an invoice for $0. After this invoice was processed, all business emails were suspended. This resulted in an $18,000+ deficit for my company - none of our employees could log in to respective drives, client communications, or receive payment for services rendered. All of our accounts are paid in full, and I have invoice documentation. Our accounts say "active" but when we try to log in, it says it has been suspended by the reseller. After requesting (5) separate callbacks and waiting on hold for over 7 hours collectively, my case has been forwarded to a supervisor because none of the first level customer service **** have the authority to fix this issue. We have still not heard back, and still do not have access to business email ****************** has become inoperable because of WIX mistake. We have filed a civil lawsuit to recoup the damages.

Just like ALL of the other reviews, Wix.com charged for for a service I did not use. They make the auto renew feature difficult to see, and (allegedly) send you one email telling you that you will be charged in 30 days. If you miss that email, they charge you $469 for their service. You can ask for a refund the following day, having never used anything they offer. It doesn't matter...they won't refund you. This company is gross and I intend on telling everyone I know how dishonest they are. They just want to steal your money. What a terrible way to run a business ESPECIALLY when it is supposed to cater to other business owners. B2B should always have some area to negotiate. Just very poor business ethics. I hope this company fails.

This company charged me what I thought would be $234.00 to build my website. After the hidden fees which I had to pay in advance, I ended up paying $372.00. Then, in the small print I was told after one year I would be charged $744.00. I ran to my bank and cancelled my card. They have no customer service and they're help option brought me to a solicitor that told me he can help build my website for $3000.00.

I have been a Wix customer on and off for several years. In May 2025, I was charged $348 for an automatic renewal of a subscription that previously cost between $130$170 per year. I was not made aware that the price would more than double, nor was I required to confirm this new charge.Wix sent a renewal notice 30 days in advance, but the email was filtered to my spam folder and never reached my inbox. Additionally, they processed the charge nearly two weeks before the new subscription term even started, using an outdated billing address. I had not logged into my account since January and was not actively using the ********** soon as I became aware of the charge, I contacted Wix within five days of the new term starting to request a refund. Despite my long payment history, lack of usage, and prompt request, they refused citing rigid terms and conditions.I understand that automatic renewals are part of their system, but I believe it is an unfair practice to process such a large renewal without requiring updated consent or ensuring proper notice is received, especially after a significant price increase.I am now disputing this charge through my bank. I am also sharing this experience so others are aware of how Wix handles renewals and customer service. In good conscience, I can no longer recommend **** services to clients, students, or peers in the creative industry.

Multiple years in a row *** has charged me both monthly and annually for my premium plan. This is to the extent of $31.25 each month and then an additional $450. That results in me paying $375 + $450 = $825 for the year premium plan. That is straight robbery... no mask, no gun. I've been a customer for years and love the website I've built which is why I've been reluctant to switch to a different website building platform. However, when they take advantage of their paying customers the way they've done to me the past two years in a row, it gives me no other option. I'm truly so upset and have to start over on something that provides my livelihood.Contacting support outside of an AI chat bot is non-existent. If you choose to give this horrible, greedy company your money just expect it to be double or triple to cost that you agreed to paying. Absolutely awful business that should frankly be shut down. Alternatives to WIX: ************ WordPress, GoDaddy, Bluehost

*** is committing fraud. They tripled the cost of my website, so, I changed my plan. My plan fee reduced from $610 to $378. I received an invoice confirming this change. Then, *** refused to repay the difference in the fee to me. I disputed the $232 difference in cost with my bank and my bank got that money back. In retatliation, Wix took my website offline and STOLE the $378 I PAID for a three year contract. They are thieves and I will be taking my website to a competitor after having had a *** website for over a decade. Beware of these scammers.

wix is a lying, sleazy bait-and-switch operation. they market the ******* as a free blog hosting service, but when you go through their process for a free blog site, you can post tobit but it cannot by accessed or read by anyone. any person going to the web address you see on your site management page findsa 404 error message, and the site basically forces you to upgrade to a premium site, which I did, at the cost of ( including the mandatory tacked-on private site security service) roughly $200 for a years site hosting. then they started sending me messages that the site would be discontinued if I did not verify my membership-associated e-mail address by replying to their verification e-mail, which I did no less than 12 times, each time being assured that great, youre all set! but then they took it down anyway. Im out $200 and the frustration of creating 12 blog posts than now nobone can access and read. your only Wix assistance comes from AI bots that run you around in circles and rarely help. you can request a callback from an actual human but the bots are drsigned to make that a last option and difficult. I have been assured three times during the same hour-long bot session that a callback will be coming quickly and recd no callback. Wix wannabe users, buyer beware!

I am extremely dissatisfied with Wix and their handling of payments through Wix Payments. As a business owner, I rely on timely disbursement of funds to operate efficiently. *** claims that their payment verification process takes "up to 7 business days," yet I have been waiting for over two weeks with no resolution. I have provided all requested information and met every requirement, yet my funds are still being withheld without justification.Whats worse is the lack of communication and transparency from Wix support. I have reached out multiple times with minimal response, and no clear answers have been provided. This is not just a delay it is a serious disruption to my business, and it is completely unacceptable.Withholding client payments beyond a clearly stated timeline without cause is, in my opinion, unethical and possibly illegal. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will be escalating the situation through regulatory complaints (including the ****), legal channels, and by warning other small business owners to think twice before trusting Wix with their payments.I expected more from a company of this size and reputation. This experience has damaged my trust completely.

Worst experience ever with false advertisement . Offers a free website and free domain after purchase a year subscription which you actually have to pay for another form of subscription monthly just to use the website and the domain . ***** was super horrible, over talking me and placing me on hold for long periods of time claiming a refund will be sent via email once someone review the account I created an hour before calling. I would not recommend wix.com to anyone . They are con artists who create additional fees for services they claim are included in the initial purchase.
