      They illegally retain an account in your name even if it is empty, for years on end ad infinitum. They demand you log into their service to delete it and won't remove it unless you do so and send them all sorts of personal info and documents they have no right to.

      My Robinhood account was hacked, none of my credentials worked. I reached out to Robinhood several times and they had me going around in circles. I was told several times to submit my identification and provide a selfie. I provided documentation and everything. They keep pretending I cannot be verified. This whole situation started when someone hacked my account and started stealing money from my bank accounts. My whole family was affected. I called the telephone number provided via email, I spoke to representative with a heavy accent and she stated my information did not match up. She stated I would have to respond to the email and hung up on me. The email I was received was the third one asking to upload my identification and provide a selfie. I am so over Robinhood, they are scammers. Once your account is hacked an life has been turned up side down, they treat you like trash. Tip of the day: STAY FAR AWAY FROM ROBINHOOD!!!

      I wish I could give half a star. I have been with Robinhood for more than 4 years but for no restricted my account, requested for my bank account statement which I provided. After a while I requested for a reason why my account was restricted because I had options expiring that same week. The company closed my account not because there was bad activity on my account and the only reason I could think of was I angry with the agent I spoke with as she was not forthcoming with any explanation. I like how simple their platform is but they are dangerously dishonest. Stay away!!!

      My email was compromised and my number. I was unable to use drivers license to update or speak to anyone to resolve issue. I was able to access account but not able to update my new number since the hacker placed theirs on my account or update the deleted email they have also on the my account. I will also be reporting this to the authorities.

      Robinhood are scammers, I have more than a year trying to open an account which without reason reject the application for multiple open, I try to contact them to help me with the main account and only give generic answers and ask for the same documents over and over again for no reason, even with the documentation or help me to enter the main account and refuse to close the open accounts, despite that if they accept deposits into the account with the excuse that the application is pending when it is not true.

      This is based on a true story that happened last year against Robinhood. After hours, Nvidias stock started moving in the opposite direction, and I was about to take a big loss. I was thinking about selling, but when I tried, the sell button was disabled. I called customer support, and the representative told me there was nothing they could do, claiming it wasnt Robinhood doing. But thats not trueRobinhood does disable the buy and sell buttons at times.This is a classic example of market manipulation, which is illegal. Im honestly surprised Robinhood is still operating and hasnt been caught for this
