I have two WhatsApp accounts, identified by the numbers *** ** ********** and ** *** ********. However, due to some mistake, both accounts were wrongly banned by WhatsApp. These are the numbers I use daily to communicate with my family, with other people, and especially with my daughters. I kindly request an explanation of the actual reason for the ban and ask that my accounts be reactivated, as they are extremely important to me and my family.Initial Complaint

I used to live in ***** (***) with my partner, I took out a phone contract with ************ and set up WhatsApp business account, after around 1 year, I returned to *******. After a few months my partner was receiving messages from friends in ***** as a Russain women had full access to my account, this had very sensitive information (multiple passports, personal photos, passwords etc). I presume ************ sold the number again and WhatsApp allowed access to my account via a different phone without security. My previous number was ****************.Initial Complaint

The issue ifls not about money. This problem first started some months ago. My account was blocked /banned but it was reinstated after I reached out to them within 24 hours. Again, the same problem occurred this morning and while they did their reviews, they ended up banning my phone number there not enabling my phone number register with the service. This problem is going to take a very big toll on my personal life, financial and psychological life. There us even a police case going on as regards to my phone number whereby someone tried to blackmail me. So the police is investigating the issue and my phone number was involved. I placed an order for these laptops, they were recieved and they were in horrible condition. We were not satisfied, so we explaines the issue and sent them back for the refund we were told we could get. The seller was removed from the app for a short period shortly after we requested the refund the it said they were after it said the items we shipped back were returned and received by the seller, waiting on the seller to confirm, but this has been weeks and when you try to reach out to whats app support it is liek a scam, they always say oops, something went wrong I assume so they dont have to give ypur money back. At the beginning of February my ******** was hacked. The hacker is using a WhatsAPP to Control my account and the two step notifications. I have tried for weeks to go through the recovery process to get back my accounts. I got to the step of uploading my I.D. and then I was completely locked out of ******** and Instagram. I don't know if I gave my I.d. to ******** or a hacker. I am now at risk for Identity theft. I need WhatsApp, ******** or Instagram to secure my accounts with the username of ************. Please unlink whatever WhatsApp is linked to my accounts, as I do not have WhatsApp. Please put the original two step verifications back on the account. My phone number and email address that I listed. The hacker removed all of those and added their own. I have tried to get in on known devices and it is saying I am locked. I've currently traveling for business. I have an international WhatsApp phone number *************** in ******. I'm not sure if I'm not being helped due to the current situation, but WhatsApp customer service support is has not been willing to help me with something that seems like a common/ordinary issue. Apparently my phone for my international work number is out of date--fine. I'm trying to transfer to my MacBook Air laptop and use their app on the Desktop version which millions of people do. They will not help me access my account and I need to authenticate with a QR code that can only be accessed from my account which is locked up because I can't update the App because my phone doesn't have the latest version for their new operating system. This whole thing is DECEPTIVE. Either I have a new phone or they lock up my information, contacts, and chats and DONT allow me to transfer it over so I can at least reach my friends and business contacts. This is unacceptable. Please see their very unprofessional responses to me after I provided screenshots to them. Please help me either get in touch with someone willing to help me or something. Subject: Dispute Regarding Unjustified WhatsApp Account Ban Dear ************************ am filing a complaint against WhatsApp regarding the unjustified banning of my account back on 02/06/2025. My account was suddenly disabled without any clear explanation. Despite multiple attempts to contact WhatsApps support team, I have only received generic responses stating that I violated the platforms terms of service. However, they have not provided any details on which specific rule I allegedly broke or the reason for the initial report.I have carefully reviewed WhatsApps policies and do not recall violating any of their rules. All of my conversations on WhatsApp have been with people I personally know, and I have never engaged in any form of harassment, stalking, or inappropriate behavior. WhatsApp is my primary means of communication with my mother and child, who live in another country. Losing access to my account has caused significant distress and difficulty in staying in touch with them.I respectfully request that WhatsApp provide a detailed explanation of why my account was banned and, if possible, reinstate it. At the very least, I would like a representative to thoroughly review my case and clarify the exact reason for this action.Thank you for your time and assistance.
