      I used Legal Zoom to file an initial tax exemption back in 2015 for a small non profit and they continued without my knowledge to charge me $399 per year. When I called they refused to refund the money and also tried very hard to not allow me to cancel. In fact, they didn't let me cancel- they told me I would have to call the Secretary of State.

      I ordered a deed transfer to add a name to the house deed in June, 2021. The Order #XXXXXXXX. In August I had not received any documents. I put in multiple inquiries (in Aug,Sept, Oct. Nov. and just a few days ago each time I receive a response that gives me case numbers here are some examples ( ******************************* Not Listed Case:XXXXXXXX ******************************* Not Listed Case:XXXXXXXX ******************************* Not one was followed up with another response even though the email said I would receive some communication in 2 business days. I have yet to get an email, phone call, or mail. When tracked the message always says "shipped" but it has been saying that for months now. I charged $349.00 to my debit card for a service that did not occur. I would like to just get a refund at this point, but I cannot get through to them. Thank you, ******** ******

      I recently placed a copyright order with Legal Zoom on December 11, 2020. Copyright Materials needed to be sent to the company. I wanted to make sure the mailing address was correct because the website had changed. I did a chat with a girl named ***, she told me to send the materials to Legal Zoo, ****************************************** XXXXX. I was uneasy about it so I called the operator and he said I should have mailed it to the address on the website which was in Austin, Texas. I had already sent the materials to the California address, so my information is headed to the wrong place and I have no idea where it will end up. I talked to a the operator on Twitter to let them know the situation, because**** did not seem concerned about the mistake she made. At this point, I have no idea what is happening with my content. Anyone could receive it and I will have lost money, time and content. The website address and the operator error has cost me dearly. The work in the shipment has no price. I am disappointed and ask that if the mateiral is not found that they pay me for lost property.

      Legal Zoom are legal extortionists. They pray on those who don't understand legal procedures . They claimed to charge me a yearly fee for an llc and then tried to extort $168.00 to make it end and be refunded the initial charge. The person on the phone overtalked me the entire time and was not listening or helpful. I have tried reaching them by email no reply. They will continue to charge me $250 a year till I pay the extra to dissolve it. Of course it is in writing because they are a legal company. Just highly unethical and legal extortion.

      Issue: I need to amend my 2019 tax return, but my accountant found that there are 2 EIN numbers for my LLC which could cause some confusion. Issue: I filed my 2020 taxes with *********, and I now need to amend the 2019 tax return; but which EIN# do I use? The LLC was formed in 2014 with *********, but since I used ********* on my 2020 tax return, I will need to amend 2020 tax return as well to update the EIN# to *********, but ********* EIN is not registered in the State of ***********. Issue: Legal Zoom was hired both times to be my LLC's Registered Agent, and both times issued two different EIN#s for ****************************. EIN#,********* was issued on 02-06-2014 and registered with the State of ********, and the EIN#, ********* was issued on 03-17-2020 registered with the State of ***********. Issue: When I initially contacted Legal Zoom to ask what direction to take in 2019, they instructed me to start the LLC formation process and I will be contacted once the formation process begins. I was never contacted, and I was charged for a new LLC formation, and a new EIN was requested and issued by the IRS. So, I thought that maybe the 2014 EIN was no longer active since I hadn't filed my 2019 taxes. After further research, I found that once the IRS assigns an EIN to an LLC it is never inactive unless the LLC's formation had changed which it had not. The same Legal Zoom Authorized Representative, ****************, are on both 2014, and 2020 documentation which I have attached. So, I am not sure how she did not know that an EIN existed already for ****************************. I have called and spoken to CSR a few times in 2020 and 2021 to resolve the conflict, but I have yet to receive any communication back from Legal Zoom. Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve the EIN issues. Please do not move foreword with any changes until we speak. I need to know what direction you are taking with this so I will know what my next steps will be.

      My business, ************** ceased doing business in Tennessee five years ago. After several years, suddenly LegalZoom started billing me, $399 twice last year (I called and said stop) and then $399 this year again. I've cancelled the credit card that they were billing and have called them (the call was disconnected by them) and emailed them (awaiting response). I don't expect much except to stop the billing but others need to know.

      I set up my LLC with hopes of launching my business. On 9/28 I setup the tax service and accounting but soon learned of the financial burdens I was responsible for paying that left me paying for more than I could afford. I called on 10/4 to cancel the service was within 60 days. I haven't had much movement in my business, and my hours at work have changed. I have been charged for the tax and accounting service for two months. I called to see why I was still being charged when I canceled this service. Now I am being told I didn't call and that regardless if I can't afford it and there is no record of my cancellation. The pandemic has put my family and I in a financial bind and now I am unable to launch my business. I can't not afford this service and have a record of me calling and cancelling this service. If I was aware that I would be locked in for an entire year even after I called to cancel I would've never signed up.

      I paid legal Zoom to file for my business license they said it would take 10 days it's been a month and they still haven't filed. I sent everything multiple times. Every time I speak to them they say it's done that they filed for me but the never actually filed. They've told me multiple times that it's been sent to the secretary of state but it never was. This is holding up my business costing me potential losses.

      Paid for a service in july to attempt and get my llc It shows payment processes july 22 and that the state approved me and gave me a fein number july 29th as stated on the documents. Problem is I have been waiting for months for them to get me this info. It is with only have wrote 6 unanswered emails that I found a post on social media and commenter how bad their services was that someone actually contacted me and told me that it was a gross misconduct at legal zoom and that they would get me the rest of my info and get back to me today. Again they have failed. My family waited months and they still havent even shown the processing through legal zoom. But it does show the expected ETA of august when mu things would be ready. Too bad I already paid. I waited 4 months while my family fell on its face because of these clowns and they still havent finished. I just want to become a legal company to start my future and provide for my family

      I paid ridiculous extra fees that I never needed to pay for. I asked for a refund and after 40 minutes the lady helping me out was able to tell me that they would issue a refund for a small portion of it. I then asked a question and she put me on hold. Surprise surprise she hangs up the phone. Now I am calling back and waiting on hold again. Very poor customer service and customer representatives don't know much to help you out. Only the supervisor seems to know about anything. I had a friend that had the same experience only she got a call back after 2 minutes. The business license package is 99$ and they say they will help you know what licenses you need. However, I was sent a broad spectrum of licenses that had nothing to do with my business (likes sales tax). It was just a big list that is more general than specific. I also paid $60 for S corporation but they sent me form **** to fill out and send back to them. Anyone can print a free form **** and mail it out to the IRS. Why do I have to pay $60 for someone to mail out a form **** to me to fill out and mail back to them? I was also charged for by laws and resolution when I am a single party corporation. Those are not needed for single parties.
