      The "WILL" document was advertised and supposed to be on file & protected forever; until I needed to substitute 2 witnesses for the 2 that passed away. As part of the service, a "free copy" would be sent as part of the advertised service, which I had to request, numerous, times. Then I was told: my account number was wrong, and given a new one, which, did not, produce a copy of said will. Next I was told that because L.Z. converted to a new computer system, my will was lost on the old system. I foolishly expected to receive "free service"! I actually had to start all over, and, "not for free". REMEMBER THESE ARE ALL LAWYERS I suspect there could be thousands, UPON THOUSANDS, of customers across the country, that do not know their most important documents were lost forever.       The transaction happened on 9/7/2024. I have been trying to cancel my account for weeks and thought I had successfully cancelled. Then I was charged on 9/7/2024 in the amount of $299 for a scubscription period for 9/7/2025 to 9/7/2025. I contacted them on 9/7/2024 at 11am and was told that they would cancel my subscription for 9/7/2024-9/7/2025, but NO REFUND would be allowed. The subscription hadn't even been active for 24 hours and I would not be using ANY of the services at all, yet no refund would be allowed. This is theft.

      I created an ****** through LegalZoom in 2020. ***************** never operated. Since then, LegalZoom has been charging me for various services without proper explanation or authorization.Details of Charges:RA Renewal - 1 year (digital SOP 249): $249 annually Affordable Tax Annual Renewal: $320 annually Business Legal Plan Renewal: $320 Essential Compliance Package Renewal: $280 Standard Company Dissolution: $178 in 2023 (service not completed, yet charged again in 2024)Issues:Unauthorized Charges: I was charged again starting in 2021 after canceling all the subscriptions that year. They only canceled 2 of the 4 subscriptions and continued charging me in 2023 and 2024, even after being paid for dissolving the ****** in 2023.Incomplete Service: Despite paying $178 for the dissolution of my company in 2023, the process was not completed. I understand there was action needed, but without proper follow-up, they charged my account again in 2024.Predatory Subscription Practices: LegalZoom enrolls customers into auto-renewing subscriptions without proper notice or consent. They use an opt-in method that allows them to charge customers for years without notification.Inability to Cancel Subscription: My account shows an attempt to cancel the services in 2021, and it clearly shows how some of the services were canceled while two remained active, continuing to charge my account without authorization. What is even more concerning is that after paying for canceling the ****** in 2023, they did not follow up to complete the process and then charged the account again in 2024.

      Terrible customer service.Terrible lengauage/comminication skills.They are supposed to return phone calls, if disconnected, and yes they confirmed my phone number and after 20 minutes, on the phone, wasting even more time, the call was disconnected and then I was not calle dback, I confirmed this on a subsequent call that I was supposed to get a phone call, and also that the call was logged, the agent I spoke to was confirmed, and I let that person, who was supposedly a supervisor, that a minimum, and if that person I was talking to, cared about their company, they would be sure to talk to that representative because 1st, they had terrible commuication skills and didn't call me back when the call was disconnected.Unable to confirm what it is that "legal zoom processed, received from me, preovided to the state/irs and even after chatting, and calling in twice, they were uable to do so, which makes me feel as if legal zoom, didn't do things correctly in the first place, this was an expedited order, and it was urgent, important, etc..etc.. and I feel that the company absolutely failed and I am completedly disgusted that I came into contact iwth them, and I would have known better than to deal with them, if I knew the services were provided by less-than-capable-3rd-world-persons (which I have nothign against, but when things are of important//legal/business nature it might not be the best choice in a company offering)Now I paid for a service that failed, received customer service that failed, and Ibelieve they should reund me 100% due to their failuers.

      Legal Zoom refused to cancel ************* subscription. It is setup to auto renew on August 30th 2024 which I do not want to happen. I first tried canceling subscription online and the website then informed that I need to complete various tasks in order to prevent them from taking out more money against my will. So I then called the customer support line and it was truly unbelievable. After speaking to multiple people who just kept trying to keep me on the phone upsell me. Totally just ignoring my request to cancel. In fact I even asked the *** on a recorded line if they are refusing to cancel my subscription. And they simply unless I do x, ***** that they will automatically renew by subscription and take money from me without my permission. Finally I just sent an email to their customer support team and waiting for a response.

      I am filing a complaint against LegalZoom for engaging in predatory subscription practices and charging me for services I neither requested nor authorized. Recently, I was billed $200 for a registered agent service that I no longer require. When I contacted LegalZoom to cancel both this subscription and my membership, they refused to process my cancellation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, they have continued to insist on keeping my subscription active, effectively forcing me to pay for services I do not want.Furthermore, LegalZoom has added additional services to my account that I did not authorize, resulting in extra charges. I was not informed or consulted before these services were applied, and it is unclear how or why they were added to my account. This kind of behavior feels highly deceptive and raises concerns about their business practices. LegalZooms refusal to cancel my subscription, combined with unauthorized charges for services, has created an unfair and exploitative situation.I am seeking an immediate resolution that includes the cancellation of the registered agent service and my membership, a full refund for the unauthorized charges, and an assurance that no additional services will be added to my account without explicit approval.

      Legal Zoom is the provider for a former non-profit business I previously owned. We dissolved the business on 8/1/2024. On August 16th, I went to the website to cancel the registered ***** so I would not be charged. The legal Zoom system does not allow businesses to cancel a registered ***** without showing proof that another registered ***** has been assigned. This prevented me from using the online option for cancellation of the registered *****. On August 17th my card was charged by Legal Zoom for $249 for the cost of a registered *****. I saw the charge on August 20th and called Legal Zoom. There I spoke to two different *****s. The first transferred me to the second ***** when I stated I wanted a refund. The second ***** advised me to send a confirmation letter of dissolution from the secretary of state of CT and to call back to receive a refund. I filed with the state and today on August 27th the state dissolved the business. I got the letter of confirmation and submitted it to Legal Zoom online. I followed this up with a call to Legal Zoom to acquire the refund I was promised and the ***** shared with me that because I did not call before August 17th they could not issue a refund and that she would investigate by speaking to the representative to get her side of the story. I would like my refund as verbally promised by the second ***** from my call on August 20th. The discrepancies in the online system not allowing recognition of cancellation for dissolved businesses and only replacement of registered *****s, coupled with the call center representative misleading me on the process or the promise of a refund must be dealt with.

      I signed up with LegalZoom on June 13, 2024 to assist with filing the dissolution of my company, Carefluent. On June 24th, the dissolution was filed with the State of Delaware. Since then, I have called periodically to obtain the status of receiving the final confirmation of dissolution. I was told that it takes Delaware takes 32 to 40 business days to complete this process. I have now waited well past that time, but LegalZoom refuses to assist in following up with Delaware to complete the dissolution. Their **************** team lies regularly. They just outright lie--there is no other explanation for their deceptive behavior. They have told me to call the Delaware Secretary of State because they are unable to do so since the company belongs to me. That is a BOLD FACED LIE. I have called the DE Secretary of State twice (including today) and they have told me that since LegalZoom filed the paperwork, the information can only be released to them. They said that LegalZoom lies to its customers and tells them to contact the office directly because they don't want to wait on hold to speak with someone from the Secretary of State's office.Yesterday afternoon I called LegalZoom and spoke with someone named '****' from the Escalation Team. Absolutely nothing this woman says is credible (so I wouldn't be surprised if this also wasn't her real name). When I asked to speak with a manager, first she told me that they don't have any working and I would have to schedule a call back. When I insisted on speaking with one she then said that they are all in a meeting and unavailable to take my call. She also told me that I need to contact the Secretary of State's ********* this point I am sick and tired of LegalZoom and their subpar customer service, lack of customer access to agents who actually care and want to help. They have obviously outsourced their customer service and are not interested in monitoring it. I just want my company dissolution completed immediately.
