I purchased a gift card on 8-29-24 off the Gyft app as Ive been doing for over 7 years. Never had a issue with the app ever! This time I purchased a $25 **** eats e-gift card. I tried to apply it to my **** account and was giving a error message. It stated invalid card credentials. I tried multiple times and nothing. I first reached out to **** since I never had a issue with doing this before and they said they arent able to help since the card wasnt issued from them directly (totally understandable). So common sense told me to reach out to **** support team for more assistance with the problem. I search for a phone number to speak to someone but they only had a email for some odd reason. I reached out and was given very scripted responses. Asking me to provide the gift card details over and over again which I did PLUS I provided screenshots of everything just like Ive given here. I asked for either a refund or a new gift card issued since there was clearly a problem with the one I got originally. After a week of the slowest and worst customer support Ive even gotten in my life.I was basically told that they are non-refundable. Ok. Um that doesnt help with the fact that I used $25 to get a product that doesnt work. Wheres this company honor at? Ridiculous and unacceptable. I literally told them that I would be reporting in hopes of others not using the app and getting screwed over. If I could get my money back that would be ideal but at this point Im not holding my breath. ***** on a company like this! Such a scam! So disgusting!Initial Complaint

I was gifted a $50 Gyft card that I can't even access. I made an account, tried to access the site and it told me "Gyft continuously monitors account security and believes at this time that a password reset is the best practice for protecting the security of your account. In order to log in you must choose a new password by clicking on Reset Password button." I followed the instructions and reset my password. It then said I've successfully reset my password and can now login. When I put in my credentials it then proceeds to tell me: "Gyft continuously monitors account security and believes at this time that a password reset is the best practice for protecting the security of your account. In order to log in you must choose a new password by clicking on Reset Password button." This has happened over 30 times in the last few days. I can't access what was gifted to me. No contact phone number to speak to someone only an email which I've contacted them through only for them to tell me to how to reset my password, (which I done numerous times), send them multiple screenshots like they asked me to, can't even verify email address because the link is broken numerous times. Numerous tickets submitted in my behalf (so they said) but still no resolution. No nothing. I want what's mine. I am upset.Initial Complaint

Tuesday May 28th I used the company Gyft to redeem an apple gift card for 50 dollars. The company is scamming people left and right. They took the money off the card and its no where to be found. There is no customer support on the website or app. The link doesnt work. This company stole from me and I want my money back. They asked for my device to be verified over and over and still made it difficult to get in the app. I have zero access online.Initial Complaint

SCAM WARNING !!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CARDS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Gyft is a complete SCAM!!! I bought a gift card online and when I pressed enter I received an immediate response telling me that the order was declined for unspecified "security reasons". So I assumed I entered the information in wrong do I entered the info again. I then received an email stating that I would not be charged and my funds would be refunded in 7 business days so I immediately checked my bank account to find a Pending Transaction that my bank told me I would not be able to stop until the charges went through. I then called Gyft and when I was explaining the issue to an obviously Indian representative, he hung up on me!!! I called back a second time and the lady that then answered (sounded Russian) put me on hold and never returned. Buyer beware!! GYFT IS A SCAM!!!!Initial Complaint

I was given a $20 Gyft Card by ************ for completing a survey sharing my perspective. I have tried to use it several way based on their description on how to redeem. None have worked. on January 5th I used $200 Gyft funds to purchase a White ***** Black Market (WHBM) Gift card from Gyft Later that same day I attempted to make purchase from WHBM using the gift card I purchased, when during checkout I entered the gift card details and received an error that the gift card was not valid.- I tried two more times to make my purchases with the gift card, each time I got the error - i validated my card numbers and pin was entered correctly - I then went to Gyft website to review my order details, and find support , every support link on their page redirects you to a broken URL ( Page not found) - they make it VERY difficult to reach them for support and their website says to call the merchant for the card you purchased - I called the merchant to see fi they could help, they told me "The card is invalid and we Do Not Honor cards purchased from 3rd partys" and to call the vendor I purchased it from - Jan 5th I tracked down an email Address for Gyft. **************** & explained the problem, the support rep said call the merchant , check your numbers, etc. I explained the merchant couldnt help, that the numbers were right and further explained that the merchant **** said the card was not active and they wouldnt honor cards purchased from a 3rd party, because they had no agreement with ****. From Jan 5 - Jan 10 I have been exchanging emails back and forth with various support reps at Gyft.com each time they send me a canned response, that my card is active and to check my card numbers, verify I am purchasing approved items, They send me instructions for How to Redeem your card - rather then addressing the problem reported.In multiple emails that I have sent I have asked them to refund the $200 back to my Gyft wallet and they have ignored me. For 6 days now I have emailed back and forth with no resolution, they have $200 for a gift card that was purchased from them and the card is not being accepted by the merchant. I have a $100 credit for gift cards at gyft.com. I have been trying to login to the system and it continues to tell me to reset my password. After I reset my password, I try to login again and it tells me the same thing. This process is repeated and it wont let me login. So I tried to login through their app and its telling me to contact customer service. Ive contacted their customer service several times. The first time I got the email stating check my browser, etc and it should be fine. Ive checked everything they mentioned and its not an issue. So I made another account just to see if I could login and I can! So they are just keeping me locked out of my primary account so I cannot access my gift cards. The only contact information they provide is to email [email protected]. Ive since emailed after checking all settings on my end and they have ignored every email Ive sent. They owe me either gift cards or a refund. Please help.Business Response

When taking a look in the payment processor, we can see that this transaction was declined by your financial institution.Since the transaction did not go through successfully, you should see any pending charged drop off within 5 -10 business days.
