This business is a third party company to do the dirty work for cities hungry for cash. Tickets issued by the city are then sent for processing with this hack outfit. Got a sweeping ticket in my name in April 2023, when DB city resumed street sweeping unannounced to us after two years of not doing it at all!! We tried to call, it's utterly useless, lazy people get rich by cutting staff and service so they can bribe the city? We've tried dozens of times to call and send letters to transfer responsibility within time allowed to the driver who uses the car to no avail!! His signed affidavit and lease agreement ignored!! They send threatening letters demanding 'A Confrontation!' if my 70 year old mom won't pay them! Up to today trying to call to reason with them, no answer, their promises to call back are lies!!

      Hello,

We see that the City worked with you to adjust the citation and it is now paid in full.

Received a ticket for putting the expired handicap placard up accidentally on July 7, 2023 (the placard expired June 30, 2023 but I also had the new one). The problem is there is no way to receive any feedback or appeal. I appealed online but the inconsistent information on the citationprocessingcenter.com website makes it impossible to know what's going on. It displays BOTH that my appeal is underway and that my appeal period expired. I uploaded the proof of the current placard. I was also given a ticket for not having a front license plate while parked. How do I complete the fix it ticket without having to pay the full fee for the handicap expiration I am appealing? Citationprocessingcenter does a terrible job explaining anything on their website and will never answer nor call you back. I have been in their call back system multiple times and when they finally call you back, it reverts you immediately to a queue and then hangs up on you again.

      Hello,

We were able to make an outbound call to notify you of your citation status today as well as how to follow up with the appeal that was submitted as it is currently pending review by the issuing agency.

      Thank you! Citation Processing Center

I received a state tax intercept for a citation I've never received. I called who the debt was supposedly owed to and they have no record of me in their system at all. I've called the citation processing center to get to the bottom of this with never being able to get through. When I did receive a call back, the automated service said they were busy and would try to call me back again at a later time? So why would they call me back the first time if there was no one available to take my call. I'm wondering how they can intercept funds without sending a notice to the person and why no one is able to answer the phone.

      Hello,

We called and left a voicemail to gather additional information to assist. If you can provide a copy of your FTB intercept notice we can begin to look into further.

      Thank you, Citation Processing Center.

I received a citation back in April, for the amount of 131$ two infractions on one ticket however recently I changed addresses and didnt get the courtesy notice(s) until after the due date. The amount Has now doubled from 131$ to 259$ and for the last two and a half weeks Ive been calling citation processing centers customer service line only for the automated service to hang up after prompting you with a few options once you select ticket reduction the system automatically ends the call. I am just trying to take care of this citation that is now affecting my registration at dmv at this point cpc has very little alternative payment options / solutions to resolve this within a timely manner it essentially feels like citizens who make honest mistakes are being cornered into paying an absurd amount at least it feels that way under my circumstances and to make matters worse they do not have a nearby location or local offices easily accessible to the public in order to dispute such matters in person rather than being told over the phone by a robot that they basically cannot do anything to help you even if youve filed for a written appeal or deferred payment option

I submitted an appeal online and had to try multiple times due to extremely buggy website, which is shocking considering the importance of needing to pay parking tickets. Eventually I had to assume the appeal went through despite not receiving any email confirmation. I never found a reply in the mail either. I just checked the website and my appeal was submitted and rejected, which Ill accept, but now after not hearing a word Ive learned the fine is past due. Im willing to pay the original fine, but not the late fee which was a result of an incompetent website and lack of successful communication. Please adjust and I will pay the original fine. Thanks.

I have called your customer service more than 100 times the past few days for a violation that was issued on 7/4/2023. Phone numbers were left in order to receive call backs. However, no one has ever answered my phone call nor called me back. This is a scam and an example that policeman and private business collusion. I need someone to contact me ASAP so that I can file an appeal for this violation.

I received a parking citation that was issued back in May and did not receive a notice about till some time nearing the due date. I submitted a request/appeal to the Citation Processing Center website explaining the issue and have not been able to receive a response back or indication of whether or not my request/appeal was approved or denied. I have called the phone number several times over a few weeks, putting in my number for a call back and never have I received such thing what so ever. The only thing that I can clearly see regarding some sort of real answer that is still yet vague is the citation on the website under status reads," 05/30/23: Review - Request Accepted" to which I am unsure of the status.I have questions regarding this and it's very upsetting the fact that the phone option of speaking to live agents is practically unreachable and there is not a lot of help or understanding to what is presented before me via the website. How am I supposed to know what's going on if there is no way of reaching anyone through a phone service that is provided. I really just need some answers. Thanks

This company is a complete scam!I received duplicate parking tickets for snow removal when I wasn't able to move my car in a snowstorm. There was a miscommunication, and AAA had contacted ***** PD twice to let them know they were attempting to tow it and ***** PD said it was okay just to wait until the roads were plowed so that I could move it. When I arrived the next morning, ***** PD said I should be able to easily dispute the tickets with the information from AAA, since they had provided them the information. Anyways, it was two duplicate tickets for $267 each within 45 minutes of each other, when I shouldn't have been ticketed. It would be easy to resolve it but the CitationProcessingCenter is a straight up scam. There's no way to appeal. I've sent two letters with photos and all the information and each time they send back the appeal as denied. This time - "You have requested an administrative hearing; however you have failed to provide payment in full or completed waiver form" but there's no forms online and no way to find them and no forms included with the correspondence. The phone lines ring then disconnect after 10 minutes. So basically there's no way to appeal without paying the $600. SLT needs to stop using their service immediately.

      Hello,

Our customer service team attempted to call you yesterday and today, however there was no answer. The voicemail is not set up to leave a voicemail.

The results of your administrative review letter containing the results entered by the issuing agency outlined the hearing request requirements per ********** Vehicle Code. CVC does require payment of the full bail amount to submit the hearing request or a completed hardship waiver to waive pre-payment of the bail amount to request the hearing. To date we have not received payment of the penalty or the request for the waiver form so the hearing request is not complete. If you pay the citation by the deadline, 6/1/23, the hearing can be granted in accordance with ********** Vehicle Code.

If you have any further questions, please contact ************.

      Thank you, Citation Processing Center

      Hello,

The problem is that the waiver form isn't available anywhere - it wasn't mailed, it isn't available online.

Regardless, I paid the citations - I would like a hearing as Tahoe PD advised several times that the car would not be towed or ticketed.

      Thank you,

      Hello,

Your phone hearing will be scheduled and you will be mailed the schedule letter with the hearing details. One citation has not yet gone through the first level review by the issuing agency so that was placed on hold for that review process.

What does it mean that the citation has not gone through the first level of review by the issuing agency?

What do I need to do to appeal the citation?

I received a violation on 12/9/22, had it corrected at the ************ Civic Center by an OC Sheriff and mailed the correction along with the $10 check to cover the fee less than 15 days after receiving the violation. I just received a notification via mail saying the fee is now $86 an I could face vehicle impoundment, registration restrictions, and tax refund attachment because payment wasn't received. I called to discuss this as I sent payment and correction and did not get a call back for 24+ hours. On that call they continue to reinforce that, unless I have proof that the check was deposited by them, that I didn't pay and have to pay additional penalties. I then received a callback from a manager ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* When I originally tried to pay online, they said I could not because I needed to show proof of correction. I then asked if I could go in person as I am less than 15 minutes from the address listed and they do not allow that. So they're pointing blame at the post office for losing the mail and I am liable for the penalty for their requirement.A business like this should allow for reasonable methods of correction and/or payment that allow for concrete proof of correction while eliminating opportunity for outside party influence. Their service, processes, and overall strategy is to get you off the phone as quickly as possible and have no interested in serving the community that they were hired to serve

      Hello,

We have passed along your complaint to the issuing agency to determine if they will waive late fees as the mailed information you stated was sent was not received. Should we hear back from the agency if they'll allow late correction and payment, we will pass that information along. As of now, all the Citation Processing Center can do is state the amount due is due to be paid in full.

      Thank you,

I received an intercept funds notice that doesn't belong to me. This was an awful surprised that the citation processing center took money ($83) out of my state tax! The ticket given was to a vehicle I have never own, they told me to get a vehicle record from the *** to start the appeal process. The dmv wouldn't give me a vehicle record because the vehicle was NEVER in my name! So how did they get to garnish funds without proper documentation?!The citation #P1014006 it happened on 5/6/2018!! Clearly, this person is not me. I am stuck! The citation processing center does not pick up the phone!
