The subject business was contacted for a service call regarding the heater not working. The technician stated theres numerous issues with the heater and a/c and told the customer he could get his supervisor to give the customer an estimate. The field supervisor ***** provided the customer with an estimated to replace the system for about $19,000. Subsequently the customer called another business to get a second opinion. The new technician arrived, found there were two wires disconnected and didnt find anything else wrong with the system.

The ****** scheduled an appointment for March 4 because their furnace was not working. Our technician arrived to the NO HEAT call and did a full check on the equipment. The technicians found multiple areas of concern so much so that he asked for his supervisor to come join him to take a look at the furnace with him to make sure that the furnace would be safe to operate if they can fix it. Once the furnace was fully reviewed, it was recommended that the system be replaced due to over-amping motors, and also physical oil leaks coming from the motor, along with other issues, such as a stressed heat exchanger. Or technician documented and has photo evidence of these issues. The ****** had agreed to get the system replaced and ordered and scheduled for the new equipment. Mrs. ****** even gave our technician a five star review on ******. The next day we were advised that Mrs. ***** was ill,and needed to reschedule the installation. Shortly after, we started receiving aggressive phone calls into the office and to our field Supervisor who was out at the house by a friend of the ******, accusing us of sabotaging the equipment and pulling wires. Their friend also threatened that he was going to file a complaint against us. The friend was extremely aggressive and abusive over the phone against our employees, saying that we were the ones that broke the furnace, and that we were refusing to refund the deposit on the system replacement, which was the furthest from the case. The deposit was refunded. We wanted to make sure the ****** were sure about not moving forward with the install. We were not going to go off a friends forceful demand. We wanted full communication from the ****** directly so there was no confusion. The friend was not involved at all in regards to the visit, the diagnostics, and everything that transpired between us and the homeowner. How he got involved in this, we do not know.

******, guilty of attempted elder abuse! After years of paying for their service/maintenance contract, they inspected my 90 year old Mom's system and told me it was showing signs of imminent failure: "Rusted and cracked evap coil", "soft spots" on the furnace heat exchanger tubing that could lead to carbon monoxide in the home, a fan motor "rusted out and leaking oil", the condenser "pulling high amps" and therefore going to fail. They recommended replacing the entire system for a "discounted" price of $24,000!! These scare tactics and dire warnings had my Mom worried and resigned to having to pay. After he delivered a well rehearsed speech about all this, he asked me "SO, what do you think?" - as if it was a negotiation and he was a used car salesman trying to assess my finances. After I called my trusted local guy for a second opinion, he found NONE of these symptoms, confirmed that fan motors have NO oil, and noted that the system simply needed some coolant. Total repair: $500 I am disgusted with ****, (or should it be "CON"?), and will never trust them.
