Thank you for contacting us, but I think you might have ** confused with another creditor. Persolve does not have any business with ************** and is not reporting any credit line for **************. I do show that we are reporting on an auto deficiency for a Bridgrest loan that we currently own. I do show you requested validation in August of 2022 and that we sent you the validation on August 25, 2022. We are happy to discuss this with you and options in resolving this. I have repeatedly disputed this with the credit bureaus. I have sent over police reports and additional documents. Im am a victim of family violence mental, emotional financial and physical abuse. This vehicle purchased by my ex abuser while I was under distress and being forced into doing things against my will. I have been contacting this horrible company for years trying to have it removed. Ive sent document after document yet nothing has changed. At this point my next step is to file a lawsuit against persolve for reporting inaccurate information on my credit reports! I recently sent a letter to the credit bureau to remove the dispute because at this point I am going to hire an attorney to file against you all.Business response

We are in receipt of your complaint filed on June 5, 2023. We are unable to waive your debt, but are willing to work with you. In your original letter to ** from December 13, 2020, you ask for the loan to be forgiven due to the fact you had COVID, you were unemployed, and you were only receiving ***** unemployment assistance. We understand that you might not be able to pay back the entire loan at once, but we are willing to work with you to come up with a payment plan at a lesser amount.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the unethical practices of Persolve, LLC to address fraudulent collections on my credit report. In 2018, my identity was stolen and several accounts were opened using my information, including a credit card with a balance of $5,000. I contacted the issuing bank and was assured the debt would be cleared.In 2021, I began receiving calls and letters from Persolve LLC demanding payment for this fraudulent debt. Despite providing proof that the debt was not mine and that I was a victim of identity theft, they refused to remove it from my credit report. As a result, I was denied refinancing for my home, student loans for my daughter's education, and personal credit cards. As a CEO of a company, I was also unable to obtain a corporate card or small business loan.I have made numerous attempts to dispute the fraudulent collection with TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, but they have failed to take any action to remove it from my credit report. Despite providing evidence of my identity theft, Persolve LLC has continued to claim that the debt is mine and has refused to remove it from my credit report.In August 2022, I hired a lawyer and paid $3,000 to resolve this issue, but Persolve LLC still refuses to cooperate. I have lost over $120,000 due to their inaction, which has prevented me from accessing my home equity and obtaining credit for my personal and business needs. I have now been forced to sell my home to get my equity out, as I can not be approved for a home equity loan because of Persolve, LLC. Another company seeking to receive nearly $25,000, ************ due to the same identity fraud has closed my case and resolved the issue.I simply want this fraudulent collection to be removed from my credit report and the case closed. I have tried all other mechanisms to seek a resolution and I am still being held hostage by them while continuing to experience the same financial hardships.Business response

We are currently working with ****************** Attorney to find a reasonable solution. Her fraud claim is being taken seriously and we are investigating the claim. As soon as the investigation has been completed we will let her Attorney know. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the appropriate action will be taken.
