I noticed a $20 charge on my Bank Account from **************, they have been charging my card $20 a month for 5 months, I just noticed. I have never used or even heard of this company before now. I contacted their customer service and they indicated that they would refund my $100 and cancel my account. They have not refunded my money. I have never done business with this company. I canceled that debit card and got a new one from my bank.

On the first of May, I authorized a one dollar fee for a property record. That is all. It is not a property I own and will not buy. I was attempting to find its history. On the 3rd of May my account was charged ***** dollars, for what I do not know and did not authorize.

On 1 May 2025, I was reviewing my monthly charges for the corporate invoice and noted a charge from a company named, *****************************. The charge on the bank account noted it will be a "recurring charge". I have not contacted this company or requested any information. I am receiving multiple mailers about companies that will assist with reducing your property taxes. I have not responded to any of them. Online it appears the company has had other complaints and charges $127 as a one-time payment or as installments. I want the charge filed on 15 Apr 2025 in the amount of $20.00 USD refunded and the recurrent charge to be stopped. I do not recall ever contacting this group. I would not have engaged this group for their service since I have a private realtor who I use for all property, property taxes, and other real estate services. Best regards,******** *** ***** MD

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I will contact my bank to reverse the charges and prevent any further changes.

It may be the company under question has been hacked or another group is intentionally creating this confusion and charges.

They should not just dismiss it but investigate further.  There are similar complaints online.  It this is not their company, they should attempt to identify the stop the problem.

    Sincerely,

    ******** *****

I was charged Feb for a service I didnt use and I was unable to get help from company so I reached out to my bank. My bank fixed it and I was charged again as soon as I got off the phone with my bank. So I reached out to the company for the 3rd time and they fixed the new one and my bank took it as they fixed the old one from Feb. so Im still owed ******************************************* Yes they fixed march charges but not February. It was odd that I was charged right after complaining about the first charge on Feb 5th then charged on march 2nd soon as I fixed February. I got rude customer service from ********************** rec I even got hung up on by a woman who wouldnt state her name.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am writing on behalf of Property-Records.net to address a recurring issue regarding complaints we have received through your platform over the past two years.

************ Property-Records.net, provides optional property profile reports to new homeowners. We operate by sending a no-obligation offer letter, and we clearly state that the service is voluntary. We charge a one-time fee for the report if a customer chooses to purchase it. We do not offer or charge any monthly subscription services.

However, we have noticed a pattern where consumers filing complaints on BBB mistakenly believe they are interacting with our company, when in fact they are referring to a different business with a similar name: ***************. That business appears to charge customers on a recurring, subscription basis, which we do not.

We respectfully ask that the BBB notes this distinction in our business profile, so that potential consumers and complaint reviewers understand that Property-Records.net:

    Only offers a one-time purchase;

    Does not offer subscriptions.

Is not affiliated in any way with ****************************** or any other similarly named company.

We greatly value our reputation and work hard to provide transparent and optional services to our customers. We are happy to provide any further documentation or clarification if needed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We appreciate your help in ensuring consumers are accurately informed.

    Sincerely,

    Property-Records.net

Just noticed a charge to my credit card for $30 from PROPERTYRECORDCOM. I have never used this service. I called the number associated with the charge to find out what was going on. I was immediately answered with Do you wish to close this account? I tried to find out when and why there had been a charge; I do not recall ever having set up such an account. All I got was the same question over and over. I believe this is a scam and am concerned about how they got my credit card info and that they may make a charge again under another name.

I, like other people on this feed, am now being charged a recurring $20 a month fee from ****************************** out of my bank account. This is a deceptive charge that I did not approve and I want to be refunded $20 and I want my "subscription" disconnected from their site. I went through an online portal saying I could cancel, in the end it said to check my email because it would email me a cancellation link but no such email ever arrived.

    Dear ***** *****,

We believe there may be some confusion, as it seems you have mistaken our company for another business named ********************************, which charges a monthly fee. Our company is not affiliated with them in any way.

We only charge a one-time fee for our property profile reports. Our service is completely optional, and the letter we send clearly states multiple times that homeowners are not obligated to pay. If someone is not interested, they can simply disregard the letter.

We hope this clears things up. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly.

    1. The site provides false information about the ownership of my home. When I complained they were unwilling to correct their false record. Due to their false records I keep recieving mail addressed to a person who has no connection with me or my home.2. They advertise access to their website for $1 using a credit card. However this is a scam because they then attempt to fraudulently make a monthly charge of $20.
