Their denturist gets a d- they do not make good dentures. If I could, I would return the crappy dentures that they made me and have new ones made.Thier Doctors don't listen. I went in for a work injury, + the doctor wrote on the paperwork about my old injuries. Not for the injury I was there for. So now I have to make another appointment, but I don't want to make it with the same doctor. And this is a time-sensitive thing. Now I'm going to have to take more time off of work. I ran out of my syringes for my diabetes insulin, and they tell me that my ** order ran out. So I'm going to have to skip doing my insulin for a few days until the new order comes in. Then I'll have to make another trip back there to get them.Review from MANINDER SINGH S

November 2024-******, *********Kaiser was excellent not any more. They are good only if you need basic care with a PCP. God forbid if you need to see a specialist, forget it. It will take you months to get an appointment and you might as well pay from your own pocket and see one. They are trying their level best to get PCP's to take care of everything and are a complete disaster.Premiums keep going up while service has gone from being bad to worse. They need to be investigated for putting patient's lives in danger. Thanks ********Review from Rod E

KAISER WILL LIE TO YOU AND PLAY GAMES! DONT WAIT, FILE A GRIEVANCE ONLINE WITH KP (******, search for grievance) AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ONE WITH THE ***** It only takes a few minutes, and you will get results. ** is required by law to give a Mental Health appointment within 10 days per California law. *************** T** 10, ******* - Network Access Appointment Waiting Time Standards; ****************** Disclosure and Education. I have confirmed skin cancer and Kaiser told me there are no appointments available to treat me. I was advised to call every Monday at 8 AM to attempt to get an appointment. They can’t even schedule me for an appointment months away. In the meanwhile, my cancer is progressing. This company is literally killing people in order to avoid spending money on hiring an adequate amount of service providers. If you want to pay for insurance you can’t use, choose Kaiser.Review from Ashley H

Kaiser does not care about their patients. Back in 2021, I was given permission to see an out of network counselor due to in-network counselors not having availability and being on a waitlist for 6 months. This was not my wish or suggestion. I was told to do this. They then allowed me to establish a relationship with this person and renewed previous authorizations for care with this provider. But with no notice, I applied for a reauthorization two months ago and was denied. I appealed this decision noting the significant stressors in my life (e.g., step father dying from Alzheimers, the effects of a family member dealing with addiction, a diagnosis of PTSD that causes daily symptoms and greatly effects my life) and the positive impact this provider has had with me. But they upheld the denial stating that I can find an in-network provider. Again, they do not care about you. I know they have every right to deny my out of network service as I have an HMO plan, but is that the humane thing to do? No. This is absolutely negatively impacting my mental health on top of all the other stressors I have. I already feel overloaded, stressed, and like life is too much daily and now I have to deal with the appeals process, find a new mental health counselor in-network, and go through the time to inform my new counselor of my history and current issues. Kaiser, you are awful. You will no longer have my business. My open enrollment is next month and I will be moving insurance companies come January.Review from Matt R

Kaiser conducts fraudulent billing.I went in for a test and was told I had a $600 co-pay, which I paid on the spot.Subsequently received a bill for an INCREMENTAL $1300! I was given zero information in advance to these costs, or an explanation as to why they existed. Total fraud with no recourse to contest the costs that Kaiser frankly just made up out of thin air.Review from Wanda L

Kaiser Permanente customer service on the phone **** are the worst imaginable. You can forget expecting to ever be transferred and get to the right department 3 1/2 hours 23 calls not to mention repeatedly transfers so approximately 50 different people spoke to 3 1/2 hours and still got nowhere . All due to a fake called made to me on 9/26/24 I was called by a specialty appointment center desk to make an appointment that I had missed due to not being able to rely on their reminder notices.I I was very surprised when the specialty appointment center desk actually called me out of the blues after I was already told that it would take me a month and a half to reschedule. I spoke of File a complaint on that response so I was quite excited they were so extremely out of the unusual willing to fit me in anytime on my own scheduling which just stunned the heck out of me little did I know when it comes to time for my appointment I called them to confirm my appointment the day before I was under the impression my appointment was just to find out I did not have an appointment at all. So I guess you could say Im not sure who called me but I do know it absolutely was from Kaiser because it said Kaiser on my phone so who knows what kind of games were being played and at a very extreme degree of games playing played to pretend as though they were going to set me up an appointment even on whatever my schedule was they would fit me in thought that was extremely rare well of course it was but never had I ever thought that they would actually play games like that with me now that Ive been trying to get a hold of a manager that was 3 1/2 hours of phone calls Monday morning 23 calls later and two days later that I finally get a returned the call not the manager that I had request umpteen amount of times. Could this joke on me be any bigger than it already is with Kaiser yes Im sad to say yes it couldReview from Christopher S

Earlier this year, I went to a Kaiser Hospital in ********* because i was having a recurring pain very few minutes under my right arm. I spoke with the doctor for 30 seconds who said it was simply a pinched nerve and that I should go home and not worry about. Never even got out a stethoscope. For that 30 second visit, they billed me $1,100. When I complained, they sent me several iterations of slight-adjusted form letters letting me know what my deductible is, etc. I pay these guys about 10K/year for coverage. I never have costs other than an annual physical. Then when I have a complaint, they can't even take the trouble to make a phone call. From a service point of view, a pathetically run organization. Will be happy to dismiss then at the end of our term.Review from Gail G

On July 14th I took 2 covid home test that was positive. I called the Kaiser number to ask for a prescription of paxlovid (as I had taken It a couple years ago for Covid). I was then told I had to go in for blood work for the prescription. When I called ask where I needed to go the person who answered the phone as rude and told me not to come into the facility if I had Covid. So I emailed the *** and she told me to go into the lab for the bloodwork. I received an explanation of care summary and there is a $108.00 charge for a visit coded *****. I called the 1 800 number on the parcel. I spoke to ******* on August 28th. He advised me that I would get a call back from Kaiser within 5 business days. Today (Sept 6) I did not get a call back. I called today and was told that I would need to contact the doctor as she is the person who charged it. I have emailed the *** and am now waiting for a resolution to remove the charge. I pay $680.00 a month for ******** and am struggling to pay this each month. I dont understand the way they charge for a clerical or visit procedure and **** it as a Doctor *****.Review from Jagjot K

They gave me surgery date on august 16 for fibroid removal but cancel it . Firstly doctors were not able to find problem why i am having severe sharp pain during period and blood in my p*** But in march emergency department found a 12 cm of fibroid back to my uterus . It squeezed my uterus and became it almost flat. I couldnt walk properly as this fibroid putting pressure on my back as it is mostly in the center of bellybutton. I approached to case management they are like they are like i have to wait for another 8 months. More severe is my surgeon and case management team sounds like same they do surgery when they see they cannot stop someone bleeding or someone having or severe case. So, they me to get ill severely then they will help me out. I have visited emergency atleast 7 to 9 times as i pee is leaking i use pad every day having blood in my ****, heavy breathing. Every time just gave me pain killer that is it . I had depression last year it seems i am going to have it again. They disturb my mental health. They dont consider me as a human
