1 starWhat a joke! I cant wait to be put on ******** so I can actually get appointments, talk to a clinic on the phone and get decent care like my mother. There is nothing positive I can say about their process.Review fromKathleen F

1 starThe doctors I have seen at Kaiser in ******/******** , ********** were great with the exception of Dr. ******** in ********. I would be in a wheelchair right now if he were still my doctor. I had RA for 10 years, deteriorating every day in front of his eyes. I finally changed doctors and got the help that I needed. I would not suggest him as a doctor to anyone!Review fromRyan K

1 starDr. ******* ***** wrote outright lies in my permanent record. Having to spend over $2350 on reasonable care outside of her network of Kaiser associates. Does not review records with clients. Does not review anything. When called out, she skipped her lunch that day just to update my file with more wild assertions. When proven wrong, she switches goalposts. Stammers when caught. Doesn't have a grasp, only an opinion. Doesn't establish a trajectory with her clients, only a brief skimming of your ********** took 4 hours of time to unravel what she did and thats not even fixing the Kaiser records. I have to get my old psych involved. I've been disrespected and had my time and money wasted.******* is a bad psychiatrist because she is inaccurate. There's just no two ways to say it. If your beliefs are inaccurate, your assessment is also inaccurate. I never abused my medications, *******. You're just wrong. You wrote lies about me that are backed up with Kaiser test results, which you don't care about. You wrote lies about me having a "history of violence." You are bad at your job. How do you sleep at night?Seeing ******* as a psych has caused me physical and emotional distress. I don't feel that Kaiser Mid-Atlantic can be trusted. I don't feel that Kaiser ****************** about their clients. I know for a fact that neither enough time nor understanding were applied to my case. I feel dismissed. I feel insulted. I feel like I would have been better off having never experienced her version of care, which includes stating I probably have BRAIN DAMAGE with nothing at all to back that up. No receipts. Nothing but a hunch.I asked about a diagnosis for autism. I've had clear symptoms since I was a toddler. My particular **** symptoms also align with that. ******* ASSERTED THAT I SHOULD ONLY GO AFTER A DIAGNOSIS IF IT WOULD FINANCIALLY BENEFIT ME. Understand exactly what I said. A doctor. A medical doctor told me that.I'm here for care, not ulterior motives, *******.Review fromMonica A

1 starReview on Kaiser mental health, specifically Dr **** *****.I'* a ***** healthy corporate professional and spent 2 years being gaslit and treated like garbage by Kaiser. If you have the option to avoid Kaiser I can't stress enough on taking it. I pay more with a different insurance provider but my quality of life has dramatically changed.Dr **** *****: While attempting to look at her POV, I'm unsure if she takes her Kaiser frustration out on her patients or just legitimately hates her career. I'm aware of the irresponsible restrictions Kaiser is placing on mental health professionals but her conduct is inhumane and dangerous. Without knowing the background of her reviews l'd gamble my life savings on there accuracy. I spoke with Dr **** ***** during the most vulnerable and dark time in my life. I felt unheard, attacked, and as if my issues don't matter after the interaction. I wish I had the knowledge, time, and understanding to have her license reviewed or investigated as I believe she does more harm than good. My heart breaks for her patients and anyone who's only medical option is Kaiser Permanente.Review fromBelinda O

1 starTerrible that there is NO way to get a hold of doctor or nurse urgently. If a medication needs to be ordered or switched youre up to the mercy of the 2-3 DAY messaging system. Absolutely terrible!! Or the other option is urgent care!!! All bout getting more money!Review fromSandy T

2 starsTheir denturist gets a d- they do not make good dentures. If I could, I would return the crappy dentures that they made me and have new ones made.Thier Doctors don't listen. I went in for a work injury, + the doctor wrote on the paperwork about my old injuries. Not for the injury I was there for. So now I have to make another appointment, but I don't want to make it with the same doctor. And this is a time-sensitive thing. Now I'm going to have to take more time off of work. I ran out of my syringes for my diabetes insulin, and they tell me that my ** order ran out. So I'm going to have to skip doing my insulin for a few days until the new order comes in. Then I'll have to make another trip back there to get them.Review fromMANINDER SINGH S

1 starNovember 2024-******, *********Kaiser was excellent not any more. They are good only if you need basic care with a PCP. God forbid if you need to see a specialist, forget it. It will take you months to get an appointment and you might as well pay from your own pocket and see one. They are trying their level best to get PCP's to take care of everything and are a complete disaster.Premiums keep going up while service has gone from being bad to worse. They need to be investigated for putting patient's lives in danger. Thanks ********Review fromRod E

1 starKAISER WILL LIE TO YOU AND PLAY GAMES! DONT WAIT, FILE A GRIEVANCE ONLINE WITH KP (******, search for grievance) AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ONE WITH THE ***** It only takes a few minutes, and you will get results. ** is required by law to give a Mental Health appointment within 10 days per California law. *************** T** 10, ******* - Network Access Appointment Waiting Time Standards; ****************** Disclosure and Education. Also, if they give you the run a round, insist on speaking with a supervisor.********************************************************Review fromDani S

1 starI have confirmed skin cancer and Kaiser told me there are no appointments available to treat me. I was advised to call every Monday at 8 AM to attempt to get an appointment. They can’t even schedule me for an appointment months away. In the meanwhile, my cancer is progressing. This company is literally killing people in order to avoid spending money on hiring an adequate amount of service providers. If you want to pay for insurance you can’t use, choose Kaiser.Review fromAshley H

1 starKaiser does not care about their patients. Back in 2021, I was given permission to see an out of network counselor due to in-network counselors not having availability and being on a waitlist for 6 months. This was not my wish or suggestion. I was told to do this. They then allowed me to establish a relationship with this person and renewed previous authorizations for care with this provider. But with no notice, I applied for a reauthorization two months ago and was denied. I appealed this decision noting the significant stressors in my life (e.g., step father dying from Alzheimers, the effects of a family member dealing with addiction, a diagnosis of PTSD that causes daily symptoms and greatly effects my life) and the positive impact this provider has had with me. But they upheld the denial stating that I can find an in-network provider. Again, they do not care about you. I know they have every right to deny my out of network service as I have an HMO plan, but is that the humane thing to do? No. This is absolutely negatively impacting my mental health on top of all the other stressors I have. I already feel overloaded, stressed, and like life is too much daily and now I have to deal with the appeals process, find a new mental health counselor in-network, and go through the time to inform my new counselor of my history and current issues. Kaiser, you are awful. You will no longer have my business. My open enrollment is next month and I will be moving insurance companies come January.
