I would like to say that my experience with Pure has been horrible. I 1st purchased a Stage 2 turbo for a N55 engine for my 2014 *** 535i in February 2021. Less then a year later the turbo failed and broke apart. One night while driving to my home i heard a loud "clunk" and when applying pressure to the gas petal i was getting no response along with a whole lot of white smoke. I then had to tow my car to ************* to find out what happened. After further investigation i was shown by ****************** that there was a crack in the casing of the turbine which caused it to fail/shatter and send metal shards throughout my engine. This lead me to having to buy a whole new engine and other parts. After reaching out to Pure Turbo to get a replacement as to our agreement, I was directed to a ******* and he ensured me that a new Turbo would be sent to me once they received the turbo that failed. I sent the broken turbo to them immediately. They then sent me a replacement turbo shortly after. Once receiving the turbo i had Corsa install it right along with the new engine. I finally received my car back to just have the same thing happen to me again with the turbo in less then 4 months. Now after speaking with ***** again i was told that they have a source that uses Pure Turbos for alot of their cars, and they are blowing up left and right. After hearing this i didnt want to reach back out to Pure Turbo considering that their product will just fail again. I am now going back to my OEM turbo until i get all this figured out. Dont buy Turbos from Pure. They will explode randomly within a few months. 1st time: I had to replace my engine which cost me $11,600 altogether with parts and labor ($6,900 for the engine). 2nd time: I'm replacing the turbo with an OEM turbo and it cost $4,500 altogether with parts and labor ($1,890 for OEM Turbocharger)
