I purchased a car the repo it be being one day late she promised me to give my car back and once I was ready to make the payment it she told me the full balance was due I explained my medical emergency and they still didnt care I just need some resolution because there giving me a hard timeInitial Complaint

Hi,My complaint is with Blackfish Capital. I finished paying my car off with them back in 7/2023. They said it would take a few weeks to receive my pink slip. I was contacted on 10/23 by them stating I had stopped a payment of $191.00 and that's why my pink slip hadn't been sent out. I told them that had to be an error on their end, as I confirmed with my bank. We have been going back and forth since 10/23. I finally spoke to ******************** (Financial Recovery Representative ) on 1/24 regarding this issue and she agreed none of it made sense. She was trying to help me get this amount waived. She said she needed 2 supervisors to sign off on it. Mid January **** she said she had only 1 signature and was waiting for the 2nd. I stopped hearing from her after i followed up with many calls and voicemails because I need my pink slip. Today 2/3/24, I received a call from ****** (he said he was a supervisor). He said he was one of the supervisors who signed to waive the amount but changed his mind and is threatening to have my car picked up and hung up on me. I called a few more times and he kept hanging up.My vehicle has been paid for and this company is looking to steal my car. I'm unsure they waited to contact me until 10/23 if there was an issue. I spoke with my bank plenty of times and have confirmed there's been no transaction cancelation for that amount or any type of payment cancelation with Blackfish Capital. I would appreciate if I could get help with getting my pink slip without having to pay $191 + Late fees (I believe total is $123). I can't afford this, especially after I've already paid this vehicle off. Thank you for your time. ****************Initial Complaint

This company is the worst ever. They over charged me and lies about the finance amount after I already had the car. I would pay my payment and within days they call and want more money. Then they came and repo the car and there's no record of it nor is it on my credit. I wasn't even behind in payments and they still come and took my car. When you repo a vehicle shouldn't there be record of it? Then they have the nerve to call and ask me to drop off the keys to them? Whatever you do don't buy a vehicle that's financed through Them!! My girlfriend *************************** came to visit me and out daughter and she was late on a payment and they repo her car. She was sent a binding contract that she has till Nov 19,2023 to pay the balance and she came up with the money and they wont release her because they said she moved to ******* when she was just visiting her daughter that she has not seen in a long time. She has the money and they are refusing to release the property.Initial Complaint

I seriously cant continue to finance through them. They are super rude and doesnt work with anybody. They threaten to repo your car even when you make a half payment trying to say youre late as if you giving them even 200 is a choice that we want to do. Were giving our last. On 6/15/2023 ***************** told me that a deferment that I was *****ed due to hardship was being taking away *********************************** the stipulations of the deferment she said she would ***** it and she then told me I shouldnt pay my carnote cause shes not going to take it off tow unless I give them 3carnots for ***** may and June and I would have been more prepared if id known she would take the deferment away due to my waiting past 30days to pay my following carnote its causing more difficulties to keep up due to this Ive had several people call me and tell me means things over the phone and its scaryInitial Complaint

I have called blackfish company twice in the last two days regarding my vehicle that they are financing. I have a partial payment that is due for my car note which is $235. I paid $175 payment last week to show good faith that I am going to make my payment. I had a situation occurred this morning where my vehicle was impounded so I have to pay the impound fees which is $300, I contacted blackfish Capital and I let them know about the situation. I asked them and explain to them please I will make the remaining payment next week. I am only a week past due for my payment and these people tell me well we can go get it from the impound lot if we want to. If you dont make the payment by the end of today we can go get your car. They have no understanding of people situation. They have no sympathy no remorse for just wanting the money and not understanding that people do not have extra money lying around for some situations like this and in my case, I dont have a car payment plus my insurance plus the impound fees to pay everything and these people have the audacity to tell me that Im going to have to worry about me walking out of my house to go to my car to go to work or to go do anything I may need to do this next week and have to worry about my vehicle not being there she told me yeah thats what youre going to have to worry about Im not sure who I spoke to but that is unbelievable you people are cruel you people have no understanding you people need to have some feeling and understanding that people in this world need help sometimes and you as a finance company should understand that and if a payment is only a week past due and the person is showing good faith by making a partial payment, how are you not going to except a partial payment and agree OK yes you can go ahead and and pay it next week . That is unbelievable. Unbelievable you people. And I promise that if my vehicle gets impounded because you want to come get it, youre getting sued.Initial Complaint

I bought 08 Mercury grand marquis ****** 8 2022 since I bought this car. On April 4 2023 a representative calls my phone stating that I have to pay ***** more than my original monthly payment which is 2***** the so call reason for this she says," because I signed a CPI document stating I have to have full coverage on this car to operate on the road. I have the contract with blackfish and it never stated this or, have I ever heard of anything like this. If anything they should lower my payments to ****************************************************************** The picture of this car when displayed only showed small paint damages but we're bigger when I arrived, also window issues and tires that wasn't drivable they lied about fixing both issues but curved my phone calls I fixed the problems myself ...Initial Complaint

I was recently let go from my job due to health issues. This triggered a domino effect in my payments for my car. Ultimately they raised my original car note amount from $547 to $647 without my permission due to my car insurance expiring. My account began to become delinquent due to my financial obligations and responsibilities. I informed them that I will be behind for ******* payment due to this. They told me to make good faith payments to show that Im actually paying on the car and Im becoming current . I gotten it down from $1500 behind to $505 (less than my monthly payment) within two weeks . I informed them my check for my new job doesnt come until march 3rd and they can expect a payment of $1k but they are refusing payment now even with two recent payments of another $1k was made on February 2nd and 10th. They call and harass me everyday at my job to pay them money or they will personally come to pick up my car.its cause me to be emotionally disturbed due to the constant harassment and calling for one payment lateInitial Complaint

In accordance to the Fair Credit Reporting.Everything has to be 100% accurate on my credit report. All 3 Credit Bureaus have not reported this account, leaving a discrepancy. in my credit report making the information reported to my credit report inaccurate since it was falsely reported to each credit Bureau which has violated my rights.15 U.S. Code **** section 602 A States i have the right to privacy 15 U.S. Code **** section 2 604 A It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions
