At first I was super happy with their service and professionalism, then I realized it was a front for selling faulty cars. If you look at the lower and more recent reviews you find the level of faulty vehicles you would find at a used car lot. The *** I bought at first seemed in ok condition, it was indeed a used car. Within the first TWENTY miles off the lot my 2015 M4 had two spark plugs fail, and an engine misfire. I also within the last week have taken to car to a real mechanic, who came back and let me know that they cleared all the codes, but potentially didnt actually do the work. They also proved that none of the problems have been created within the last month by me the laying chromed, and that instead they either unintentionally or intentionally sold a defunct vehicle whose computer had been cleared of showing faults. This would lead me to believe they knew there was problems and sold the car anyways. We were able to pull up past codes that had popped up, and all of them had been cleared. Since then (3 weeks) this what has broken on the vehicle, please email me for pictures as I can provide them all. Mind you this was after the owner and technician said the car had been looked over.-Spark Plugs -THE ENTIRE AC UNIT(including condenser and compressor)- two speakers -Tail light and fuse board for a couple of the electronics - My transmission failed and am currently looking at trading it in at *** dealership - Owner said that he changed the oil, yet the oil was quite old and in poor condition.Mind you this came after ***** the owner swore it was in fantastic condition. One month people, one month!

the vehicle was sold as is, there was no extended warranty purchased with the vehicle and we check all our vehicles and smog them before they get sold, we dont know how the customer has driven the car after they left the lot

      Customer response

      07/18/2024

I am rejecting this response because:

The argument that it was smogged would not hold up on two accounts on the fact that this shop firstly did not supply any smog certifications or receipts. Secondly smog test checks for basic things and in many instances is an eye test. The problems I have had with my vehicle are not from user error. As a reminder here is the list of thinks that have broken and High Class Auto has stated as being my fault.

      - Entire A/C unit including the condenser and compressor has failed. (Quoted at $3,200)

      - The transmission pan, filter, sensor, and fluid all need to be replaced (quoted at $3,500)

      - The upper coolant and vent hose, along with the liner. Also the coolant expansion tank. (Quoted at $1,700)

A smog will not catch transmission faults, coolant leaks, or improper circuits. The business has completely avoided the proof that there was a history of cleared codes on the vehicles computer.

This means that High Class Auto went in and cleared the vehicle codes, without actually fixing the problem. It is highly illegal to clear codes for faults in a vehicle and sell as in good working condition without fixing the underlying problem.

When you buy from this company beware and take the vehicle if they allow to a dealership. From there the dealership can look at the history and view what codes have been cleared on the computer. Complete scam that the vehicle has created over $9,000 in repairs that were odiously covered up in the first place.

      Business response

      07/18/2024

Even if you clear codes smog station machine catches the codes, and you test drove the vehicle multiple times and an no point were you pressurized into the sale, you had the ** on while the test drive as well so at that time everything was in perfect working condition.

Hello, my name is ***** ***************************, and I recently purchased a vehicle from High Class Auto Sales on 06/02/2024. I would like to discuss some serious issues regarding the purchase and financing of this vehicle.1. **Loan Documents**: I was not provided with a copy of the loan agreement and terms on the day I purchased the vehicle. I had to demand these documents from the dealership a few days later. This delay and lack of transparency are concerning.2. **Unauthorized Charges**: Upon receiving the loan documents, I discovered that the dealership added extra charges that I was not informed of at the time of signing. This constitutes a lack of proper disclosure.3. **Vehicle Condition**: The vehicle sold to me has significant issues. The dealership cleared all check engine lights instead of fixing the underlying problems. The check engine light came on less than 24 hours after the purchase, and subsequent repairs cost the dealership $2,700. Despite these repairs, the check engine light has come on again, indicating a different issue.4. **Misrepresentation**: The dealership misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and failed to inform me of the true nature of its problems. This is a serious misrepresentation and deception.Given these circumstances, I believe I have grounds to cancel the loan and return the vehicle. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter and would like to know the steps required to proceed with the cancellation of the loan. Can you please guide me on how to move forward with this? Since the dealer refuses to take the car back.

Right after delivery, I incurred a cost of $1,206 paid to **** Auto for repairs to the air conditioning and brakes (attatched). It is worth noting that the brake calipers had been painted, but the job was poorly done, resulting in overspray on the rotors and brake pads and compromised braking (photos attached).Regarding the vehicle's history, I was informed by Hash that it had two previous owners and relatively low mileage of approximately ****** miles. ******** I was not made aware that the vehicle was used as a rental for the first ****** miles, had been involved in a collision, and was subsequently sold at auction.**** mentioned that the vehicle had been in a minor accident while parked, affecting the driver's side front. ******** it is evident that the entire driver's side, from the front fender to the rear, has been repainted, suggesting more extensive damage. Despite ****'s assurance that he would provide photos of the damage, I have yet to receive them.Given my automotive background, I anticipate additional repairs may be necessary, such as addressing the humming noise from the transmission during deceleration, which remains unaddressed. In light of these factors, I propose we negotiate a lower payoff price for the vehicle that would be fair to both parties. While I understand you did not personally conduct the 430-point inspection that **** mentioned, it appears that critical aspects of the vehicle were overlooked.I would like to resolve this matter promptly and settle the payoff. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope we can reach a mutually agreeable solution.

We both (meaning buyer and seller) know that the agreed upon sales price for the car was $9,000. The seller informed me that the registration and sales tax totaled approx. $2,200. The seller then said "I will let the car out the door for $11,000." I agreed to that because those numbers added up. However, the sales tax and registration only totaled $999.95 In order for the seller to make up the difference in money, he changed the sales price on the paperwork to $10,000, thus making up the extra $1,000 that he wanted out of the car. SELLER KNOWS AGREED UPON SALES PRICE OF CAR WAS $9,000 + tax and registration. Seller can't show $2,000 in tax and registration so he put the extra $1,000 on purchase price in order to get the $11,000. PURCHASE PRICE WAS $9,000. I have a witness who was right there and heard it all.

      Customer response

      05/31/2024

I am rejecting this response because:  I knew that's what they would hang their hat on.  It's the only thing they have.  They don't have the ***** to come out and admit what they did.  How embarrassing for them that I caught them and am putting them on blast for it.  I only wish I had read the contract a little more thoroughly.  That's on me.  The agreed upon price for the car was $9,000 + tax and registration.  **** originally told me the tax and registration was $2,200. I believed that tax and registration was going to be $2,200, so when **** said $11,000 out the door, I agreed to it. However, he got me to agree to that amount under false pretenses. He outright lied about the price of the tax and registration.  The tax and registration only came to $995.95, so they changed the purchase price of the car to $10,000 in order to make the numbers come out to $11,000.  My boyfriend was right there. He heard both **** and I work out $9,000 for the car.  The car was at $9,500.  I asked for $9,000.  **** said "meet me half way at $9,250."  I said $9,000 and you have a deal, I have cash in the car. **** then agreed to $9,000 for the car plus tax and registration.  We both know it.  If "*****" replied to this complaint, he wasn't even there.  Me, my boyfriend and **** were there.  I wasn't asking for $11,000 back.  I was asking for the $1,000 they overcharged me by changing the purchase price of the car to $10,000 not the $9,000 we agreed upon  Notice how the only thing they can say is "she agreed to $11,000," never "we agreed to the purchase price of the car of $9,000 plus tax and registration."  I suggest that High Class provide the BBB the "estimate" that they originally showed me, but did not give me a copy of.  Of course they would fabricate that too.  As I stated in one of my many, many reviews of this place, this will be the costliest $1,000 you have ever taken from someone.  If just one person catches that $995 extra security BS that you add to the sales contract without them knowing because of me, then I have done my job.  If you lose one sale because of my reviews, I have done my job.  I will keep it up day and night because I know I am telling the truth.

I bought a truck from High Class Auto Sales on February 2024. They stated that everything was running fine with the truck , which in fact was not true. As soon as we made it back to town , the truck broke down . I tried contacting the ************ to see if they would be of any help and said to get it checked by a dealer to see how much the repair would be. I took it to our local GMC dealer here in ****, ** and they gave me an estimate of $11,000 to be able to fix it . They also noted that it looked like someone had already been working on on the truck as it had a brand new part installed but the bolts were all loose . Probably to keep it running for awhile. Afterwards , I tried multiple times to get in contact with High Class Auto sales and said that it wasn't their problem and they wern't going to be of any help and stopped answering and blocked my calls.

At this point, we are committed to resolving this matter promptly and amicably, and the owner of the dealership talked to you as well on the call to resolve this matter, unfortunately this vehicle was sold as is and you never purchased an extended warranty from us, many customers test drove that truck and never had a problem with it.

I have a complaint about safety I bought two cars from you guys a 2013 *** which I still have a $15000 loan on the vehicle and the engine makes a clicking noise and sits on my driveway and I making payments for a broken vehicle. the second vehicle I purchased was a 2015 ******** **** today I took it to an American Tire shop and bought 4 tires and when they went to install it, They came back to me and said for safety reasons we would not do it. Someone removed the Lug Nuts on all wheels and put studs and not safe at all they said you are lucky the tires never came off when you were driving. Well, I got my automobile sales certificate and I know as a dealership is your responsibility to check the breaks, seatbelts, and window wipers before selling any vehicle, and the customers are allowed to return the vehicle if has any of these problems. When I bought the car you guys took the car shop and told me to check the breaks and clean the car and some rust was on the wheels, if that is right you should know about these Mikey Mouse things they did, and a modified vehicle was sold to me without telling me. Now I'm asking you guys what you like to do with these two vehicle problems I am a not happy customer and complaining about your safety and quality, My family travels a lot with this car and we could have been killed because we were trust but they sold us an unsafe vehicle and with the *** the dealer told me to need a new engine $35000 dollars.

      Business response

      03/05/2024

I would like to clarify that the vehicle you purchased had original wheels installed, and no modifications were made to it. The sale date of that vehicle was January 8, 2023, which is over a year ago.

Regarding the **** upon purchase on March 1, 2022, which is two years ago, there were no known issues with the vehicle. Furthermore, you have an extended warranty in place which should cover any issues that *** arise.

      Customer response

      03/05/2024

I am rejecting this response because: the problem with my ******** **** is not the wheels is the lug nuts all 20 lug nuts is modified in very unprofessional way and used studs which I took it to American tire they not wants to put tires on because they said is not safe and is possible to loose tire when Im driving it, also they said is possible the studs be to tied and damaged others parts behind. I order the lug nuts from dealer cost me $500 and I have to pay labor to replace them too.
*** is not safe to drive because possibly lost engine , bad quality oil was the reason *** dealer told me.

I am rejecting this response because:

Under ************ used car lemon laws, a manufacturer or dealer must repurchase or repair the vehicle if it has a significant defect or cannot be repaired within a reasonable number of repair attempts. Also they not allowed to sale vehicles without checking the brakes! Did you check breaks on my vehicle before sale it? To order check breaks must be removed the wheels, did you did that? If you answer is yes that means you saw the Mickey ***** studs job and you sale it as is which is against the law. If not again is against the laws.  If I invest money to buy a car from you I was try to use this car normally like all other people buying cars not to open a junkyard in front my house and pay the monthly payment and you get the benefit, no Im sorry this country built on laws.

5/22/23 -purchased an extended warranty at the suggestion of the sales person. After having my car into the *** dealership on two different occasions I was told that the warranty is pretty much worthless and didn't cover any of my thousands of dollars in repairs. On 9/28/23 I contacted High Class Auto to have them cancel my warranty. After two weeks and numerous phone calls and a letter sent Priority Mail - I have yet to hear from them. Each time I called I spoke with ** whom informed me that **** (the only person that deals with the warranties) was either not in or on vacation. It's very obvious that they don't want to cancel the warranty due to them not getting all their money, but if this isn't resolved ASAP I won't have any other choice but to seek legal counsel.

All out vehicles come with *** GPS attached, there was a problem with that specific model and we understand various things can happen it is a technology that can have problems and because of that we refunded the customer for the *** GPS, as far as having a dent all our vehicles have over 40 detailed pictures on our website showing the condition of the vehicles, they can not be in perfect shape because all the vehicles we have for sales are used vehicles. We called the customer and made an agreement that we will refund the money for the *** GPS if she can kindly close the BBB complaint, but instead of doing that she went and left a review on yelp as well but we still refunded the money to her because we try to be as fair as possible.

Selected a car at the dealership, identified the damaged windshield on the driver's side. The dealership agreed to replace the windshield and added the request to the contract. Dealership stated that the windshield needed to be ordered and would get in contact with me once the windshield arrived. I called, emailed the salesman, called the person that drafted the contract, and even tried to communicate with the owner but I made no progress to rectifying or getting the dealership to honor their contractual agreement. The calls and emails fell on death ears, and I was at **** end so I tried to call their other location but that did not have any impact or by far get me closer to getting my vehicle windshield repaired. What I expect to hear from them is little or no effort to fulfill their contract obligations. Based on the filed complaints on record it appears the dealership is fully aware of how to get around their contractual obligations. All I'm seeking was for the dealership to advance me the cost to replace the damaged windshield per our agreement. Request the dealership to write me a check and mail it to my residence so that I can have a reputable business replace the damaged windshield with an OEM windshield. Sought out estimate, Safelite estimated at $1,685.00.The window replacement is not performed by this dealership, request the money and take the car to the appropriate business.

First, I would like to address that High-Class Auto Sales did not even address my request at all.  Secondly, to consider a response of acceptance or rejection High-Class Auto Sales must respond to the following:

I was directed to you because you are the dealership owner.

The car I purchased is a $50,000.00 dollar car and has an OEM windshield.  I cant understand why you refuse to agree to provide an OEM windshield replacement part for the 2018 *** M550i car purchased at your dealership.  Your dealership has not been forth coming and clear.  Your continued response of customer needs to bring it in for a replacement is not addressed or satisfied the concerns below.

I need the following validated in order to agree to a resolution.

Windshield replacement part must be an OEM part.
Date and Time of the replacement must be agreed upon by both parties.
I will take my vehicle to the company that will perform the work.

Or you can issue me a check to cover the cost of the windshield replacement.  In the amount of $1,600.00 (Safelite Auto Glass Estimate)

If you agree to replace the windshield with an OEM windshield you must provide the appointment for the replacement by email.  I will need to confirm the date and time for the replacement.  These terms must be met to move forward.  Im tired of this going back and forth all I want is to have my windshield fixed.

Received a letter in the mail stating that you received a response from the dealership that required my response with seven days.

I wanted to make one thing very clear, I have not taken my *** 550i xDrive to High Class Auto Sales. I have made it very clear that I would not take the vehicle without the dealerships email communicating that the *** part was available for installation.

The dealership location is out of my way and would not just "drive" to make an appointment onsite.  This is an out right lie from the dealership.

At this point, I'm asking for a full reimbursement of the window replacement. I have supporting documents that the dealership agreed to replace the window.  Since High Class Auto Sales has failed to make this happen.  At this point I just want to be compensated because I don't want time to just expire and not be compensated for the damaged windshield.

Here is what I want to do, take the car to Niello to have the windshield replaced and High Class  reimburse me for the replacement.

Attached a quote from ********** for the window. This is the amount that I' need reimbursement

BUYERS AND PEOPLE OUT OF STATE BEWARE I was in the process of buying a car Focus ST that's been on their lot for a year. I have been in contact with their sales team of **** and ****, and they haven't answered a single question about the car. They have strung me along telling me they are working behind the scenes on getting this deal done. I am an out of state buyer and I haven't even had anyone test drive the car and they are trying to go forward with their sale without any input from the consumer. They still hold 500$ of my money and refuse to refund me back. A few days ago I combed through their reviews which had made my decision fairly easy. I simply don't want to do business with a company that is so defensive in their trust and accountability. As of 4/22/2023 **** and her team owe me 500$ as the deal has fallen through. It looks like I have had the same exact problem as the guy three weeks ago. So they keep doing this and keep scamming people.Nobody actively listens at this company. I was talking with ***************** on their sales team and he wouldn't answer any questions just wanted to know when the credit app was complete. **** hasn't gotten me any information I have asked for such as if the specific vehicle I am inquiring about is stock or not.
