Date 2/3/25 Purchased a car for over 44K They delivered the car to me with a broken tail light. *** should have known this before delivery if they had done a proper inspection. When I drove it, all the error messages of the parking/camera,lights, chasiss sensors were malfunctioning. I kept telling the *** to fix ******* continued to give me the run around. I took work off to bring the car back, I confirmed the day with Hash/HCA that I was coming there to discuss resolution. ***** said Hash had an emergency. They declined for me to return the car. I spent so much time trying to have him fix these issues. They didnt want me to bring to ****** for they wanted someone they knew to fix it & cheaper. I waited more time with no resolution from HCA. I finally took the car to a certified ****** Dealership who did an inspection and they deemed it unsafe to drive and should have been probably totaled a long time ago. To start HCA/Hash told me there was only a minor accident & no frame damage, even when I signed the document they told me this was standard & car fax Iies. He swears & I have witness that he said no frame damage. I was under duress when i signed, they tricked me, they lied. If I knew what was really wrong I would have never bought the car. There was no truth to anything. There has been multiple accidents that werent disclosed. The whole under frame of the car is not supported. Welded frame, wood screws, epoxy, duct tape, zips ties, front and rear light not working & barely hanging on, transmission cracked in half and been rewelded, car parts from a different vehicle where manipulated to cover up damages, no supports & missing the whole underbelly of the car. Cracked frame in multiple places. The car is now at the ************** am out of a car I need to work. I commute 2 1/2 hrs each way & lucky to be alive. Once ****** told *** the damages exceed the value of the car HCA/Hash hung up. No resolution. Please help me. I just want my money back.Business Response

The vehicle was purchased AS IS (signed copy attached).
However, *** committed to replacing the taillight, which has been completed as per the signed We Owe agreement (attached).
Additionally, we have provided the customer with a $500 compensation (check copy attached) for any related expenses.
Thank You

I am rejecting this response because:
I have so many documents to upload to provide proof. Please tell me where else I can provide proof.
They lied. The car was never fixed, they gave it to me broken and stalled and mislead me. The 500 was for a car sales negotiation and forgot to write in my contract, so they sent me a check. I have text messages to proof this. I also have documents to prove that the car is a salvaged car and cant be driven. They didnt disclose things and its fraud.
They sold me an over 40k car that I can not drive. I have pictures and documents to prove all of this. The car was deemed unsafe for me to drive. Held together by zip ties, epoxy and wood screws and more.
Im begging you to really investigate this company. Please read their yelp reviews. I have a Police report and they are watching them. Selling salvaged cars and flipping them should be a crime. Their license should be revoked. I am a victim of fraud.
Please do the investigating, you will see they are a repeat offender. Enough is enough.

I had purchased my car in May ********************************************************************************** with aloan from my bank with a rate of 16% and when I arrived at the dealership and brought mine they said that they had a better one for me with a lower rate of 14% so I went ahead and Took that loan instead. A few months after purchasing the car, my tires became bald. My check engine light has turned on my battery is old, A few times I have gone to start my car and it wont turn on at all. I was finally able to get the car jumped and the battery is from when the Car was first made, theres always some sort of light on the dash. I had to get new windshield wipers and replace several things without me even having the car for a year. With all these problems happening, I went to trade the car in for something else so that I didnt have to deal with several different problems and pouring more money into the car than what its worth and found out that the car is actually a salvage title which I was not told upon purchasing.Business Response

We would like to clarify that the vehicle was sold as-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
At the time of sale, all necessary documentation, including the vehicle's title status, was fully disclosed to you and acknowledged during the signing process.
Regarding the financing, you voluntarily chose to proceed with the financing option we were able to secure for you, which offered a lower interest rate than the initial financing you arrived with.We facilitated this option to assist you, but the terms and conditions of the loan itself were fully disclosed by the lender at the time of signing. As for the wear-and-tear items such as tires, battery, windshield wipers, and other maintenance-related components, these are normal responsibilities that come with vehicle ownership, especially on pre-owned vehicles. These are not covered under any obligations by the dealership.
To reiterate, the vehicle was sold as-is, and there are no outstanding dues or responsibilities owed to you by the dealership.
We understand that vehicle ownership can come with unexpected repairs, especially on used vehicles, but we are not liable for any issues or repairs after the sale was completed.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2013 GS350 from High class Auto on 5/29/2024. Everything seemed in good order, as the car was presented to me with the engine warm and running. The next day I started the car from a cold start, I observed smoke coming from the tailpipe. Immediately, I contacted the dealer and explained the problem. They tried to explain it away as probably old gas. Over the next few days the problem got worse and the vehicle started to emit huge plumes of black smoke(intermittently). So, I took the car to my mechanic. He stated that the problem was internal in the engine and it would not pass smog. I got a second opinion from a machine shop who confirmed the same. After sending the dealer videos of the car smoking, the owner agreed to look at the car. When I dropped the car off to them, they took the car to the shop to check it out and said it could take a day to diagnose it. To my surprise, they brought the car back to me in less than 6min and said they knew what the problem was. The owner said that he was going to replace the valve cover gasket, but I had to pay. I told him that I was not going to pay him to a smog problem that should have been resolved before sale of the car. During this whole exchange, the owner claimed he never seen any smoke(regardless that Id sent him video of it.After a couple weeks, the dealer contacted me and said the problem was fixed. When I arrived, the owner told me he replaced the piston rings and I owe them $1500. I never authorized that work to be done on the car, nor did they ever tell me they were going to do that extensive of a job on the engine, all the while saying that they never seen any smoke themselves. They never provide any documentation or proof of diagnosis.I refused to take the car back or pay them. They have since sold the car to another victim.I asked for my $3000 deposit back. They refused This is a very shady business. I am pursuing legal action if not resolved.Business Response

Following the purchase of the vehicle, a minor issue arose within a few weeks. We made every effort to assist you in resolving the matter. After informing you that the vehicle was ready for pickup, you declined to retrieve it. Consequently, the vehicle entered repossession status with the bank, and we were required to repurchase the loan. As a result, a loss of $3,000 was incurred.Customer Answer
Date: 10/15/2024
I am rejecting this response because: This dealership was made aware of the condition of the vehicle the day after I brought the car home. The reason why it was a couple of weeks in my possession is that the dealer suggested the old gas was the cause of the smoking. After a fresh tank of gas, the smoking did not stop. So only after sending videos of the smoke, didnt the dealer agree to look at the vehicle I did not except the vehicle back because the dealer said they would check it oiut and they thought the problem was the valve cover gasket. I waited for a diagnostic report or some explanation of what was found. Instead, the dealer said they fix the problem and changed the piston rings and tried to charge me $1500. I never authorized them to do such extensive work on the car. Nor did they ask if they could do it. Never was I presented with any repair document or authorization paper work for me to sign. I cant find any proof that the work was ever done. Not even on ******. Also, I find it odd that the loss they say they incurred is exactly the same amount as the down payment Im requesting refunded. Coincidence? The owner also asked me for a $500 donation after I refused to pay for the supposed repairs. Worst experience buying a car ever.
Business Response
Date: 11/13/2024
We are not in a donation business and the amount you put down payment went towards your loan since you did not make the first payment it went to collection and we had to pay the loan off therefore the 3000 is not refundableInitial Complaint

Ou son purchased a motorcycle from High Class Auto. This was his first purchase on his own. At the time of purchase, he was told they were waiting for the title/registration from the previous owner. After 5 months, my son received a fix it ticket because of the temp plate was expired AND DIDN'T MATCH the motorcycle vin number. My son called multiple times only to be given the run around. I called early August (now 6 months from purchase) and spoke to ******. He said he personally would take care of it. Her we are 5 weeks later (over 7 months) and nothing. I called multiple times a couple days ago and told ****** would call me back. AGAIN, crickets. I believe the sold my son a motorcycle illegally! We've spoke to the local ***************** and was told to go to small claims. High Class Auto has been to small claims court multiple times by what I'm able to find. Even spoke to one of the claimant who said the are a SCAM!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because we still do NOT have the registration. My son was sent a text (September 20th) a copy of the registration, said it would mailed to him and was asked "can you please have your Mom remove my negative reviews/complaints. Here it is 10 days later and he still does NOT have his registration. It would not take more than 3 business days to receive. I believe you're holding his registration until I remove my complaints. Let me just tell you, that's not going to happen. I want people to know how you treat your customers. Looks like I'm not the only one who feels this wayBusiness Response
Date: 10/14/2024
We did not withhold the registration. Albert, the finance manager, spoke with you on multiple occasions, and everyone at High Class has been diligently working to assist with the situation. The plates and registration were delivered to you several days ago, as we overnighted them to you as soon as we received them from the DMV.Customer Answer
Date: 10/14/2024
I am rejecting this response because it is full of lies. You sold the motorcycle in February (2024). I have spoke to Albert 1 time but have left multiple messages. You sold a vehicle that you did not have legal registration for...a title is the legal ownership for who owns the vehicle. High Class Auto did NOT have the title. My son had 3 temporary plates from you due to you NOT HAVING A LEGAL TITLE.
CONGRATULATIONS, the title, plate and registration finally arrived after 8 months of dealing with lies. You stated it was over nighted to us once you received it. On your last response to this complaint, you sent a copy of the registration. That was WEEKS ago. You also sent a screenshot of it to my son 4 weeks ago (while asking him to have me remove my complaints/reviews). To ask that and to hold for 4 weeks IS with holding the reg/plate. So, again.....more lies. The worst part of this is having people reach out to me because they've see my reviews. You have and continue to SCAM hard working people without a care in the world. You get bad reviews and then have your buddies leave good reviews right after. It's obvious you have to lie to cover your shady business. Trust me, I will continue to help drive hard working, honest people AWAY from your business and I'm POSITIVE this will NOT be your last BBB complaint!! You're disgusting human beings with the most filthy mouths. To tell customers to suck your d@&$ and tell my son he only got a fix it ticket because the cop was pissed because someone else was f@$#ing his wife!! Repulsive, disgusting behaviors!!!

Hello, the dealership Nowcom/high Class Auto never asked me if they could pull my credit report. As I am getting my Equifax report I noticed that I do not even recognize this dealership. I never gave them permission to pull my credit report. My credit report was pulled without my consent. I do not agree with what they did.Business Response

On 8-21-24 I bought a car from High Class Auto Sales. I purchased a theft protection warranty for $1395. CA civil code ******* sec 4 says I have 30 days to cancel car warranty and receive a full refund.High Class Auto Sales refused to refund money after multiple attempts. 2019 Camry le total amount paid was $19,969. I am asking for the refund I am entitled to.Business Response

This is not a warranty but rather an anti-theft product. We made every effort to explain that it is non-cancellable, and all relevant details were clearly communicated at the time of saleInitial Complaint

At first I was super happy with their service and professionalism, then I realized it was a front for selling faulty cars. If you look at the lower and more recent reviews you find the level of faulty vehicles you would find at a used car lot. The *** I bought at first seemed in ok condition, it was indeed a used car. Within the first TWENTY miles off the lot my 2015 M4 had two spark plugs fail, and an engine misfire. I also within the last week have taken to car to a real mechanic, who came back and let me know that they cleared all the codes, but potentially didnt actually do the work. They also proved that none of the problems have been created within the last month by me the laying chromed, and that instead they either unintentionally or intentionally sold a defunct vehicle whose computer had been cleared of showing faults. This would lead me to believe they knew there was problems and sold the car anyways. We were able to pull up past codes that had popped up, and all of them had been cleared. Since then (3 weeks) this what has broken on the vehicle, please email me for pictures as I can provide them all. Mind you this was after the owner and technician said the car had been looked over.-Spark Plugs -THE ENTIRE AC UNIT(including condenser and compressor)- two speakers -Tail light and fuse board for a couple of the electronics - My transmission failed and am currently looking at trading it in at *** dealership - Owner said that he changed the oil, yet the oil was quite old and in poor condition.Mind you this came after ***** the owner swore it was in fantastic condition. One month people, one month!Business Response
Date: 07/18/2024
the vehicle was sold as is, there was no extended warranty purchased with the vehicle and we check all our vehicles and smog them before they get sold, we dont know how the customer has driven the car after they left the lotCustomer Answer
Date: 07/18/2024
I am rejecting this response because:
The argument that it was smogged would not hold up on two accounts on the fact that this shop firstly did not supply any smog certifications or receipts. Secondly smog test checks for basic things and in many instances is an eye test. The problems I have had with my vehicle are not from user error. As a reminder here is the list of thinks that have broken and High Class Auto has stated as being my fault.
- Entire A/C unit including the condenser and compressor has failed. (Quoted at $3,200)
- The transmission pan, filter, sensor, and fluid all need to be replaced (quoted at $3,500)
- The upper coolant and vent hose, along with the liner. Also the coolant expansion tank. (Quoted at $1,700)
A smog will not catch transmission faults, coolant leaks, or improper circuits. The business has completely avoided the proof that there was a history of cleared codes on the vehicles computer.
This means that High Class Auto went in and cleared the vehicle codes, without actually fixing the problem. It is highly illegal to clear codes for faults in a vehicle and sell as in good working condition without fixing the underlying problem.
When you buy from this company beware and take the vehicle if they allow to a dealership. From there the dealership can look at the history and view what codes have been cleared on the computer. Complete scam that the vehicle has created over $9,000 in repairs that were odiously covered up in the first place.
Business Response
Date: 07/18/2024
Even if you clear codes smog station machine catches the codes, and you test drove the vehicle multiple times and an no point were you pressurized into the sale, you had the ** on while the test drive as well so at that time everything was in perfect working condition.Initial Complaint

Hello, my name is ***** ***************************, and I recently purchased a vehicle from High Class Auto Sales on 06/02/2024. I would like to discuss some serious issues regarding the purchase and financing of this vehicle.1. **Loan Documents**: I was not provided with a copy of the loan agreement and terms on the day I purchased the vehicle. I had to demand these documents from the dealership a few days later. This delay and lack of transparency are concerning.2. **Unauthorized Charges**: Upon receiving the loan documents, I discovered that the dealership added extra charges that I was not informed of at the time of signing. This constitutes a lack of proper disclosure.3. **Vehicle Condition**: The vehicle sold to me has significant issues. The dealership cleared all check engine lights instead of fixing the underlying problems. The check engine light came on less than 24 hours after the purchase, and subsequent repairs cost the dealership $2,700. Despite these repairs, the check engine light has come on again, indicating a different issue.4. **Misrepresentation**: The dealership misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and failed to inform me of the true nature of its problems. This is a serious misrepresentation and deception.Given these circumstances, I believe I have grounds to cancel the loan and return the vehicle. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter and would like to know the steps required to proceed with the cancellation of the loan. Can you please guide me on how to move forward with this? Since the dealer refuses to take the car back.Business Response

Right after delivery, I incurred a cost of $1,206 paid to **** Auto for repairs to the air conditioning and brakes (attatched). It is worth noting that the brake calipers had been painted, but the job was poorly done, resulting in overspray on the rotors and brake pads and compromised braking (photos attached).Regarding the vehicle's history, I was informed by Hash that it had two previous owners and relatively low mileage of approximately ****** miles. ******** I was not made aware that the vehicle was used as a rental for the first ****** miles, had been involved in a collision, and was subsequently sold at auction.**** mentioned that the vehicle had been in a minor accident while parked, affecting the driver's side front. ******** it is evident that the entire driver's side, from the front fender to the rear, has been repainted, suggesting more extensive damage. Despite ****'s assurance that he would provide photos of the damage, I have yet to receive them.Given my automotive background, I anticipate additional repairs may be necessary, such as addressing the humming noise from the transmission during deceleration, which remains unaddressed. In light of these factors, I propose we negotiate a lower payoff price for the vehicle that would be fair to both parties. While I understand you did not personally conduct the 430-point inspection that **** mentioned, it appears that critical aspects of the vehicle were overlooked.I would like to resolve this matter promptly and settle the payoff. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope we can reach a mutually agreeable solution.Business Response
