I purchased this product as a gift for my daughter It was given as a Christmas gift. The company advertised its product with a 90 day no questions asked money back guarantee and a one year guarantee. The product seemed to work for about 4 weeks and then severely malfunctioned, spewing litter and cat excrement everywhere. When contacted within the 90 days advertised the company asked for pictures..the product has a door that closes making taking a video impossible. It is insulting to be asked to do this as we made it very clear that the product was not working. After that communication I have heard NOTHING from this company .I am still making payments on a product that not only malfunctions but creates a horrible odorous mess. The LEAST that I would expect is the consideration to at least be responded to. I have posted reviews. My daughter has posted reviews and they are quickly removed from public viewing. This alone shows misrepresentation of a product, creating more potential problems for future customers. I hope this is not ignored. It is even more upsetting as it was given as a gift and was very expensive. Again, I fully trusted the refund policy and I have been ignored after many , many emails to this company.Initial Complaint

I wanted my money back after buying their cat box off Amazon. Machine did not work as directed. Reviews seem like they were purchased. After I got my machine and started having problems, the real reviews started to come through. Amazon couldnt refund my money due to the seller no longer operating with them. Contacted seller and told them Id like my money back, not another malfunctioning scam machine. It stopped working within months, it was extremely gross trying to clean the box from the small port hole to try and get the rake system to work. It was disgusting putting your arm in there, and it smelled awful. It beeped so loud it and constantly it reminded me of a construction truck backing up in my house. Now my cat is afraid of litter boxes and pees on the ground because of that stupid thing. I tossed my old litter boxes for this, now Im out those, this machine, and the 2 new boxes to replace the **** machine. $400 later. Im back to the same thing I had before. Its a total scam, and I just saw them pop up on Instagram as an add, and I dont want other people to get duped into thinking it works.Initial Complaint

I purchased an automated round litter box from ELSPET.COM. I received a confirmation email and receipt for my purchase. I received a package but not from ELSPET but from a company called KUNG FU CAT. The website shows boxes shipped have the ELS PET logo on the box. The only way to contact is by email. I have written numerous emails but, have not received any communication. I tried the chat on the website but it is a robo-bot only. I have not opened the package and want them to send a return label, and ship the item I paid for,.Initial Complaint

I purchased a litter box from ELS pet on 12/11/23. Was supposed to be a Christmas gift to our cats. I set it up on 12/24/2023 and it did not work right. It did not rake the waste in to the collection bin. I tried calling them several times and sent several emails to ******************************** with no reply. I also contacted the manufacturer at ********************************* Besides the litterbox not working correctly, they sent me a knock off one, not the els pet brand.Business response

I purchased an automatic litterbox from elspet. They advertised on the item a 90 day money back guarantee. When the box stopped working within the 90 day period, I sent an email to the listed support email ******************************** they didn't respond to the first email at all. I sent a second and was asked to provide a video and a picture of the order. I sent both of these items and have heard nothing from them since. They have stopped responding to emails and they have no listed phone number. I have been trying to get this resolved since Dec 1st.Initial Complaint

I purchased this automatic litter box on 2/4/2023 less than a year ago which with the 12 months guarantee on their website which states that they will respond within 12 hours and provide a satisfying solution. Attached are the emails I sent showing multiple days go by with no reply and no satisfying solution has been found. I have sent numerous requests for support through their website chat feature as well and they don't respond. I reached out via chat for a replacement plug as well and that was ignored also.I want the company to either replace the product or refund the purchase price.Initial Complaint

On November 24,2023 I purchased a " not new used self cleaning litterbox" from Elspet online. I received a confirmation email from them the same day stating they received my order they are preparing my item for shipping and would email me when in ships and ********** it should be delivered between Dec 4th and Dec 7th. My order number SPF4592. On December 17th I emailed elsp at their provided email of ******************************* request an eta of my over due delivery. I received a reply on December 19th stating they do not have this item in sock and went in to ask if I'd be interested in "making up the difference for a new litterbox". To which my reply was promptly, I would not be interested in that please refund my money. I've neither heard from them nor received a refund or item. I've reached out to them 4 times total with no reply, no resolve. I'm now out$319. and have no litterbox. Not only did they take my money, they ALSO have me confirmation that they received my order with an email telling me they were preparing my item for shipping.
