I'm complaining on behalf of my client. ***********************. He was paid through medical through June 29th. I'm his caregiver. He has been harassed and discriminated against by his race, sexual orientation, and disabilities. His foot got amputated and now his feet infections are getting worse being stuck outside. There is a ********** laws protecting caregivers and their disabled clients. In which the red lion hotel staff broke several. The security called him a "trans" and discriminated against him when he was straight. But calls him "gay and transgender and a woman" this guy named ***** did. They kicked him out for being disabled and he just got out of the hospital with major injuries that are life threatening. They yell and scream and cuss at him and i and several friends. The so called manager stalked and harassed me and followed me off the property four times in a vehicle pointing at me and harassing me in it. Illegally. I have video proof. They have black mold also in room ******************************** at first. above and below it also. They refused a refund or his deposit back and did not move him to another motel. They refused service and refused to let me clean or get my belongings and chased me off the property. then chased him out the next day and they were supposed to move him first. Forcing him on the streets. They said I'm not allowed to visit him at all or help him clean up the place. When it was a disaster because the staff refused to clean it. Which is against caregiver law. We want him moved to a clean motel and the full refund and deposit back immediately. Thank you.

The reservation in question was a contracted room with ******************************. Their client ************************* did not have any deposit or have any charges that he paid for. The incident in question is not accurate. The person who filed this claim had no proof of being a caregiver. We do not allow people on property who are not registered with the office. She had been staying in ****************** room without authorization from either ****************************** , who is paying for the room, or from the office here on property. She is a local transient and refused to come to the hotel office to provide id. There was no discriminatory words or actions in the incident she is referring to. As the Hotel Manager I reviewed the security footage that includes audio and neither staff members said anything inappropriate or discriminatory. ************** signed an agreement prior to being placed in the hotel that he would not have anyone residing in his room or on property without registering. ************** and the complaintant were screaming at staff becoming physically agressive with both hotel and SCHC staff and was checked out of the program due to liability issues.

You can contact me directly at the hotel for any further information regarding this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:I have video evidence and pictures of their corruptness and lying about this incident. No one ever got physical. ***** was trying to get physical me and with my client and my client **** defended us and I am allowed by caregiver law to work before completely signed up for ihss! That is discrimination of my client's disabilities! I also have video footage of the manager following me and stalking me off the property. Which is harassment. I was not homeless. I am from Weaverville and just camp there frequently. In actual campgrounds. I was trying to help my client clean because the motel staff refused to. No one ever asked for my ID and I never got physical with any one. They were instigating trying to get physical with me. Also my client's feet are infected from the conditions he was left in after this happened. So did they refund **************** health and move him to a new motel? No they did not. They refused to and chased him out the next morning after following me down the street 4 times. By law he was supposed to be moved and still hasn't. We have forwarded the complaint to partnership health also. I do not believe partnership has received a refund. She also barged in my friend's room after that in a harassing manner to force me to leave without my purse and no ride at the time. BY CAREGIVER LAW I AM ALLOWED TO BE THERE TO HELP MY CLIENT! Also the room was a disaster. They refused service to ******, refused clean towels, refused to clean his floors and the electrical outlet was not safe and fire hazard. The black mold is not safe and making him sick. Also his Dr told him he was allowed to have a caregiver help him and guests. So what was done was illegal and discrimination at the finest.

We are not inclined to continue participation with this inaccurate complaint. We have and will continue to work with **************** Health and the clients who follow the rules of the hotel and the Pathways to Housing program.

Hello! :-) The Red Lion refused to do proper service at the Room #***, a bad air of butane gas, or, a similar. This, after the bad room #***. I requested a(n) refund, I requested a(n) new room; the representative failed. I was knocked out after breathing in the air; I awoke with my arms crossed in an unfamiliar manner. I do press charges. I do want a full refund. In addition, I want an extra $3,000,000.00 for the harm and unusual humility and anguish that you created. How long was the person an employee?

    Business response

This guest decided to stay the whole night despite his complaints. If he would have requested to leave with a refund before spending the night we would have issued a refund. This complaint has no merit.

    Customer response

    12/29/2022

I am rejecting this response because:  The refund was requested at the Front Desk, but, the representative refused a(n) new room and refund.

    REFUND.  I do press charges.

    Business response

    12/30/2022

There is no butane gas anywhere on property that could've been leaking into room. The guest is always free to leave. Refunds are not allowed if the guest stays overnight.

    Customer response

    01/03/2023

I am rejecting this response because:  The second response doesn't parallel with the first response.  I was exposed to a harmful fume and or butane ********* contaminate that knocked me out by the door and ruined my clothing.  I do want a(n) refund with a substantial amount for the distress, duress and lies and anguish in response to the first received applicant of the stated 'requested a(n) refund and or new room.' I would believe those actions would have been monitored at the Front Desk.  You have not given a sufficient service and have become the evildoer.

    REFUND.

    Sincerely,
    ****************************

There is no butane gas on property. There is no anguish etc. If it is harmful to you to read the responses please stop requesting them. There will be no refund.

I stayed at this hotel on September 5th. Attempted to reach out to Red Lion via national website but they stated they could not help because they were individually owned but would forward concerns and they havent responded. I had a hotel worker enter my room at 8 am unannounced while I was undressed and ask me when I was going to leave the property. It was a huge invasion of privacy. I had just checked in at 2 am from traveling all day and had the room rented until 11. The worker was extremely rude when I told her I intended to get more sleep because I had 3 hours til checkout and I checked in really late.
