S***** customer service who does not even bother getting back to you. I have sent out a item to a buyer, she says she never received it. I lost my item and my money, and poshmark customer service is not replying to my emails.Review from Gloria G

Poshmark is definitely a site that needs a little remanding. Lots of bad *************************. They either havent been active in a couple of years, or if you have a question they will not respond, and most of the sellers do things that are not accurate or fair. I sell on Poshmark, but I work diligently hard to make sure my closet is accurate, merchandise is accurately described, package the item securely for shipping and mail out on time.Review from Laura C

This site is very unfair to customers. They dont take responsibility for having customers pay for defective products. I bought a pair of shoes and check the box as received. With two days of wearing it the entire bottom fell apart. I contacted the seller immediately who was willing to refund me and I also contacted the site. They are claiming that there is nothing they can do. According to them I had 3 days after I checked the box to file a complaint. I filed a complaint within two days and they are still not taking responsibility. Number 1- I think that they policies needs to be revised. If done is spending their hard earned money to buy products they should get good products in return. The 3 days policy is way too short.Review from Suzanne K

Seller Michellesworld accepted my offer. 58 minutes later she cancelled and sold to someone else. Really? I was first and she accepted. ************* with no ethics. Steer clear.Review from Kristin C

Terrible business. I have sent 5 messages over the past 4 months regarding one issue and they don't even bother to get back to me. I never got paid for two items I sold so I sent messages to customer service but I never got a reply. Even if they can't help me they could at least acknowledge me and tell me they can't help me. Just ghosting me is terrible business practice.Review from Pamela S

Seems like sellers on Poshmark are not held accountable. I have purchased things on here from sellers that haven't been active for years and when I bring this to their attention, they do nothing about it. How about removing them from the site? I recently bought something from a seller who is out of town, not my problem and when I inquired about when it would be shipped these are the replies I got: Not sure I am out of town right now. It's only 5 dollars. I will ship it when I can if not the sale will automatically cancel and u will be refunded. ( I paid $8 plus another $8 for shipping). Well, I only receive 5 dollars after shipping costs and selling fees. Again, not my problem. They decided the amount they were going to sell it for when they listed it. It's also ridiculous that they get 3-5 business to ship something in the first place. I've been waiting 19 days so far and nothing has been done. I'm not sure how this site remains open with disappearing and rude sellers and customer service is indifferent to it all.Review from Katherine T

I purchased a pair of consignment material sandals. Caption said "minimal wear". Minimal definition is "close to new, but with some barely noticeable degradation". The sandals arrived late and when I opened the package I found dirty, tattered, heavily worn, out of shape shoes. I could literally make out the dirty big toes of the person selling the shoes. Immediately, I filed a complaint with Poshmark and was denied a refund, or any way to return the shoes. Someone by the name of "********" emailed to say the complaint should of been done within 3 days of delivery and that the money had already been released to the seller. I (for a second time) responded to say the shoes had only just arrived and I could offer a delivery receipt as confirmation. Basically, ******** blocked and copied the 3 day rule and resent it to me, advising me to read the return policy. There is no way to talk to a live CS rep. **** was my second Poshmark purchase. The first was satisfactory and I left a good review. Will never use this company again. Buyer beware. Had to throw the shoes in the trash. I would not even donate these nasty things to Goodwill.Review from Kathryn R

Poshmark screws over sellers time and time again. Ive been selling on Poshmark more than 10 years and have over ****** listings.I have countless situations where someone buys from me, wants to return the item, so they damage it and then report that it came that way. Just in the last 2 weeks Ive had THREE items returned to me, none of which should have been. One item the buyer claimed there was marker on the blouse I sold. I had photos of the blouse with the buyers label to prove that when I shipped it, it was in perfect condition. ***** claimed it had marker on it and I submitted the photos. Poshmark sided w the buyer and when it was returned to me, it had marker on it. I reported it to Poshmark reminding them of my photos. They didnt care. This particular buyer had JUST opened the account this month and had zero listings for sale. Clearly a scammer. Poshmark just could care less about the seller. Im tired of losing money. This is one example. *** had buyers claim an item had a tear, then return a totally different item. Poshmark doesnt even answer your emails. They take your money then never respond.Review from Willow L

Poshmark is a ****** to shop on. Recently bought a designer bag that arrived reeking of cigarette smoke and the interior so filthy, running my finger over it turned it black from the tar. In the end, Poshmark did provide me a "one time courtesy" account credit. However, my negative review will never be seen by other potential buyers, so no one is going to know how awful their items smell! ALL ratings and reviews should be shown publicly out of fairness. I know some buyers will throw out super negative reviews that aren't fair, but to me it's even more unfair that buyers can't see anything even remotely negative. Anything less than 5 stars is hidden. That's c*** I learned my ******* if the listing doesn't specify, then I need to ask if the item comes from a smoke-free home or not. I see a lot of items I like, then see the seller hasn't been active in months, and questions go unanswered. I feel like there should be some kind of activity requirement to keep items listed. As well as answering questions. These red flags are one of the only ways you can help protect yourself as a buyer on this site since nothing negative is ever viewable by the buyers. Ask questions! Sellers really should include good details in their listings. If not, they don't get a shot at my money. If they do, I still ask a questions just to judge their responsiveness!Review from Tanya B

Promoted Closet is a deceptive practice. I signed up for the Beta program which lasted for one week. It was extremely difficult to navigate the beta sign up information and to determine how it would continue after the Beta test period ended. It defaulted to 125 a week to promote my closet. The bank account the charges were coming from was not authorized, and I never consented to funds being removed. It was only discovered recently when we went to make a car payment and the account balance was zero. I got one overlookable email saying the bets period was coming to an end. I also have never received any notifications that the 125 was being taken out weekly. I would think that it would be a honest business practice to send a notification to a customer that funds are being deducted from an account for services. I reached out to Poshmark support and was told I agreed to the terms, so no refund will be issued but I could have 50 dollars in credit. It may mean nothing to them that nearly a ***** was deducted from my bank, but it caused a hardship for me. My sales did not increase, so even if I would have been aware of the weekly fee, it was not worth a charge of 125. My sales remained the same, so I truly feel like I got ripped off. I spent 2 years building a customer base and I have an excellent satisfaction rating. I would have hoped that meant something to Poshmark but I will close my closet that I put countless hours into and find another platform. I just want my money back so I can move on and leave this behind.
