I'm Very Upset That Imvu Is Playing A Game When It Comes To Taking Away Items In Your Inventory, Due to Adult So Called Content. I have been a member since 2007. I have Spent Lots of money to buy things from them and other vendors that make Imvu Products.They Make you by an AP Pass if you want to use Access Pass for Adult Products, I have paid for it since day one!Well they have been taken many items out of my inventory and saying it is not approved to use since it is adult content.Just to let you know their **************** are not fair, when it comes to women body parts its very visible and they the aviator can buy different items tat should be banned since they would be considered sexual as well.To be honest in this day in age *** is not hidden Music, Video, Internet and much more... If you are of Appropriate age. and have an Imvu AP Access and are not using that item in Public Room. If in Public then I Fully Understand Being Banned or Terminated From My Account With ************************* Need To Review Womens Imvu Ap Products If they are going to take away mine.Review from Britt B

I have been using IMVU for 3 weeks and became a *** member yesterday. Today my account was banned after they took the money I paid for ****** credits. They claim that my account was locked due to me filing a chargeback, I asked for proof that I filed a charge back and the customer service person I was chatting with, couldn't provide it. Then she told me that I can only have my account unlocked if I paid chargeback account plus $10.00 administrative free via PayPal. I refused to go through PayPal because I don't use PayPal and thats my choice. I refused to pay the administrative fee because if I did initiate a chargeback, its IMVU's responsibility to prove that the item I disputed was received etc. so why would I repay the amount then pay them $10.00 for not doing their job, sounds silly to me. I called customer service and spoke to a man who was so rude, he asked for the last 4 of cc I used and when I told him I had to find the card he said something along the lines of, "You used the card today, you dont know the numbers?" thats when I told him to watch his mouth because the purchases were made more than 16 hours prior so I wasn't walking around with the card in my hand, how stupid is he? He also stated that I would have to take a pic of me holding my license which I also refused to do. I want to play a game discreetly, not sure why my identity can't be private, not interested in any of that. They refused to give me back the money that on credits that they are banning me from using, so I am going to initiate a chargeback when the payment posts, I requested a refund for the *** that I only used for less than 24 hours so now they have 2 chargebacks that were filed by me and a 3rd that they allege I filed. STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY or find another app that does the same. I will miss all my friends I made but this isn't worth the headache.Review from Helen F

I tried to buy credits as I havent been on this game in years and decided to start to play again. My order was put on hold, I then reached out the customer serviceI then had my account locked and restricted. Dont you think if someone is stealing or hacking someone account would they reach out knowing they arent the owner? Make it make sense. I was locked out saying I am not the original owner of the account. This account was made 10 years ago when Imvu system was terrible and security. When I called in today all I was asked for was my username and thats it and they were already ready to assist me with the account. Anyone couldve called in and sent information saying my account is theres, I would like full access back to my account as I am the owner and all the name changes and original name ip address matches my same ip address and my location which is ***************** ******* and that the previous orders on the account were in my name ********************* this is madness to put me through all of this to where I cant get my account. Even the date of birth on my account 12/10/1995 matches the dob on my actual driver license which is 12/10/1999 (put a earlier year since I was underage) that would be a coincidence for the person to have the same dob as the original account date wouldnt it? I feel like ** being punished for Imvu mistake of a lake of security and they let someone else falsely claim ownership of my account since their security was low back then. I would like access back to my account asap as I spent lots of money on this game.Review from Kyle P

IMVU has had my account "on hold" for the last five years, I try to recover it and they ask me for the name that was on the credit card used on my account to get AP (it belonged to my former best friend's ex boyfriend) they won't accept my credit card information so I can clear it up and refuse to assist me in anyway to fix my account, I've put thousands of dollars into the account since 2012 and they do this. they said they are against cyberbullying but we have flagged the users and did everything that imvu has told us to do but they saying they everything that was said was in there guidelines and they aren't doing anything about it at all but that are still taken our money for service and still hasn't did anything about it at all and its stupid there was an investigation they said they did and haven't done anything about it they are for the bullying they are crime and death threats and they are still letting it happen and they all these wannabe staff and mods with people claiming to be apart of there team and hackers that is on there and i believe the *** needs to do an investigation on them this has to stop don't get me wrong i've been on there for a very long time and i like it and all but i'm sick and tired of no resolve has been met i think it is a shame that this has to happen but they gave me no choice and it has to be doneReview from Naz W

IMVU banned me for branded items when I never used any branded logos. I remade logos myself and try to prove to them I didn't brand.. they can't even explain what item I use to get banned or even gave a warning just toss me out like they do everyone else. This company is keep taking and taking money from people and so much people put they time and money into this just to get disabled for no reason at all something they made up. I am at the point of getting a lawyer I had a lot of accounts with them for years I did brand before but I stopped. They don't even check the Shop now look at everyone branding but I get picked on for what??? Asking for money or a user reported me for being on top pages.Review from Aramy F

imvu banned people for no reason and their customer ****** is non existent how can a group of corrupt people can run a company i dont understand. i had my account for almost 4 years. and they banned it. i been a loyal consumer of imvu for over 15 years with several other account and they still treat the people that pay their bill like this? this company should be shutdown to be honestReview from Anabel S

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had an account for over *********************************************** 2011. I had put hundreds of dollars of credits in and I was a creator and made at least a thousand dollars worth of credits. In 2020, a scammer started a case with IMVU's terrible customer service department. In broken English, they said the account was theirs and they couldn't access it, they also gave them the WRONG name, the WRONG paypal, the WRONG original e-mail, and "**********" - incomplete city/state where they thought the account was made. IMVU *still* gave them my account. I discovered this recently when I couldn't log in with my credentials. I provided IMVU proof of everything, the original e-mails and the CORRECT data and even my original usernames. Their customer service stuck me in a loop of telling me that my account had been banned, that it was purged and they couldn't return it, that they couldn't compensate me for the credits and that every purchase is "at my own risk", and they never acknowledged that their OWN customer service department GAVE my account away to a thief, despite me having plenty of evidence and the e-mails with the text from the 'recovery case' that the scammer filed in order to steal my account.They owe me $1000+.Review from A. I had my account for 15 years and made and sold badges for the past 2 or 3 years. All of a sudden they accuse me of not being the original owner AND credit laundering! I met all their demands by giving them my paypal, last four of my credit card, my drivers license next to a picture of me and same of my husband. Now they want me and my husband to call their outsourcing so all three of can chat about this. This is insane. They treat the decent people like criminals. They took out ********* out of my paypal for 10 years and there is almost 700 in credits that was from sales to go to another badge. Disgusted beyond belief. Also there are young children there having *** with adults. Why don't they worry about that?Review from Trinity

I had purchased VIP for IMVU and the services were not working at all and I mean every time I tried doing anything everything was just white and blank and it wasnt my computer either because I even tried it off someone elses computer and it still would not work so I ended up reporting it to my bank how I didnt get the services that I was supposed to which I did not and I got refunded Imvu over here decides to put my account on hold so I cannot buy anything. They say I need to settle the $10 payment through PayPal to get my account unlocked which I didnt even know they had a no refund policy its not like I wanted to refund because I didnt like the app I need it because its not even doing what it supposed to so its like I never even got it but I still have to pay $10 and theyre gonna lock my account over 10 bucks thats pretty sad and Ive spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on this game. So now Im stuck not able to buy anything. Who knows maybe theyre gonna try to shut my account down now just because of that theyre losing way more money out of me by not unlocking my account because I was going to buy $50 more worth of clothing when I found out my account was locked their loss. I officially hate imvu.
