      If I had the ability to give this company zero stars or less, I would in a heartbeat. This company has been a nightmare to work with. Since the purchase of our home in 2020, we've inherited a solar lease from sunpower. Scheduling maintenance was always challenging over the course of the last 4 years, but aside from that we were just falsely provided with a payment delinquency statement in August. This is impossible, because we have been enrolled in their automatic payment program and have been making automatic payments on our solar since the purchase of our home back in 2020. I discovered that multiple households have been experiencing this issue of receiving payment delinquency notices despite being enrolled in automatic/recurring payments scheduled on their accounts, and have been referred to a company called *************** to try and resolve it. Representatives from SunPower have not addressed these issues via email and have also misleadingly directed us to contact ***************,providing invalid contact information. The problem is, there is no way to get a hold of this company by phone or via email. We've tried both avenues of contact via phone and email with no response. We received a bounce back from the *************** customer service email address provided by sunpower and you can never get a hold of *************** representatives via phone (we remained on hold for over 1 hour each time before the call automatically dropped). At this point we are beside ourselves because the situation keeps getting worse- now, multiple additional late charges of $7.50 have been debited on our account and we can't stop them since there is no one able to resolve the issue on either Sunpower's side or *************** side. This is unjust and uncalled for and we're demanding action being taken to resolve this issue for us and all other households being affected! We've tried resolving this issue on our own, but will be contacting our Bank for further assistance.

      I have been on hold for almost an hour. Trying to get payoff amount for our realtor. Can not move on with the sale of our house without this and how to transfer the loan if the buyer wants that.

      This is my worst experience of service I ever had. I spent big money and receiving worst service and customer service. We paid off of solar panel lease, and money has taken out. I has been 15 days, but I have not heard anything and still paying monthly lease automatically. I called 5 times and waited at least 40min - 1 hr every time, but customer service wasn't helping me at all. What I heard is that they have a ticket number and waiting from corporate to send that payment information over to financial. AND he asked me to call and check to another department. Are you serious? You need to find a team and follow up or find a problem why it takes so long or find out what is wrong. I wasn't able to connect to corporate team... I am block of doing home sales because of this. Created a ticket from the Sunpower financial team: ******* I need this to resolve ASAP.

      This company has major issues. We have had nothing but issues and problems with them since trying to pay off a lease. As part of the sale of our home the lease was paid off but I am still receiving messages that I owe the monthly lease payment. The customer service is awful. Every time we call to try to get this resolved it is a minimum of an hour on hold to talk to someone. This is unacceptable service

      My sunpower app said one or more devices not working properly took me 3 months to schedule technician and that days came ,and the technician no showed canceled my appointment .now take me another 2 months to book reschedule .who knows this time he show or not , really bad service they take your money and run, stay a way from them .wasted alot of time from work you have been warn

      The solar panels are working as expected and I am happy to have a reduced electric bill. However, I am trying to request a document from SunPower and they put you on hold for long periods, never answering the phone. They should not be so ***** to do business if they cannot provide support.

      I am extremely disappointed with SunPower's service and regret my decision to go solar with them. The entire experience has been a nightmare, from the installation process to their unresponsive customer service.Despite numerous calls and emails, it has been three months since I reported a faulty panel on a system that isnt even a year old, and it still hasnt been replaced. Their lack of urgency and responsibility is shocking.The whole thing feels like a complete scam. I would not recommend SunPower to anyone considering solar energy.

      I bought my system about a year ago, and it has proven, so far, to be a waste of money. I have had a panel out for almost a year. Sunpower has not addressed/fixed the issue. In addition to the HORRIBLE customer service; my energy bills are still extremely high. Either Sunpower is not delivering what they promised, or PG&E is ripping me off. The problem is that I can't get a hold of anyone from this company to explain/clarify my concerns. My true up bill was almost $4000! I was promised I would no longer have to pay PG&E because of how big of a system I was told I was getting. This is clearly not the case, and this company does NOT care! Now I am paying for solar panels, AND I'm still paying an electricity bill! WHAT A SCAM!

      I have been unable to use my solar energy system for the past 16 months due to a microinverter issue. Despite SunPower's website clearly stating a 25-year warranty for panels, microinverters, and racking, the company has repeatedly refused to repair the problem under warranty.I live in a townhome where the solar panels were installed when the property was built in 2017. In March 2023, the microinverters stopped working in my neighborhood. Although SunPower resolved my neighbors issues with warranty, they are refusing to address the problem for me. Whenever I contact customer service, I receive inconsistent responses and no resolution. For example, one answer given to us is that a storm damaged the microinverter, therefore it is not covered by warranty, even though I live in a dry area with no storms, and the technician that came to visit said it was because microinverters need to be constantly replacement. Another excuse we have been given is that our contract does not include a warranty, but we are denied whenever we ask to see the contract. Whenever we ask a question, they assure us that they will contact us again within a business week, however, they fail to do so repeatedly. It has been over a year and this issue is still not resolved.I strongly advise against using ********** If I could rate them zero stars, I would. I am considering filing a complaint with the small claims court for what I believe to be discriminatory treatment.

      Every thing was fine until I needed my roof replaced, Sunpower took a while to respond to my request. When they did they were not clear with their language in describing the process. They used the term site visit, which to me meant an assessment of the situation. So Im thinking they come they look they assess. It took almost 2 months for them to come. When they came it was to remove the panels. They were charging me almost $6000 to remove and restore the panels. They werent going to store them , But thinking it was only a couple of days I didnt go nuts . Sunpower told me there might be some additional charges for materials when I asked what materials I never got an answer. I asked the technician what exactly was the extra cost and he said there shouldnt be any. So I felt good about that. So now the roof gets completed and I notified Sunpower to put the panels back up. They tell me theres a 2500 charge for materials . With no explanation or itemization of an invoice. When I called and questioned the extra charge I couldnt get an answer. It took multiple calls to get that invoice. That invoice was charging me for the materials that came off my roof to reused for the restoration. I did my research on the Sunpower web site and in describing THEIR product with their name attached to it described how sturdy and durable the rails and tracks are. Saying the product they wanted me to pay an EXTRA $2500 could not be reused. However those rails are sitting in my backyard to be reused. Sunpower wants me to pay $8000 to do a removal and restoration of 21 panels. Its been almost 4 weeks and those panels are still in my backyard taking up my space. It appears we are at a stalemate . There is a gentleman doing an investigation of this situation . This entire ordeal has been a major thorn in my side. I wish I never got involved with this lowlife company. Who tries to charge an extra $2500 for materials that have been in place for 6 years ? This is an attempted robbery.
