    Place the order #**** back in early March for an ***** ship date. Never received my order. Had to follow up with an email to the company to which they said I had to change my order to a different type due to lack of inventory. Which we did. Then communication all but disappeared. Now I just want my money back if they cant fill the order

    I placed an order for 3 Seramas chicks 3-7-25. My order was delivered at 3:20pm 4-11-25 and picked up at 340pm. Upon receiving the chicks, one was in very poor condition. Wings sprawled out, not much movement, no chirping. I attempting everything possible to save the chick but it slowly passed 4-12-25. The other seramas in my order started behaving in the same manner and all died the night of 4-12-25. I have sent multiple emails and the only response I have gotten is one asking to leave a review. I have been raising chicks for years and have ordered from multiple hatcheries. I have NEVER lost any chicks I have received. I have also never lost any I have hatched at home. The chicks were in poor health and there was sadly nothing I could do to save them. They have not offered a refund or replacement. I have heard nothing from them regarding this matter. Attached are a picture of the poor posture of the first deceased chick on arrival and a picture of the 3 deceased. My daughter sadly buried the first deceased chick before I could get a picture of it after death.

    I placed an order with Feather Lover Farms on March 3, 2025, for rare breed chicks, including Opal Legbars and a proprietary Zombie breed line. I paid $393.20, which included an extra fee for Express Shipping to ensure live delivery of newly hatched chicks within 12 days.After receiving no confirmed hatch or ship date and minimal communication throughout March, I submitted a formal cancellation request on March 28. The business ignored my request and shipped the chicks anyway on April 1 via **** Priority Mail, a significantly slower service than I paid for.The chicks did not arrive until April 546 days post-hatch. All were dead on arrival or in visibly distressed condition. The box lacked proper ventilation and heating. In addition, the breeds received did not appear to match the order or were misrepresented (e.g., Opal Legbars appeared to be standard Cream Legbars).When I contacted the business, they admitted the incorrect shipping method was used but only offered a partial shipping refund and refused to issue a full refund or properly address the condition and breed mismatch.I have since found multiple online reviews describing similar problems with this business: delayed shipments, refusal to cancel orders, misrepresented breeds, and poor condition upon arrival. I have documented everything including emails, shipping labels, and photos/video of the shipment and chicks.I am requesting a full refund of $393.20 and hope BBB can assist in resolving this issue to prevent further consumer harm.

    This customer attempted to break many of our policies with their order as well as not understanding that **** delayed their package in the mail and caused losses. They then demanded us to send them more chicks and send them upgraded express mail free of charge even though they only paid for the cheaper priority shipping. We always take care of our customers and offer a free order if there are losses. They are very hostile and nt like most of our amazing customers who are friendly and nice to work with. They are emailing us asking for more chicks while their review states they want a refund.... Very complicated customer and we will be refunding them and banning them from our site and emails. We do not negotiate with our baby chicks and orders like he wanted to. Refund submitted.

    Hello placed order with Feather Lover Farms in November for February delivery time has passed and I have tried to reach out several times with no response. They do not have a way of being contacted other than email.

    I placed an order on 11/4/2024, my order number is 8241. The chicks were originally supposed to ship in December but they never shipped. They finally shipped out 01/13/2025 but then were shipped back to the sender. I emailed them to figure out what was going on because I was under the impression that the chicks were sent to the wrong place and were sitting in the post office, I was on the phone with the post office for hours before I got a response. I reached out to ******* in hopes that feather lover farms would contact me and instead the scolded me for complaining about them to the merchant account. They said they would re-ship the chicks in February and I STILL havent received them. I messaged them days ago and they still havent responded. I ordered 4 chicken and paid $120.81

    The first time we used this business was to purchase three expensive chicks for $395. It took three months to receive the chicks, upon receiving them we got two of the correct breed and one were not 100% sure what breed it is. The person emailing back upon contacting was extremely rude and difficult to work with, but I let it go because they sort of corrected the issue, the new chick they sent appears to be a runt or dwarf as it has not grown much. We made the mistake of ordering again, I actually told my brother not to go through that company, but he did because he doesnt have any chicken knowledge and really wanted this particular breed for us. The chickens were delivered and immediately upon opening the box I noticed one had a bad leg. It turned out to have a splay leg and curled toes and cannot walk properly. I have emailed the company multiple times over the last few days, with photos and videos proving this poor chicks deformity, with no response at all. Again, three expensive chickens costing over $300 and NO RESPONSE!

    I am rejecting this response because: Does this look like two healthy chicks, please see photos attached. We only received one healthy chick, hence the response from Feather Lover Farms who said we received two. These THREE chicks were $341! I received one that couldnt walk with Curled Toe and Splay Leg. Yes, I splinted the foot and leg of this chick and it is doing better but should I have received a chick with obvious deformities in the first place. The other photo is a dead chick and my very heartbroken daughter in tears. I asked for a full refund due to these circumstances, which I believe we should have gotten, but did NOT.

    Custoemr was accidentally sent 1 chick Posisbly with a foot issue. The customer ordered 2 separate orders. One order was for Ayam Cemani. They told us after receiving them that we were a scam because one of the chicks had too much chick fuzz for their liking. We created a free order and sent them more Ayam Cemani...

     

    They then place an order for 3 Indio Gigante chicks. We may have sent them 1 chick with a foot issue that we did not see when packing the chicks. We refunded the customer for that chick. They emailed us a photo of 2 happy and healthy Indio Gigante chicks of the 3 they ordered. We refunded them for 1 of the chicks. Hope that helps. The customer is banned form ordering from us again as they won't stop harassing us. when we refunded them and even sent them free ayay Cemani chicks when we did not have to.

    On September 23, 2024 I placed an order with FLF for 3 cream legbar sexed female chicks. I selected November as the ship date. On September 24, 2024 I received an email stating the chicks had been shipped. I sent them an email asking if they had shipped my chicks, since this was unexpected I had chosen to have them shipped in November. They never responded to that email. I called the post office on the day of delivery to make sure they notified me. When I picked up the chicks I was able to smell the decomposition. One chick died and was smashed on the bottom of the box. I took pictures and sent them an email on the 26th and the 27th. They only responded when I gave them a 1 star review. They said they can give a store credit or send another chick. I decided against sending another chick because of their failure in the first shipping venture. I didnt receive a refund but a store credit. Fast forward five weeks. I have a female and and the other is a cockerel. Cream Legbars are an auto sexing breed. This company states:is home to over 40 of the worlds rarest chicken breeds imported from around the globe. We also have our own unique and beautiful designer chickens we created exclusively at our farm. We are located in *******************, are NPIP Certified At Feather Lover Farms, our breeding flocks are given the absolute best care imaginable. They are all vaccinated for all of the possible diseases. We treat our fowl like a close family pet. Healthy and happy birds are a must for us! A consumer would think this company would know what they are doing. I cant have roosters. Had I done more research on this company, I would not have purchased from them. They are not responsible or responsive. I have grown attached to both my birds and have to figure out what to do with my roo, This shouldnt have happened, easiest birds to sex! They dont provide a working phone number. Now I know why. The # provided to the BBB isnt in service.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It is clear in the submitted evidence that I emailed them and sent pictures.  Since they saw this review they have been harassing me calling me nasty and negative.

    Again, they did not offer a refund only a credit to buy something at their store on line.  They only respond when leaving them a one star review which they do not post on their website.  They only responded to me when I posted a one star review and when I contacted the BBB. 

    They refuse to answer why, since they have been in business since 2015, they dont know that cream Legbars are an auto sexed breed of chicken,  no professional hatchery should get that wrong but they did and sent me a rooster.  They also stated in another harassing email that  it is common to send an extra chick,  they couldnt answer why they did NOT send me an extra chick.  They just sent the 2 emails I attached as evidence calling me nasty and negative for asking questions because of the horrible failure of service they provided me.  Im not alone as many people have had bad experiences with them but they dont post those reviews to their website.  This business needs to be shut down before they cause harm to someone.  Harassing people isnt legal, especially after not providing the service they promised.  I just want them to leave me alone now.  Stop harassing me.

    Customer ordered 3 female Legbar chicks and is claiming they only received 2 females and 1 male. We have offered to refund the customers and instead they keep emailing us telling us we should be shut down... Good luck shutting down a hatchery because they sent the wrong chick and offered to refund it. They would not stop harassing us so we had to block their email.

    ********* make misacts, it happened. We take care of our customers. It is strange this customer Is acting this way. We will gladly refund them the missing chick. It is very simple. All hatcheries have losses on arrival unfottuanley and all hatcheries make a mistake sending the wrong chick sometimes, and what we do is offer to take care of our customers and make it right with a refund or a free order. This customers just wants to take us down. You have been blocked and banned. We tried to help you and you continue to harass us. Good luck on your quest.

    I ordered chicks from them and one arrived very dead and already smelling. I have ordered hundreds of chicks and NEVER had one arrive in such a state of decay that the box smelled before even opening it. One of the chicks had a deformed foot that was noticeable and one of the chicks was obviously not well and died the day I got the order. After emailing them in order to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation they responded with a request for pictures. I sent exactly what was requested and never heard back from them. I will consider this my ****** learned and will do my best to sway anyone else from doing business with a company that clearly does NOT care about their clientele.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    There was NO effort made to correct the situation. I received a chicken that was so dead it was already stinking. Out of hundreds of chickens, I've NEVER had that happen. 

    I had another chicken die shortly after I received the birds which is NOT surprising considering the extremely dead chick it was stuck in the box with. 

    You have ignored 5 different messages and done absolutely nothing to rectify or acknowledge the situation. 

    Also, I received a DEFORMED chicken. 

    I send 5 emails and leave TWO voicemails (which was a challenge in itself considering you don't have a phone number on the website!). It took me informing that I involved the BBB to get a response and THEN, you play victim because I didn't respond for 4 hours????

    I purchased over a thousand dollars worth of chicks. They arrived dead & smelling. They had been dead a bit for the smell. I sent them a pic of the ************* They blamed post office but said they would create a free order & get me replacements. Ive emailed a couple times and now they will not respond.

    USPS  indeed delayed your chicks. We sent them overnight express and **** delayed your package an extra 3 days. Chicks can only survive a few days in the mail. We sent you happy healthy chicks the day they hatch and have been shipping chicks full time for 10 years now. We know how to package and ship our chicks but when **** delays them 3 days, losses can happen. We sent you happy healthy chicks and that is all we can do. Once they leave our hands we have to hope **** does not delay them. If delays happen and losses happen, all we caqn do is offer to replace them for you which we did. Please let us know what else you are wanting. Confused why you seem to want more than a free order.

    I am rejecting this response because: Again, my complaint was failure to communicate. You stated you would create a free order in an email. I emailed to find out if it would be immediate or a later date. I emailed again asking would you notify me when shipped. You do not provide a phone number for your business. I found one that was disconnected. Email was the only form of contact. I never received a response which led me to believe that was the end of it! I will be glad to remove the complaint when I receive order. **** is pathetic, however, Ive had numerous dead chicks & it takes more than one day for them to smell. They can survive 72 hrs. You shipped 28th. I picked up in the early a.m. on 31st. Those chicks smelled so horrid the lady at the post office had to sit them out back. I tied them in a bag before I could put in my car to travel with. I believe with a business you need a direct line of contact. If you are only going to provide email then 24hr response would have alleviated my frustration.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have been corresponding with someone very reasonable. Understood as soon as I receive the rest of my chicks I would state this matter had been resolved in a very professional matter.  However,  today someone I feel a young arrogant person has begun to bash me because the complaint is not removed immediately. I wonder if they threatened all the other complaints I saw?! It is my intent to resolve this as soon as I receive the rest and not before. This is a business. I owe them nothing. They owe me. These emails are ridiculous.

    I placed an order for ten Indio Gigante chicks in January ****************************************** April. I sent an email beforehand asking if this was possible, they said it was so I placed the order. July has arrived and Im still waiting for my order. I have sent numerous emails asking when my order will ship but no date has been given. They gave me every excuse there is why my order has not shipped. They just keep saying it will ship soon. Having to wait this long is unacceptable.

The weather has been a little unpredictable this year with temps over 110 degrees some days here and egg production, fertility and hatches have not been at their best because of that. This breed you ordered is a little behind schedule on ship dates. We sent you part of your order August 2nd and we will be sending the rest of your order next week or the following week. It is over 110 degrees some days and we are not hatching many chicks at the moment ans ask to please be patient waiting for your order. We will send as soon as the hens allow.
