    On May 8, 2025 I hired Simple.biz to do a custom website for my business. I was very specific about my requirements and they promised to have it all done in a few weeks. After about a month, they sent me back a website that had nothing to do with my business at all. I attempted to call and find a solution and they scheduled a time for the call. They never called at that time and have since ignored all of my calls and emails over the course of 2 weeks. They have stolen the $885 that I initially paid and are holding my old website (which was much more tailored to my business). I am not looking for you to help me recapture my money, I am looking to warn others so they don't fall in my same trap.

    I work for a company called ****** ******** ******** ***** in Portland. This company has called our business nearly every day for a year, however the line is completely silent for 3-4 seconds before disconnecting. When calling back, I'm sent to **** at Simple.Biz giving me a pitch about website design. I have told him we are not interested, to no longer call us, and to put us on their Do Not Call List. I have followed the exact steps on their Do Not Call Policy, and we continue getting calls, now as early as 7:30am PDT. The number they have been given to stop contacting is ************

    We hired Simple Biz to build and manage our business website. We paid upfront for development and continued monthly payments for maintenance and SEO services. However, the website was poorly constructed using a basic template, with copy-and-paste content, frequent typos, and no original or strategic design effort. Despite their claims, Simple Biz provided no real SEO services, so we began hiring third-party experts to handle SEO—while still paying Simple Biz a monthly fee.

    Later, a Simple Biz representative offered an upgraded SEO service package at a higher cost, promising improved visibility and results. After agreeing, our website's search performance plummeted. Multiple analysis reports confirmed that our SEO rankings and visibility dropped significantly after Simple Biz implemented changes.

    When we ended the relationship and requested our legally owned website files, assets, and SEO backlinks (which we paid for separately), Simple Biz refused to transfer them to our new web developer despite repeated, documented requests. We also have reason to believe files or data may have been deleted, resulting in the loss of nearly four years of work on our website. We are now forced to rebuild our online presence from scratch.

    Additionally, once we signed their contract, we could no longer get a response from their founder, ***, despite being the primary point of contact during the sales process. The work was then handled by independent contractors who showed no commitment to quality or customer service.

    Around July 2024, I received a call from someone named either *** or **** who is a website designer and works for Simple.biz. He offered to build me a 3 page website for my business and I would provide him information on my business. I told him some information about the type of business I have over the phone. He finished the phone call telling me that I would receive an email within a week with a link that will take me to the website that he built for my business. He informed that I could review the website and if he needs to fix anything he can do that. He specifically told me that once I finish reviewing the website that was for my business, if I like it, then they can provide web hosting or I can have whoever I want to host my website. If I didn't like the website, then they would refund the $99.
    After several months and not receiving a link from them, I called up and eventually received an email from a ********. She was constantly trying to make me pay more money, wanting me to pay $99. First she says it was the monthly fee, something the website designer that called me never talked to me about. Then she says it's a hosting fee. . Again, nothing I had agreed to from my initial call from **** or ***.
    After several emails, all ******** did was send me an email with the link. When I saw the website they built, it had information that didn't pertain to my business. It wasn't even close to what my business does. The website was so poorly built, I could have built it myself and it would have looked better.
    I have called the company several times and have gotten nothing but the run around from the girls that answer the phone and with ******** dodging me and not returning my calls. I'm an idiot because I should have checked the BBB to see what others had to say. Not that all reviews are honest reviews, but in this case with 27 complaints and none of them answered... doing business with Simple.biz is a risky option. I know I wish I hadn't.

    This company charge me $99 each month to manage my website. They missed handle my website and make the proper changes. My website is paid and still not completed. Book now button still not working correctly until
    This day. My list of issues with this company is extremely long. They want to make sure they get paid on time and if you don’t they will shot down my site. But they can’t even make sure my site up and running correctly!

    This company calls from different numbers constantly. No one speaks when the call is answered. If I block the number, they will just call from a different number, but same name "simple.biz" Once I block a number, there is an increase in calls from other phone numbers.

    Their work had become unsatisfactory to me. Requests for changes are ignored, everything is done via AI and therefore full of errors, they did something to it so that the entire site was unreadable and when I told them, they let it remain in that condition for over a week. I ended the month to month contract. I continue to get billed, including increases with no notice, regardless of how many times they are told we no longer want their service,

    We get several calls from simple biz a day. I have contacted them several times and they continue to call from different numbers several times a day.

    This company calls our shop multiple times a day with no one on the line. I just called to ask to be on the do not call list and was rudely told, "K. Bye" and hung up on.

    My non profit union office is not interested in their web design. I have informed them of that. They call several times a day with harassing phone calls. I have requested that they stop calling and they have now increased the amount that they call my office.
