Went down to look at a few vehicles, and have a trade in. While being pressured to buy the vehicle I was looking at today, even though my time period would not allow. The used car manager asked that he borrow my keys to look at my vehicle. I allowed, as I thought they would just want to record the mileage and condition. Well, that was not the case. Without my consent they drove my vehicle off the lot and placed 13 miles on my car....not sure if this is common practice. I do know the dealership did not have my consent to drive my vehicle. Hello,
It is common practice to drive the trade-in to provide a more accurate value of the vehicle. This helps to see any potential issues with the trade-in as well.

Hi,We bought our car in July 2023. It had several problems from the initial time onwards.1. Our monitor was getting shut off every now and then, and we were not able to use even GPS.We informed Toyota in Roseville, and they came to check and said, since they are not able to fix it, a new monitor will come from the manufacturer. And please wait. We were waiting this long and calling every time. And they reply, "Sorry, it's not yet arrived."This week, once we called, they said they want to inspect again. I don't really understand what's going on.I need my car to get fixed. Otherwise, please take my car *******'s a bad service. We didn't expect.Roseville Toyota

1 starMy name is ******* *. Im a single mom whom like other moms rely on a dependable vehicle for transportation after saving my money for almost a year. I purchased a vehicle at your dealership on June 14, 2024 , 2008 ***** Odyssey ex/L $6977.00 OD reading at *******. I was sold under misrepresentation a vehicle advertised as good condition. The Car-fax states your dealership did some repairs, one listed was a replaced/repaired oil pan. I was informed from a license mechanic at Nuts and Bolts in *************** ( please see receipt attached ) a vehicle needing a new oil pan is a hint to a faulty engine with issues , with further investigation from their licensed mechanic he found Pitted Cams, which can be caused by corrosion/metal fatigue secondary to a bad oil pan. It is highly possible your dealership sold a vehicle As Is knowingly with a defective engine, which is considered a safety liability as well as fraud revoking As Is sale. The car needs a whole new or used engine and that will cost $7000. I am asking who it may concern to please consider taking back the ***** Odyssey as a surrender with full refund , plus cost of mechanic fees. Please see receipt attached. My out of door cost from the dealership on June 14 was a grand total of $9541.68. Total costs $6,977.00 for the vehicle $545 for Safe Cat $795 for low **** plus other charges , And or please consider a straight across trade with zero out-of-pocket additional costs/ expenses . 1 starIf I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I purchased a car and I was never told that the car had damage to the right rear bumper intil I noticed it upon delivery, they said oh, we thought you knew about it. I would've never bought this car If I knew it wasn't an accident then they said that it would be fixed with no insurance involvements so it wouldn't show up on the record. Turns out that was a lie now I have a car that I thought was brand new that has an accident on its record and I told them I'm not OK with it and they decided not to do a **** thing about it. These people are a bunch of liars and criminals..oh yeah and this is now my 2nd review because I was asked by them to remove my first to help them with their score. So don't believe the current rating, it should be lower.Review fromZackery G

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my overall vehicle purchase experience . The sales manager, who was clearly overwhelmed with multiple customers, failed to provide a breakdown of the total price. Throughout my interactions with both the Sales Person and Sales Manager, there was no mention of the $1000 cash back offer from Toyota.Despite agreeing on a final price of $65,000 (inclusive of taxes and all fees), the Finance Manager introduced the $1000 cash back and adjusted the total price accordingly (new price $64,000). I expressed my gratitude, but he later informed me that the cash back offer was contingent on only financing the car (which I later found out was a lie).During the paperwork signing, the Finance Manager diverted our conversation to push additional services. He was visibly upset when I declined the services. Upon reviewing the documents later (provided on a flash drive), I discovered that the vehicles price had been listed as $66,000 (not the agreed-upon $65,000) with the $1000 cash back applied. I had already paid $65,000 (cash). This behavior raises concerns about their integrity and willingness to withhold crucial information for a commission. I tried to resolve this matter with Roseville Toyota to honor the $1000 cash back that I deserve.Furthermore, I was informed by the Sales Manager that they could not remove the LoJack feature installed on my vehicle. Later, I learned that this service is subscription-based, and I heard other customers also complaining about it. Additionally, after signing all the paperwork, I received only one key fob. The explanation provided was a chip shortage, but now Ive been told it may take up to four months to receive the second key fobsomething that seems unreasonable and frustrating. As a customer, I highly value transparency, honesty, and clear communication. Unfortunately, my experience at Roseville Toyota fell significantly short in these areas.Roseville Toyota

I took my car for regular service maintenance. The car had 7473 miles on that day. An hour after Toyota Roseville took my car, I got a text that "*Battery Replacement: REPLACE BATTERY DUE TO BATTERY HEALTH BEING AT 15% AND 35% CHARGE, BATTERY TEST SAYS TO REPLACE" asking for $294.34. When I asked the service adviser why Toyota's warranty did not cover it, she responded that if I wanted the warranty to cover it, Toyota Roseville would not be able to tell me how long it would take to replace the battery. She pushed me to pay for the replacement instead of letting Toyota's warranty cover it. I persisted and got the battery replaced under the warranty.Toyota Roseville must not scam its customers into paying for services that would be covered by the warranty.Roseville Toyota

We apologize for your experience. There is a process and usually can take up to four hours or more to receive information back regarding the battery/warranty. The price quoted to you at the time was the cost if you were to pay out of pocket. We are glad to hear you have a warranty. Thank you for choosing Roseville Toyota.Review fromJames T

In short if you're reading this and considering buying a used car from Toyota of Roseville don't or at least purchase the option to return the car after having it checked out by a not dealership mechanic. While the Brand is good brand of car the experience and what was found later leaves a lot to be desired. My ****** review goes over the purchasing process, which is a whole different level of ****, but a part of that process where they stated ALL the work that was done apparently wasn't ALL the work that needed to be done. The highlander was purchased with 82k miles a 2019 which is reasonable for the age. They said they took care of the brakes new pads and turned the rotors. So why in 5K miles did the front brakes need to be done? They are liars. Also, during the brake work the mechanic informed me the CV boots were starting to tare and there was evidence that this had been going on for a while. So in short Toyota of Roseville is no better than a Mafia hit man who sold me a car that could have put my family in jeopardy 5k miles after purchase. Shame on this dealership and their shady practices. A used Toyota Highlander that has gone through your dealerships recon process should not have had these maintenance items come up after 5K miles. *** just for the person who is reading this review the only thing they offered for the purchase experience was the tank go gas we never got and a detail. The least they could have done was offer the 90k and 60k servicing if it wasn't already done. So, if you want to buy from Roseville Toyota and you've read this review, you have been warned and now can accept your fate.Roseville Toyota

1 starOn December 2, 2023, I bought a new Toyota Camry 2024 from a dealer in Roseville . The next day I saw damage to the bumper from the manufacturer (I bought the car when it was dark and raining, so the damage was not noticeable), I immediately reported to the dealer's service center. I was told to solve this problem in two weeks. I have been waiting for almost 5 months and no one gives me a call back or they ignore me. this is terrible customer service .I have already gone to the service center twice but they told me to wait . I spent a lot of time and nerves to solve this problem. My car is expensive. I got tired of waiting and I fixed this problem myself. I would like to have some compensation from the company.Seller: ******************************* Manager: ***********************
