The complainant verified the issue was resolved to their satisfaction.
My personal information is listed on Fast People Search website. Name, address, relatives (living and dead), friends, neighbors, income etc. I have requested numerous times to please have my information removed as I never gave them permission to use it. Especially because I had violent crime happen to me. I don't even have my name associated with my cellphone number yet they do. Why? How? My information needs to be removed ASAP.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Okay, sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for checking. I already reached out to the one that I thought was your company. The second one I just went and requested my information be removed. Hopefully this works.

During this month of July 2024, I utilized the website of fastpeoplesearch.com. I paid $1.00 to access their website. Shortly after accessing site, I began receiving several scam phone calls. I returned to the site and realized my personal information was still available publicly via ****** search despite my requests for removal. I attempted to reach company via phone. However, there is only a recorded line which prompts you to their online website form to removal personal information.I attempted to follow their instructions. However, website did not allow me to remove my personal information from their website. I also completed several forms on their website to remove my personal information. However, was unsuccessful. To date, I continue to receive numerous scam phone calls daily. My personal information is public which has compromised my personal safety. Thus, I am filling a compliant against peoplesearch.com to have my personal information removed from their website immediately. Thank you.

FastPeopleSearch is violating my privacy by not taking down my privacy information. I have asked them to remove my info starting on June 19, 2024 and they are violating my rights per the Privacy Act of 1974. Please have my info removes now.

All of the information on our website is from public record databases. Every person aged 18 and older can have a public record. This information is collected on a county, city, state and federal level. It can also come from reporting information during normal every day activities such as grocery store club cards, magazine subscriptions, voter registration, warranty cards, even fishing licenses and forms you fill out when browsing the internet. There are thousands of ways this information gets reported.

FastPeopleSearch (***********************************) is sharing my personal contact information with the public. Per California law they must require a way to opt out. The "opt out" option on their website does not work. In fact it collects your email address so they can give that away too. I want my personal information taken off of the website! I want there to be a way for people to remove their personal information without contacting the BBB.
