            I lived at Monarch Sober Homes at ********************************************************* from July 2022 to mid-December 2022. And while the facility is lovely, and could be a model for other Sober Living facilities, the ownership/management seems to be at odds with their stated goals. While they may be adequate at supporting one's getting sober, they have no plan for a person's recovery. Other Sober Homes have a "Phase 2" type of plan designed to return one as a productive and responsible member of society. Monarch has no such discernible plan.They also do not seem to be held to the many contractual obligations incoming tenants are made to sign during the "intake" process. In fact, they violated a number of items in the contract during my stay. From harassment, incessant gossip, possible violations of HIPAA law, and threats of termination, it seemed as though Monarch's primary goal was intimidation and a steady source income. They also tend to lie. Something a court case (with discovery) could determine. They have no oversight. There is no government body to lodge a complaint with. That is why I am doing it here.
