The problem is that I didn't notice before, for some reason. I just renewed my registration that I purchased in back in 2020. I paid for it cash and had a $1000 balance which I paid them in there office. And then I started getting Bills and phone calls from the Toll bridge. I explained to them that I bought the car and then I called the company and they said they took care of it. I didn't think anything else of it. Until today. April 2nd 2025 and I realized that That my registration says there's a lien holder on it with MGI motors which is no longer in business and they absolutely do not have a lien on my vehicle. It was paid in full. So I don't know how to get ahold Of them to take care of the situation and remove themselves from my Title at D.M.V. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2012 **** explorer from MGI motors on March 2nd 2023. I paid $4,000 down plus a partial vehicle trade-in. The vehicle I used to trade in still had money due to another financing company. They agreed to finish paying off the remaining balance. And they never did. On my way home from purchasing the 2012 **** explorer, I turned on the ** and the whole front end began to shake. I called MGI motors back and they agreed to fix the problem so I took it back and they sent it to the shop. They held on to it for 5 days before turning the vehicle to me. Now that it has been 5 days I no longer had the option to opt out of the sell. There has been tons of problems with this vehicle since I have bought it. The check engine light came on 2 days after I picked it up from the auto shop that they had sent it to. I did a diagnostic test on it and it turns out the O2 sensor is bad. The sharks are now squeaking. It has a very bad exhaust leak due to the O2 sensors being bad. All the weather seals leak leaving puddles of water in the floorboard of the vehicle. And then on February 12th 2024 I had been sent a letter. From the finance company ******************. That financed the remaining balance I owe to the vehicle. They returned my contract to MGI motors. Due to the fact Mgi motors did not send documents correcting an error on paperwork. ****************** has closed my account. And because of the fact MGI motors no longer exist I have no way to obtain ownership of the 2012 **** explorer. Due to the fact that I have no way to contact MGI motors. Meanwhile I am still receiving notices from my previous finance company for the 2013 **** edge that they were supposed to finish paying off. They never took the 2013 **** edge out of my name so now I have been receiving toll fees in ************* on the vehicle. I have not even been in ************* since I was about 8 years old. I really don't know what to do about any of these issues. But I definitely do say that they are a lot bigger than I can handle myself.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2014 **** Fiesta from this business 4/29/22. Now the car ran fine and I was able to leave with it that same day, the first problem with the car started when I turned the car off and back on. The ac didnt work, I didnt notice at first because ****** the sales guy turned the car off himself at the dealership and had them recharge the ac so I wouldnt notice. When I called them the following morning they said the same thing it just needs to be recharged, this issue went on the whole first week I had it and went to them complaining and tried to talk to the manager. They did nothing and refused to help me and refused to take the car back. It wasnt until after summer last year that they finally sent me somewhere to get help with it which I was informed was their shop (which it wasnt). At the shop they sent me to I found out that it was actually the shop they got all their cars checked at and the woman informed me after seeing my car that they in fact checked my car and had an entire list of things wrong with the car! Not to mention that the ac was actually broken the whole time and I had to come fully out of pocket for the whole thing because they refused to pay more than $200 of it. My car had overheated so many times from when I got it to getting it fixed and they wouldnt even check it or take responsibility for their failure to notify me of any issues with the car. Also in all the paperwork it doesnt state anywhere any issues with electrical, the driver window does not work properly, the ac being completely broken nor problems with the transmission. They also lied about the extended warranty being added as well.Initial Complaint

This business failed to provide DMV registration information and title we paid for this service and they had 90 days to provide this to us they still are not providing this documents .We purchase or were tricked into having to purchase a Truck from this dealership by them misleading us that they were taking a refundable deposit that they than turned and said that we purchased with a down payment. They also said we had taken possession prior to the pick up date. We called and told the sales guy within the agreement made that we did not want to purchase this truck that the price was more than valued on many reputable companies. We would be picking up the deposit and he agreed that we would be picking up a check the following day however he would not be working. We could get it from ****. When we arrive **** states we pitched the truck and that $3000 was the down not a deposit if we did not come up with the difference he would keep both and we would be in default his word against ours! Not wanting to lose our money we paid the difference telling employees that we were being forced to and anyone takeing the money would be just as responsible 2 employees refusing to take the remainder balance. Than they stated we would have the registration the following week but nothing. It was pay for through the dealership the smog and registration current. A temporary was issued and a 90 day wait was given for DMV to be provided now nothing more than 90 days latter!Initial Complaint

Purchased a vehicle on 8/3/22. Paid cash, no loan on vehicle. MGI Motors told us the title, i.e. pink slip, would be sent to ** or ***** DMV by mail. As of 12/2/22 no title received by me or Idaho DMV. On 10/8/22 I began to contact MGI Motors to track down the vehicle title. Was originally told the title had been mailed to California DMV in error. MGI Motors was contacted on 10/20/22, 10/25/22, 10/27/22, 10/31/22, and 11/4/22 all resulting in different answers from lost in mail, trying to get a duplicate, and they had to get a bond which would take out 4 weeks. On 11/6/22 I contacted the California DMV and found out MGI Motors had never registered the vehicle. On 11/12/22 I sent MGI Motors a certified letter giving them until 11/28/22 to provide the title. MGI Motors signed for the letter on 11/15/22. To date no further correspondence has been made or received. According to the California DMV MGI Motors was not the legal owner of the vehicle they sold me.Initial Complaint

I have purchased a car from MGI motors on the 22nd of September 2022 night time, the day after I was going to work the engine blow off in the middle of the highway, the car cabin was full of smoke. I have contacted Mr ***** the director of mgi motors he denied responsibility. Then the car was towed to his shop to get fixed after 3 weeks I went to the shop and found out that the car still. He tried to cover the engine damage with new silver paint which is obvious, he made me wait for 4 hours to get the car out of the garage I don’t know what’s the matter. The car has previous accidents he didn’t mentioned to me while purchasing. I believe this is a salvage car which had the title corrected from salvage to clean. Please take this matter as serious because this business is doing Fraud to people and their safety on the road.
