09/16/2023 - $203 08/13/2023 - $203 08/02/2023 - $89 This business operates under different names - "Appliance Repairman", "Appliance Repair Service." On 08/02, ******* came to look at our washer which was leaking. He said we needed a new gasket, was going to place the order for it, and quoted us an amount that the $89 diagnostic fee would be applied to (see receipt for $395 attached). On august 9, my husband saw the hinge on the door was broken as well so we asked him to come back and he came on the same day; he said he would order the hinge and that it would take a month to arrive. I texted him to follow up on 9/8 and he said he could come on Monday 9/11 to replace both the gasket and hinge. On 9/11 he came and saw he ordered the wrong gasket. 9/12 I followed up and he said he ordered the gasket. He came back 9/16 to fix the washer and did NOT replace the hinge with the correct part (image attached). I texted him and he never responded. Today, on 9/24 we saw the washer leaking again and reached out to him and he read the message and did not respond (image attached).Even though our washer is replaced with a new gasket, our conversation and the invoice both indicate that the gasket replacement would fix the leak. The purpose of replacing the gasket was so that the washer would no longer leak. So the business has not delivered upon the service it invoiced us for. We have paid $495 and our washer still has the same issue we called the repair company for. Additionally, I did investigation on the company and it operates under different names and has had several people file scam complaints against them. The original "Appliance Repairman" company I contacted was not on ****** this morning, and when I called their number and told them that the name of their business does not match the name on the invoice, they couldn't give me an answer as to why. They also operate under "Certified appliance repair."

The technician came on 1/22/2022 and replaced my water inlet valve which had been leaking. Two days later (1/24/2022) the cold water side of the valve stopped working, no water would come out.It was in an intermittent issue, and If i tapped on the valve it would work for a few days and then stop. When I was eventually able to get a technician to come out again (almost a month and a half later) it was working when he was there. When I asked him to replace it because it was an intermittent issue and I did not want it to cut out again, he refused. It stopped working later that night, and even though I've called several times since then, they are now saying that they are out of warranty and will not be replacing the valve. I have called several times within the warranty time frame, but they now say they will not be replacing it.I have video of it not working, but they do not believe me that it doesnt work. They have instead just insisted that I pay the "diagnostic fee" yet again and start it over as a new issue. This is unacceptable as it worked better before they touched it.I have my phone record indicating I continued to reach out to them to resolve this issue within the warranty timeframe. They continued to stall in having a technician come out and run the clock out on their warranty.
