I was hit by one of their clients, contacted his insurance (anchor general) to make a claim about my car. I was told an adjuster was gonna be in contact with me that same week but guess what? 0 calls 0 mssgs or mails. Tried to call the adjuster many times and there's no answer to my phone calls or emails. Their client hit the back of my car pushing my car into a trailer.Anchor General Insurance Company Response

worse insurance company ever had to deal with.my vehicle was consider a total loss and its been months and still no settlement banks been calling for months for payment, this is ridiculous that i should make a monthly payment on a car that i can no longer drive. this is really bad for bussiness.Anchor General Insurance Company Response

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I am very upset with this company. I have been with them for many years and have always paid on time. I was hit by a driver when I was in a store who sped away. There were witnesses and I filed a police report. I submitted a claim instantly and got the run around. After some time I finally got ahold of someone and took my car in for a quote. They then come back up stating I have to pay my deductible even though I provided all information of the other driver. The police told me my insurance should do their due diligence and get the insurance of the other driver since I myself am unable to obtain that information. It has been almost 7 months and my car still hasnt been fixed, no one returns my calls or responds to my emails. I am disgusted at the way Ive been treated and I plan on filing a formal complaint. After reading all of these reviews I guess this is how they treat their customers. The customers who keep them in business! I may need to hire legal representation to look into this company because it feels like a sham to take our money but never render any services. I am begging for the better business bureau to open an investigation into this company. I would like some type of compensation for all the years Ive paid into my insurance to receive no services when I need them. This should be illegal!Anchor General Insurance Company Response

Over a month after their client wrecked my car and there claim adjusters keep changing the rate spoken on the phone and numerous times they do not return or answer phone calls, have been given two different supervisors phone numbers that go to an unavailable voice message. Seems like the next step is hiring an attorney and go after the real charges their client has cost me not what I agreed to receive from them. I got hit on 01//30/24 filed a claim the same day my insurance should be not be dealing with the other insurance . They have neglected to help me call them and dont return my calls . Its been 3 weeks I have no car no rental and dont know how to reach a supervisor. I have left a msg and hasnt call me back. 10 years with this company and they not responding to my calls . Always giving me the round around. I put my car in the shop and the owner has talk to both insurance the other party is taking full responsibility but they are saying that they only pay a limited amount. My insurance said I have to pay my deductible plus 25 % off the cost because I didnt take it to their authorized shop. Why would they say that by law I can take it anywhere I want. I have full cover I dont understand why they are taking 3 weeks to figure this out . ******* suggested for me to call the other insurance if I didnt want to pay my deductible so I did and he told me they are taking full responsibility on the damage of my car but didnt want to discuss it with me I wonder why si I left a msg to ******* and ** still waiting for a call 10 years paying them and this is a joke not getting any call response or my car fix .Anchor General Insurance Company Response

THEIR INSURED HIT MY PARKED CAR AND THEN DROVE OFF. WITNESSES ALERTED ME TO THIS AS WELL AS WHICH DIRECTION HE WENT UPON RETURNING TO MY CAR. i CAUGHT UP WITH HIM GOT HIS INSURANCE INFO AND HURRIED BACK TO WHERE IT HAPPENED TO SECURE THE WITNESSES CONTACT INFO. THIS WAS 4/22/23. COULD NOT GET A RETURN CALL FOR NOTHING. LEFT MESSAGES WITH ANSWERING SERVICE. WAS TOLD AN ******** WOULD COME LOOK AT MY CAR SOON. THAT WAS A LIE . *** BEEN ASKED 47 WAYS TO SUNDAY FOR ALL THE SAME INFORMATION I HAVE REPETITIVELY GIVEN BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING. STALL TACTICS GALORE!!! A VIOLATION AFTER VIOLATION UNFAIR CLAIM SETTLEMENT PRACTICES. VIOLATED EVER SINGLE TIMELINE THEY HAVE TO ***FULLY OBEY AND NOW THEY TELL ME FOR THE 1ST TIME 10 MONTHS LATER THEIR INSURED ISNOT COOPERATING WITH THEM AND THATS WHATS BEEN TAKING ALL THIS TIME. On November 14th i was involved in a accident which was the other drivers fault. I have not spoken with my adjuster since the accident to find out about what they're going to do with my car. I've called and called and called her and the insurance company i don't know how many times and I can not get a response I've lost many days of work because I don't have a way to get there.
