I rented a car from this company through Expedia. The day i was to arrive I had a flight delay and tried to reach the company to let them know I would be arriving later than intended but the phone went straight to voicemail that was full. When I finally arrived I followed the directions for waiting at the shuttle pickup area for the shuttle and called numerous times but again, everything went straight to voicemail and I could not leave a message. I left my call back number numerous times but nothing. As it was late I got an Uber and contacted Expedia about a refund. However, Expedia was unable to reach the company either. I rented a car from ************* when I shouldnt had to, I had bought a package deal through Priceline including four days of a hotel in four days of a rental car when I got to the rental car agency they said that Priceline hadnt paid them yet and I have to pay another $229.16 which I already paid, they told me that I would be in there was a glitch in the system when I returned the car four days later. When I return the car four days later they said they were still working at it and of course I had to fly home there just a scam and company Ive callednumerousthem times emailed him outrageous amount no response from them and they sent a note to Priceline saying that they would repay me because there is a glitch in their system, and they never paid me a dimeInitial Complaint

I purchased a vacation package to *** ***** from ************ which included flight/hotel/car. The package was paid in full before we left. Upon pickup of our car from MEX Rent a Car we were informed by MEX that they had not received payment from Bookings and we needed to pay again. However, they assured us that this would be refunded after drop off of the car. This did not happen. ************ says that it is MEX Rent a Car that is in the wrong and needs to issue a refund. ************ has reached out a number of times with only two responses ever being issued a refund will be issued (the week after we got back from our trip)or MEX is looking into the situation (first part of July). I have tried to call MEX almost every few days and have only been able to leave messages that have not been responded to. I have tried to contact corporate in Mexico and have not been responded to. on June 18 I reserved thru expedia a mini van from Mex Rent a Car from June 24 to June 27 that cost us $113.51 to be pick up at 6pm in miami airport location. We arrived just before 8pm in the location since our flight was delayed. We were told that they dont have any available van and offered a smaller SUV. When i saw the ones they offered, 7 of us and 4 suitcase will not fit in there. Frustrated and tired that time they offered no help and even said its not their fault that our flight was delayed so they gave it to others what is intended for us. The agent even is rude and said you are free to look at next doors car rental. That said I was forced to look and rent a car what we needed and I ended up biting the other rental car that offer 4x the cost of what the original transaction in the Mex Rent a Car.So I walk back to Mex and told the agent I will just cancelled it and requested a refund. She said that you can refund it thru expedia since we booked thru them. So june 24 that same day I went to expedia site and filed refund and was told they will email me updates since they need to get in touch with Mex Rent a Car. A week past by no updates yet from expedia so I called them today July 2. After a long hold over the phone of one of the agents bec they are trying to call Mex, Expedia said that Mex will not give us the refund since they considered it a no show. Arguing with expedia agent thru phone didnt go anywhere. Explaining that we were there just over an hour late and they dont have available car we reserved but I was already charged the money when i booked it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a rental car through ************* supplier Mex rent a car. I Prepaid. My receipt said pay at pick up $55.17 At pick up I was told I had to buy insurance. I said my receipt says $55.17. She said I need insurance to cover liability. Told her I had coverage through *************** She said not accepted. I I told her I purchased ************** already through Allianz Global Assiatance. US08497501 POL# *** covered under that she said. She charged me addtl ******. Everything I am reading says my insurane should have been enough and that the companies should already have state minimum requred. I would like my money back for this.The liquor rental is **************** My agreement number Dc-******* My agreement under protection it does not say anything about purchasing liability insurance. On May 8, 2022 I booked a Mid-Size SUV reservation #NPRL8E8553 with Mex Car Rental for June 30 at 9pm. I called them as soon as we arrived and they instructed us to go to the A12 pick up stop. We waited 2 hours and half. They only answered the phone one additional time and asked us to keep waiting. After that they stopped answering the phone. We ended up getting another car from Hertz and paying double the amount because it was a last minute booking.Initial Complaint

This rental car company left us stranded at the *****************************. We call the phone number numerous times for an hour. We finally gave up and had to book another car with a company inside the airport. We never saw one shuttle for their company. The voicemail was full.Initial Complaint

I traveled to ********* on April 18, 2022, prior to arriving, I had pre-paid for a *** reservation with max *** rental through my credit ***d rewards company. Once I arrived they charged my credit ***d and stated it was only to hold the *** until I return it, the amount was for two times what I had pre-paid through my reservation. I returned the *** according to the contract and they told me I should see a credit within 24 hours. I made several attempts and left several voicemails asking for the credit. At no time did I receive a phone call back and they did not credit my credit ***d. It is now two months later and I have filed a dispute with my credit ***d company. My opinion is that this company should not be in business any longer!
