"won" a car auction, but it turned out not to be an auction, it was just a website where the site bills your credit card without authorization. The seller of the vehicle had omitted material information intentionally in order to sell the car for a higher price. Seller refused to allow an inspection prior to payment. Of course, the sale did not go through. Yet, Cars and Bids kept the "buyer's fee" despite the car not being bought. How can you take a "buyers fee" for a transaction that never took place?Cars and bids suggests they do not "SUPERVISE OR MONITOR ...THE SELLER CARS." This is of course untrue as they curate and vet, include requiring certain content captures and information disclosures on behalf of the seller for CARS AND BIDS to host the information. Please stop being so scammy. Please provide ************* or expect litigation.

listed car on this website a **** **** Excursion. Ridiculous policy of charging me for auction even though I let company know car was no longer for sale prior to close of auction. Company kept insisting that I should follow through with close of auction and kept making unethical assumptions that I am looking to pull out of auction due to the price the car was at in the bidding process. I reassured them multiple times on email that car is no longer for sale and the company kept refusing and letting me know to follow through with close of auction. After close of auction they kept insisting I go through with sale despite CAR NOT BEING FOR SALE ANYMORE. Now the company is attempting me to pay of ****** for buyer fees !

On 03/31/23 I bid and won a 2016 jaguar f-type r on cars and bids website. The vehicle was listed as a no reserve, which by cars and bids website definition states *********** then the highest wins it regardless of the price they bid". Cars and bids has made it clear that they do not stand by what their website states, saying they tried to contact the seller but it's not working out so they'll just refund my deposit, even though technically I should be getting the car regardless. For example this sort of thing would never happen at a ***************************** auction, because they stick to their word and are legally bound to what they post.

My complaint is I have tried to list multiple cars on the site for sale and they rejected both times.1. The first car was my 2014 *** 550xi that I attempted to list on October 30th 2022. At the time they had listed multiple 5 series from that same generation which I will link below. They denied it because of accident history which was not extensive on the vehicle, the title was clean title. Recently they listed a ****** FJ Cruiser that had a much worse accident history on their site for sale which I will also link.5 series listings around same time as me:****************************************************************** ************************************************************************* ****************************************************************** ****************************************************************** FJ Cruiser that had more extensive accident history:*************************************************************************** Cars they listed with Salvage titles:********************************************************************************** 2. I just today attempted to list my 2022 **** Transit Connect which only has ************************************************************************************************************************************************ the past which I listed below as well as other cargo vans I also listed Transit connect listings:********************************************************************************** *****************************************************************************************

I purchased a vehicle through Cars and Bids in February of 2023. The vehicle unfortunately was not as described. I immediately faced numerous issues including; an electrical malfunction resulting in the vehicle not starting, fuel gauge non-functional, reverse lights non-functional, transmission fluid leaking, transfer case fluid leaking, engine oil dipstick removed and not replaceable. All of these problems were not described by the auction site despite being known. These problems could easily add up to thousands of dollars of repairs. I am not satisfied with my transaction as I feel the vehicle was not accurately described and has many issues that were concealed. I have asked Cars and Bids to refund me their 4.5% auction fee to help offset these costs. Ideally I would like to completely return the vehicle but recognize that *** not be realistic. Given the quantity of problems I am dealing with and the lack of transparency from Cars and Bids I feel refunding me the $1181.25 auction fee is more than fair.

I attempted to use the website of the company (***********) to post my vehicle for sale and the company emailed me that the vehicle matches the car's listing criteria. They kept asking if I want to change my mind and I list the car as a "no reserve" auction in order to make sure that the car is sold no matter what the auction closing bid might be and that the company gets its 4.5% cut of the sale regardless if the consumer got his aimed price or not. I declined that offer as I want to preserve my financial asset in the car and not sell it below a certain price. Later, they replied that they will not list my car for auction UNLESS I chose the no-reserve auction. That is nowhere is their website nor their policy that lists such requirement not to inform the consumer that the company may solely make such a choice for its own financial interest with no regard whatsoever to the consumer's financial interest. I would like to ask you to stand firmly and investigate such actions in order to preserve the interest of the consumers against such a company's greedy practices.

10/25/2022 I wanted to put my car on auction with a reserve price through their website and give all the information they want. My car worth around 90k USD. Audi R8 2010 V10 They come up with an email telling me to decrease the reserve price 70k, and i told them not to decrease a lot but i decreased it 85 from 90k. They offered me again with 75K and i said no because i don't want to sell my car at cheap price. Then they came up with a massage `Hi Selcuk! OK, we're sorry we're so far apart here -- thanks for the submission and thanks for thinking of us! Be sure to consider us for the next one, and let us know if you change your mind!` So that means they only care about their commission (4.5%) from the sale of the car and they do not care about my expectation and my money. I added as an attachment the conversation between me and them

-on 31 May, I won a car on the website carsandbids.com.-it was a **** ******** TD Wagon.-the seller backed out by attempting to extort me for $7,500 instead.-after airing my frustration to the company, I found out that they erred to the seller that he can get "$11,000 to $13,000 (maybe more!)" for this vehicle.-at this point I can see why the seller wasn't too happy either. He had his arm twisted of going "no-reserve", and the company even put out a video around that time where the owner of the company (*********************) stated how his website is "THE ****** for Wagon sales. -Weirdly, it released a DAY before my winning bid (possibly to hype up this particular sale? But that's speculation). Although posted on his 2nd channel of 80k subscribers, his main channel has over 4.4mil subscribers as of this writing. This isn't some person without publicity.-the seller got banned and all the company told me was "he's banned, sorry, but we hope to see you soon at another auction!" (Words to that effect, see photos) ... what a slap in the face.-the company and the owner have a strong following, and patrons of his services must know that his company swindles people into these auctions based on the owner's built reputation as a harmless, nerdy guy. On surface, this is what it seems like. A washed up, used car salesman, and people must know tto be weary.-I had my credit ran for this, and I took a decent hit because I found another vehicle for cheaper, but I had to get my credit ran separately again. Since the vehicle was old, I had to do a personal loan with collateral (title), but since the different car had a different VIN, I needed another personal loan application.-as of this writing, the sale ad is still up as "sold" and doesn't state that the seller backed out. From a new visitor's perspective, great! Wow! They sell so many cars!... but how many others have gone through what I've gone through? Quite a headache, in the least.Thank-you for any assistance,-Nikita -

Paid $381.25 to Cars and Bids on 01/07/22. It was a buyers fee for a **** *** M3 coupe located in ****************************. Receipt-****-****. Invoice-682950C0-0001.I bidded on this car on 12/16/21 and didnt win but was the next highest bidder. It sold for $15,888. I received a call from Cars and Bids saying that the highest bidder backed out and if I was still interested. I thought about it and decided to get it. They were still going to make me pay for a buyers fee but charged me half the amount which I paid on 01/01/22 for $381.25. I also decided to get the car inspected from a shop near where the car was located. After hearing back from the inspection, I decided not to purchase the car. There were more problems with it that the seller didnt mention about. It was going to cost me more money to fix the car and it just wasnt worth buying it at that cost. I asked Cars and Bids to refund the buyers fee back to me but they refused! I didnt buy the car so they should refund me a buyers fee. Could you please help me get my money back?Thank you,*******************************
