Enrolled in Beyond Finance over a year ago for debt consolidation of approximately $28-30k. Two accounts are closed, they are leaving three others pending and accruing interest. I was served with a summons being sued today for an ACTIVE account I have paid over a year to Beyond Finance, and the company suing me has absolutely no money received from Beyond Finance. Instead, I have been paying some company since 11/23 for an agreed settlement of $4900 and am being sued over $9k because Beyond Finance has not answered the proper creditors phone calls after many attempts (spoke with ******** Singer, P.A). Instead, this company has been paying to a company that has lost my money and I am now given summons and have accounts sitting with no resolution. They are fraudulent and are stealing funds. Legally I have agreed to pay the settlement PER the agreed amount, have been doing so for a year, and am now being sued for the full amount because BF has been paying or holding the money to another company completely unaffiliated with my accounts, and did not ever respond to the company (******** Singer) as they attempted many times to reach out for their payments to BF. Since they have full power of attorney, I cannot speak to this company and instead must go to court. They have been paying *************************** for over a year, and I am now being sued by the new creditor. I want full exit from the program and for their dismissal of the summons for the debt owed to ******** Singer as it has been FULLY agreed upon on what I was paying and that I was for over a year. This is a company that is stealing my money, not assisting in legal issues that they have caused, and I need to withdraw IMMEDIATELY and have them fully settle the issue with the current summons for my being sued by Upgrade (the account in question). This will be escalated to *** and the ** as needed.

      Ms. ******,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.

A thorough review of your program was completed in reference to your concerns.  It was determined that Beyond Finance initially resolved your Upgrade account with *************************** in November of 2023.  Payments on that arrangement were made as agreed until August 2024.  At this time there were insufficient funds in your dedicated account to care for the scheduled payment.  This is as a result of a request to skip your deposit in July 2024.  At this time the agent made you aware that any adjustments to your deposit schedule could result in broken arrangements.

Records indicate that you have been in contact with agents recently who have had the opportunity to discuss this matter with you. Additionally, during these conversations you elected to remain enrolled in the program.  Rest assured that we are working diligently to secure new arrangements on this account for you.

We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns and assurance that we are continuing to work to ensure your satisfaction with the program.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

beyond fails to recognize that their lack of transferring over all payments made to for Upgrade are unaccounted for and have not ever been sent to the new creditor, ******** Singer.
BF has not escalated the case as asked, they have not called in over two weeks on the status or transferring the funds to ******** Singer. I spoke with **** at ********, and she advised that ** has never called or transferred the debt. Regardless of missing a payment, when a creditor has been transferred, it is the duty of BF to ensure payments are transferred and applied to the new creditor.

The BF response alleges that this is my fault, due to a missed payment. I have paid for over a year, and the money has never gone to ********. This has resulted in attorney fees, a summons to be sued due to BFs lack of communication and due diligence, and instead letting this debt pile up while still taking my monthly.
I do not accept what this company has done.

      Ms. ******,

Thank you for the opportunity to continue to address your concerns.

Beyond Finance acted accordingly to your initial arrangement until there were insufficient funds in your account to move forward with the scheduled payments.  At the time you elected to skip your payment, the agent made you aware of the possibility of losing the arrangement.  Your initial payments were submitted correctly.

Once your arrangement was broken, your original creditor transferred the account to the law office it resides with now.  As the initial arrangement was not with ******** Singer, there were no funds to transfer to them.  We will continue to work diligently to present you with a new offer.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

the company that was paid before it went to ******** Singer has thousands of my dollars, and you refuse to fight to apply that to ******** Singer.
instead, you blame this solely on one skipped payment, and there was no knowledge of this UNTIL I received a court summons SIX MONTHS LATER.

You have still not negotiated to recover the money I already poured in already for the prior creditor. Nor are you fighting for a reasonable settlement and explaining Ive paid them thousands already.
your business practice is shady, you do not divulge what happens to us if one payment is missed and we are sent to be sued, and you lost every dollar we put into it paying it off.

      this is criminal.

While Beyond Finance can make efforts to encourage the new entity handling your account to honor the previous resolution with an unrelated entity, we can not ensure they will do so.  Beyond Finance stresses the importance of consistent and on time payments to ensure resolutions are not put in the position of needing to be renegotiated.  All information about the ramifications of a missed/skipped payment were provided. Rest assured we will do all we can to present you with the most favorable outcome we are able to.

I use Beyond finance for Debt Consolidation. In a years time I paid them over $6800. They only paid $685 of my debt. The rest of the money was used for who knows what(fees)! I canceled the Debt Consolidation program because they were only making my credit score worse and not paying any of the debt I had give them to pay! They were adding debt for old things that were ******************************************************************************** nothing but credit problems and never helped. This company as a rip off! They settled none of my debt! In fact I had to go to court over one of the companies I added to my consolidation program because they focused too much on older and unnecessary debt that I had and never added to the program! They destroyed my credit and paid nothing of significance! I ask for my money back, I was told no money was there?? ***** this company at all cost! They do not help! They make it worse!

      Ms. Uphold,

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on August 19, 2022.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about program fees, including how and when they are earned, can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees".  It reads, in part, as follows:

"We confirmed your enrollment into the program on February 28, 2022.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about the possibility of creditor litigation can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 13 "Disclaimer".  It reads, in part, as follows:"

At the time of your requested termination you had three completed arrangements and were in four active arrangements.  Review confirmed that all fees were earned in accordance with the established expectations.

The impacts of the program were also provided verbally and in writing in your enrollment agreement.  They can be located in the same section under paragraph 13. "Disclaimer".  It reads, in part, as follows:

"The use of Companys debt resolution services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest..."

"Clients enrolling in the Program may be subject to collections or sued by their creditors or debt collectors for nonpayment and Client must take this into consideration when determining whether or not to enroll in the Program."

Beyond Finance is transparent in all aspects of the program and ensures we obtain proper approval for all resolution offers.  We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I do not accept this response!  You literally paid only $685 of my debt out of all the money you obtained from me.  You did not work with the creditors to resolve the debt and in fact, I'm still NOT sure where the money that you were HOLDING to pay into One Main went??  This program is not helpful to people. I will continue to post negative things about a company that only makes your issues worse! Regardless of EXPLAINING to anyone, your company took more money from not only myself but other clients, than you paid to their debt.  The majority of what is paid to you people monthly goes to YOUR FEES.  HIGHWAY robbery!

I have several accounts enrolled in the Beyond Finance debt resolution program. The account, in particular, is my *************** (8495) account. I was presented with 2 offers through Beyond Finance. I declined them both because they either required a large downpayment of $3000 and/or an increase of my monthly payment to approximately $200 more than my current monthly payment of $848. These 2 offers were declined because the Beyond Finance agents did not explain them to me properly. Within 2 weeks, *************** filed a lawsuit. I settled on the 3rd offer, which was more, but required no down payment or increase to my monthly payment.Countless times before declining the orig. offers, I questioned the agents if the information they were presenting me was correct. I knew something was not right. Also, I was misinformed that I would not need to appear in court since I signed the last offer. However, I actually did have to appear. The issue was that I was in training at my new job, and I could not miss a day or be terminated. I had worked this out with my HR **** and was having a neighbor take my daughter to school, but I canceled that request when I was told I no longer needed to appear. That misinformation caused me more *********** early Sept, a supervisor *****, was supposed to get back to me regarding researching the calls and the misinformation, and months later, I still have not spoken to her or any supervisor. I should not have to pay the fee that Beyond Finance charges for mishandling the resolution. After all of the misinformation, I discovered countless errors that had been made since I joined Beyond Finance in Aug 2023. Here are the offers that were presented to me. I'd like someone to tell me how the math makes any sense.1st offer: $6891, down payment approx. $400, a payment increase, terms 24 months 2nd offer: $7274, down payment $3000, payment increase apprx. $160, terms 24 months 3rd offer: $7657, no down payment or increase, terms 24 months

Ms. *************************************** for the opportunity to address your concerns.

Review of your program confirmed that Beyond Finance worked diligently to resolve your *************** account.  You were presented with conditional offers that would have allowed you to take advantage of more favorable terms had you been in the position to increase your payment or add a lump sum.  Upon our indication that you were unable to do so, agents continued to work towards a resolution offer.  This offer was secured and approved by you.

Our records reflect that you had the opportunity to speak with an Account Manager on November 7, 2024 regarding these concerns.  This account manager addressed the efforts to reach you previously as well as confirmed the results of the requested call reviews indicating that no misinformation was provided to you.

We have scheduled to have an account manager reach out to you to review the previous offers and help provide any clarity needed.

Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out and we will be happy to assist you.

I was looking to consolidate 5 small payday loans with Accredited Debt Relief. My amount was less than $3000. My caseworker ****** convinced me to join their program with the lure of paying them $100 per paycheck for the company to make the calls saving me a single mom time to work out a payment plan without interest for each company. He added an old bill he saw on my credit report despite my being reluctant because I was disputing it saying I needed more debt. They withdrew a total of $300 and did not make one phone call in two months while I was receiving harassing calls from the 5 creditors. Their reasoning for not calling is they wanted me to pay them more money. I spoke to **** from Beyond Finance who promised on the phone receive my full $300 refund if I quit the program. They only refunded me $100 and are emailing that they wont receive the $200 for their fees in contacting the ** credit that I didnt want them to even contact. I have had to call all the creditors to work out a payment plan all the while losing $200 to this scam company Beyond Finance/Accredited Debt Relief

      Business Response

      Ms. Zvonec,

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 7, 2024.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  As part of this process information about all related program fees was provided both verbally and in writing. This information can be located in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees.  It reads, in part, as follows:

"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution offer on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

At the time of your requested termination you had authorized resolutions on two of your enrolled accounts.  In relation to your **************** account, the first payment was made.  All established expectations to earn the fee related were met.

Additionally, information about estimated timing of offers is provided in paragraph 8. Timing and Program Estimates.  It reads, in part, as follows:

"Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow resolution offers to be reached within their historic norms. While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 40%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve that Debt. Further, in our experience it typically takes approximately 4-6 months before reaching the stage at which Company can begin reaching out to creditors"

As it related to your program, these expectations were exceeded.

Review of your request to terminate confirms that no guarantee of a refund was provided.

We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

      Customer Answer

There was not 2 resolutions. There was an attempt for a resolution for **************** to settle the account but once I received the letter from ** that they would report the settlement to the *** who could withhold it from my tax refund I declined it. Beyond finance did not disclose that important information about my taxes so I called them immediately to cancel. That is when **** from Beyond Finance called me 5times trying to keep me from quitting. Once again, **** confirmed on the phone conversation that i would be refunded the full amount of $300 before my canceled the program. For that alone I expect the full refund that he promised me. They only refunded me $100 so far.

Thank you for the continued opportunity to address your concerns.

Review of your program confirmed that you did authorize two resolution offers on your program.

WFBNA CARD - Authorized on 10/11/2024
      ***************, N.A. - Authorized on 10/17/2024

During your enrollment interactions it is explained that there may be tax implications and that you should seek assistance from a tax professional if necessary.

Review of your termination interaction confirmed that you were not informed of a specific amount you would be refunded.  You were refunded all available funds in your dedicated account after earned fees were collected.

Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I did not approve of either resolution and called to cancel immediately upon receiving the letter from WellsFargo stating  the amount settled could be taken out of my tax refund. I have screenshots of the calls I made to your company the very day I opened the letter from **********. Credit One was not even supposed to be added on as I was in dispute with them. ******** did not tell me about the important information about the tax refund if he did I would never have signed up. The bills I wanted addressed were the pay day loans. I made it clear to him before I signed on and Im sure the calls are recorded. None of the banks had heard from Beyond Finance for the whole time your company withdrew $100 from each of my paychecks. He lured me to sign up stating you are too busy to make the calls we can make to settle the accounts yet $300 and no calls or contact was made.
The person I spoke to when I quit PROMISED me I would receive the full refund and did Not mention the fees.
your fraudulent company has ruined my credit and one loan is charged off.
The least you can do is keep the promise of the full refund. Its horrible to take advantage of peoples financial hardships.

When I decided to cancel the contract with them, they are trying to assess me a 25% penalty even though the remainders of the balance I still owe to the companies. It also shows that I have the $781 I was paying per month only $500 was going towards The bill and they were collecting the rest, which should sufficiently cover their fees.

Mr. ****************************** you for the opportunity to address your concerns.

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 26, 2023.  At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about fees, including how and when they are collected, can be located in the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) "Program Fees".  It reads, in part, as follows:

"The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of *****% percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program and where Company resolves the debt, whether directly or indirectly through Companys agents, with the creditor"

"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

At the time of your requested termination you were in two active arrangements.  Beyond Finance met all established expectations to collect fees as it related to your approved arrangements.  Our records reflect $1,167,64 was returned to you at the time of termination.

We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Let us provide additional clarity, two offers were presented and one was accepted.

The fees as it relates to the offer that was approved and payments were completed on were earned in accordance with all established expectations.  The fees collected were not a cancellation fee, of which we do not charge, they were fees related to the approved arrangement.

We are hopeful this additional clarity is helpful.

"Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution offer on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."

Beyond Finance met all of the established expectations prior to earning the fee related to the approved resolutions.

We are hopeful we have been able to provide clarity to your concerns.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

This business has not been transparent about additional fees that are incurred. Appears to use many different 3rd parties that have different policies- very confusing. **************** is rude and inept. I no longer wish to be a part of this program and want my balance in its entirety.

Cancelled my account with ********************** on the 30th of October after finding out they had withdrawn from paying the biggest creditor because of a date of withdraw had to be pushed out because I had not got paid that month on the usual date. They had advised they would then proceed to cancel my services and my dedicated amount of 521 and some changewould be refunded back to me within a few business days. Now, 2 days later, they're saying fees associated with the account, I would be due back no refund. After being with them for 2 years paying 400 a month, they had only paid 1200 of relating debt. And now they're trying to keep the rest. This is utterly unacceptable, this is a nesting ground for crooked individuals in business.

I opened up an account with ********************** 3 years ago, they told me if I made all my payments that my debt would be paid. After they three years Io saw there was a payment by Beyond that was missed to pay a creditor. I wasn't informed of this missed payment, and was told that all I had to do was keep making payments. After depositing additional money on top of payment I still owed a creditor at the end of the 3 years. Multiple calls to this company were not helpful as all I was told is the problem would be escalated... Afterwards I was helped by an employee (*******) that clearly told me that my accounts should have been paid in full. Well they weren't. Beyond did NOTHING to take responsibility for their error and in turn, after paying 10k into this FRADULENT COMPANY my debt NEVER got resolved and still was left with it. They should be looked into their practices a company as I'm sure they have cheated people out of money and given false promises. Keeping in mind there was a contract signed by me that all of these debts would have been paid in time and after 3 YEARS they failed in upholding their contract!!!! BBB should also look at Crossroads finance who they are associated with as they take the payments from them and also doing shady things. *********** TERRIBLE COMPANY FOR DEBT HELP!!!!!********************************* ****************************************************************************************************************** Phone Number **************
