Beyond Finance owes me ******** refund that they claim to have issues on 09/07. I have yet to receive. They have claimed to have sent it 3x's now, and each time, the amount gets smaller. They have had 3 different addresses they claim to have sent it to and now they are decoction ***** each time I ask for my funds. Please help!Business Response

Review of your program determined that the initial attempt to issue you refund was rejected by your financial institution. In order to accommodate, the refund was requested again in the form of a paper check. This check was sent to the address on file, however the apartment number was not on file. This check was cancelled and a new check was issued. Records reflect the check issued on October 5, 2024 has been received and processed.
As a courtesy, a refund of the one time stop withdrawal fee in the amount of $17.50 that was assessed will be issued. This will be issued via check to the same address. Beyond Finance is using third parties to send mailers for loans to recipients nationwide. Once a recipient calls in for the offer they are refered to beyond finance for debt consolidation services, even when they have good credit. Beyond finance is using the lowest known credit scores reported for their clients to trick them or create a sense of urgency for their services. This a is a scheme built on manipulation that results in destroyed credit scores for the customers and sets people back years in terms of financial strength and leverage. The company's business model is in need of review and monitoring by an oversight agency and their customers vary well may be entitled to a class action suit for damages.Business Response

I entered the program because I was paying more in interest and not getting anywhere. I was told I had to stop paying on my 6 accounts I had enrolled in the program. I stopped paying with the understanding from Beyond that they would negotiate my debts in 3-6 months. It wasnt until after 4 months of payments to Beyond that I realized all of the money I had deposited in my dedicated account was so that they could negotiate 1 account and only pay them $50 and Beyond pay themselves $1700. I was told that it would take them 3-6 months to negotiate all of my accounts not use the money I deposited for their 25% fee prior to negotiating any other account. When I called I was told they would put in a request to have the money refunded to my account. $1700 could be used to negotiate other accounts or even pay the negotiated account that they did settle. It is sickening to know that they take advantage of people in tough spots, get them to think they are working to negotiate their debts and really are only interested in taking their fee prior to resolving any other debts. I am now having to consider other options such as bankruptcy because I was lied to from the very beginning about how the program works and their staff to very little to educate on the ramifications of their program and lie and say that debts will be negotiated in 3-6 months. I would have never agreed to a program that would take up to 55 months to negotiate debts. I agreed on a program to be debt free in 55 months with regular payments being made 3-6 months to all of my creditors not just one in that timeframe.Business Response

Review of your enrollment interaction confirmed that you were advised that you could expect to reach your first resolution offer within 3-6 month, an expectation that Beyond Finance met. Additionally, you were educated as to how and when Beyond Finance earns the fee related to the resolution offer. Upon successful negotiation, your authorization and, at minimum, the first payment to the creditor Beyond Finance is able to earn our fee in full.
In this circumstance, Beyond Finance elected to earn only a portion of the full fee amount due to allow for the accumulation of funds to help secure additional arrangements. At the time of this response we indicate that there is another resolution offer pending your review for approval.
It is important to keep in mind that this program is designed to care for all of the included accounts as well as their related fees throughout the lifetime of the enrollment.

Beyond Finance lied and deceived in its enrollment process. If I would have been properly informed of how the process works and when debts would have been resolved I would have never entered into the program. I would have never agreed to not pay my debts if I was not told it would Beyond Finance 3-6 months to negotiate all of my debts not up to 55 months. Now I am in a financial situation of not paying on 6 of my accounts and could possibly facing litigation which will come at my expense. If Beyond Finance takes 55 months to negotiate all of my debts then it should take 55 months for Beyond Finance to collect its fees not Beyond Finance taking the money I have been depositing into my account and not using those funds to negotiate all of my accounts. It is deceitful on how Beyond Finance states how they do business and trap individuals and then bankruptcy is their only solution. Had I filed for Chapter 13 all of the debts would be getting paid under a Chapter 13 Plan. Beyond Finance is more concerned about taking their fee and instead of me paying what is owed they are taking that portion for themselves and not negotiating debts leaving people in a worse financial spot than before due to their lack of education on how the program works and how long it will take them to negotiate their debts. I was never told it would take 3-6 months for 1 account I was told 3-6 months for ALL of my accounts to be negotiated. I would have ever agreed to 55 months of not paying on any of my accounts. Additionally I had 4 other accounts that are not apart part of the program I was told had to be paid off by October which they will be which clearly was untrue and put me in a more difficult situation. I never said Beyond Finance did not deserve their fee I am saying they are taking their fee in an improper manner and are not using those funds to negotiate my debts and are taking their fee first PRIOR to actually doing what they were contracted to do.

Beyond financial is a credit consolidation company. Before beyond my credit was excellent. They assured me they would help and my credit would go up again within 6 months. I signed up in March 2024. They did not make an offer until August considering i was making payments of ****** ever two weeks. I initially received an offer on August 5th which i accepted however i messaged over customer chat that i wanted to withdraw my acceptance and wait because i was trying to get a loan to pay off all my debt. I canceled/withdrew August 8th. August 15 i see a payment of 550 was made to my creditor, as well as a ****** fee credited to them. Soon after the payments they cancelled the offer as well as removed the account from the consolidation. The account was never resolved except for one payment made. I called to inquire about the closure of my account and they claimed i wanted access to my account which i never called or inquired about. I asked to terminate my full consolidation because it seemed very shady. I also requested a refund for the remaining balance in my designated account as well as a fee refund for the ****** they charged me when my account was not resolved. The manager i spoke to said he will refund my designated amount as well as terminate my account. He mentioned i if i withdrew the offer before August 15th i would get a refund for the fee they charged. A few days later i see a refund of only ****** when i had over 800 plus the ******. I called again, spoke with a representative whom also spoke with a a manger about why my refund was short. They apparently didn't refund the fee but charged me another 160 towards bogus fees and said that i didnt withdraw my offer acceptance until after the payment was made on the 15th. I asked them to review chat and phone records which they didn't. They told me to call back and speak with another manager because it was late. I was told I would receive a refund for the fees charged for the only credit card an offer was made to if I cancelled the offer before August 15th. I cancelled before the 15th and a payment was still made to the creditor as was the fee charged to my account. I did not request the account to be removed. It was removed without my knowledge or permission. Why would I remove an account that I had paid resolution fees towards? When I spoke to the female she stated I would not be charged the resolution fee when there was another resolution offer. Not once during that conversation did I ask to have the account removed nor did I want access to the credit. I asked to receive an invoice on where the fees were allocated. I then receive a notice the account was removed. I did not ask for the account removal that is a lie. Why was the account removed without me asking nor consent? Complaint: Non-compliance and Misleading Communication by Beyond Finance I am deeply frustrated with Beyond Finances handling of my debt resolution. I took out a loan through Above Lending to graduate from the Beyond Finance program, with more than enough funds to pay off my debts, including a remaining loan with ********************* for $4,521.60. Despite claiming to have contacted the credit union to resolve this, St. Anns confirmed they were never contacted. Beyond Finance continues to delay payment, prolonging the process and preventing me from improving my credit. I believe this is intentional so they can continue to collect interest on the funds sitting in my account, rather than resolving my debt.This situation has been a major inconvenience, and I need this resolved immediately. Im frustrated with the ongoing avoidance of my clear request to pay off this debt. It is unacceptable that, despite direct instructions, nothing has been done.
Its unethical that my funds are secured with your agency specifically to pay off this debt, yet no action has been taken. The bank has provided you with direct contacts, asked for details, and received no response from you. Each time I get an email, there are conflicting errors and false claims. Youve repeatedly stated youve contacted the bank, yet they confirm this is untrue.
I am not requesting negotiations or a lower payment. There is more than enough money in my account to pay this debt in full, and I expect the remaining balance to be reimbursed. All other debts with your agency have been settledthis is the final one. If this is not resolved by next week, I will pursue legal advice regarding this matter.

I finished paying all of my creditors enrolled in my beyond program on 8/26. I have over $18000 remaining of a loan in the account that was dedicated for my settlements. Beyond has on countless occasions told me it would be refunded within 7-10 days. When that passed, they have switched up the story numerous more times. I am using Beyond Finance to make a settlement to ************ on my behalf. I have more than enough funds in my account with them to pay off the debt in full. It has been almost a year of trying to get this paid off. I check in with Beyond Finance to get a status and each time I am told that it has been over a month since someone from their negotiations team has made any contact with ************. And each time I am told that they will push mine to the top of the list but nothing happens. At this point, I do not care if they can negotiate down. I enrolled in this program and was given the expectation of debt resolution in 48 months. Given my total debt, that was never a possibility. I was told my credit would be impacted but should start to rebound after about a year and all creditors were contacted, which was also a lie. I've been in it for over two years now, my credit is at an all time low and now I have a loan through their "graduation" program. The loan was for 17k, the amount of remaining debt paid off was *****, and the remainder was supposed to come back to me. So, simple math, I thought I would have around 5-6k to put towards that loan, but after they hit me with all the settlement fees, what I got back was 1200. Insane. Over the life of this program, I've paid $6557.74 in settlement fees and monthly payments. In addition to that, I paid $500/mo into it to have debts settled, and after two years, only one account was completed and not negatively reporting to the credit bureau. It shows they "reduced" my debt by $7,805.49, but I didn't come out ahead because all their fees were almost the same amount. I would NEVER do another program like this and will make sure that everyone knows who Beyond Finance is. Not a solution to reduce/pay off debt, but a predatory program that takes people already struggling financially and "reduces" debt, but still takes a fee of 25% of the ORIGINAL enrolled debt. It's shameful and I can't even express how much I regret letting myself be conned into thinking this was a good solution.Business Response

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on December 2, 2022. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Debt Resolution Agreement with you prior to your signing. At this time, you were established in a program with an estimated length of 48 months. It would be irresponsible for us to guarantee a specific program length given the nature of debt resolution.
Regarding the manner in which your creditors chose to report to the credit bureaus, as Beyond Finance does not assume your debt we are unable to control how it is reported.
The manner in which Beyond Finance earns our fee is covered during your enrollment interaction and provided in writing via your Enrollment Agreement. It can be located in paragraph 11. (a) and reads, in part, as follows:
" Program fees are due and earned when: (i) the Company reaches a resolution on an enrolled debt with a creditor, (ii) the Client accepts and agrees to the new terms, and (iii) the first payment of the new agreed upon terms is made to the creditor."
All fees earned were done so within the established expectations.
