This company deploys a mis-leading and RACIST patient loan program. The loan terms and who gets offered what are determined using demographic data that cannot be viewed in any way other than racist. They use very aggressive payment follow up tactics and should be avoided at all costs!! Dont be fooled by their lies.

ClearBalance would like to take this opportunity to bring clarification to the situation brought to BBB by ***************************** and would like to be clear that as the review and details presented speak to a personal loan we cannot speak to the details or the account specifically, but to the process and account management broadly. When a consumer sets up recurring automatic payments, they choose a minimum payment amount and a withdrawal date for their payments to be taken each month. The consumer receives disclosures at the time they set-up recurring payments notifying them that they may cancel or change their recurring payment at any time, but three (3) business days notice (before the next scheduled payment) is required to ensure the next scheduled payment is not withdrawn. Making a payment outside of a scheduled recurring payment will not prevent the next payment from being withdrawn, even if the minimum payment has already been satisfied, and the account reflects a zero-balance due for the month through another payment method.ClearBalance attempts to resolve issues for our consumers as quickly and efficiently as possible. While we may issue a refund for a consumer at the time of their request, the timing of when the depository financial institution reflects the funds as available is outside of our control.
