**** ******* ************** is a straight up scam. I paid 7500 thinking Id learn how to become a remote closer and actually make money. Then they hit me for another 5000 at a seminar in ********* for some apprenticeship that turned out to be completely fake. There was no apprenticeship no real mentorship no job leads nothing. They promised lifetime access to the program and then took it away with no explanation. I reached out so many times and either got ignored or sent in circles with fake support replies. The whole thing is just basic videos and hype with no real value. You could find better info for free online. This isnt a program its a trap. They target people who are trying to change their lives and manipulate them into maxing credit cards and draining savings. Once they get your money they stop caring completely. No accountability no results no refunds.I want my money back and I want this public so other people dont fall for the same scam I did. **** ****** is not changing lives hes scamming them. Do not trust this academy.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/22/2025

We're very sorry to hear of this individual's experience however these claims are false.

As for an extra $5000 investment... any program entered into by a student is agreed upon up front. The apprenticeship is not a "fake" program. It consists of weekly meetings held every friday and we make sure every member is up to date and invited to the zoom calls.

Lifetime access is promised indeed and the only reason anyone would lose access is if they have went delinquent on payments or cancelled their account. If neither of these are the case we would be happy to get with you and make sure your access is up to speed as it should be.

We do not have "fake support replies" either. Our email is ******************************* and we have live staff on standby to handle any of these inquiries.

We take great pride in the organization and follow through of our programs so claims of us "trapping" people or "scamming" people are simply not true.

Our resolutions team would be more than happy to help this individual handle any other issues or concerns they may have.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 04/22/2025

Lets not play dumb. I paid over 12K and got sold a dream that never existed. That apprenticeship wasnt legit hands-on experience like you claimed. It was just some basic Zoom calls with no structure no guidance and definitely no real opportunities. Yall made it sound like wed be working with real businesses getting real experience and setting ourselves up to earn. None of that happened.

I didnt go delinquent either. I paid everything in full. So dont try to use that as an excuse for taking away access. I was told Id have lifetime access and you took it with no warning and no reason.

Support? I hit that email plenty of times. Either I got ignored or sent one of those copy-paste replies that dont actually help with anything. Dont act like your teams been on standby. Yall didnt care until I went public.

The whole program is built on pressure and hype. You rush people to buy in make big promises and once you get the money its crickets. Thats not just me saying it either. Theres a whole trail of people online with the same story.

If your program really worked you wouldnt have to keep defending it every time someone speaks up. Just admit it. You scammed a lot of people and now youre trying to cover it up.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/23/2025

I can assure you we have no reason to play "dumb" with anyone. The apprenticeship program is held on zoom every week and while you are fully entitled to your opinion, the claim of it having no guidance or structure is simply false. We have plenty of students that have went on to have successful results after completing this program.

As for the account access. I didn't say that you went delinquent. I said that the only 2 possibilities of someone losing access is if they went delinquent or cancelled their account. If neither of these are the case then we would like to ensure that your access is up to date as it should be.

As for support. We have not only the email for support but you also have your supervisors who are a part of the support team and we have a support phone number as well. There are multiple resources that we have ensured are in place for students at any point of any program we provide.

We understand your frustration but to say any program we provide is "fake" or a "scam" is simply not true. We have numerous students that go on to have successful results for themselves.

Lastly, as for working with real businesses and having opportunities to learn... you do have that opportunity. It's what our placement service is based around. Upon completion of the ************** program we have multiple partners in different industries and a team in place to help get you in a position to earn with them as promised. We even help students with opportunities to learn before our programs are even completed.

I selected a class **** ****** closer academy $37. They called claiming it was good investment could make 6 figures but the training was trash. They called me non stop when I work nights. I didn't learn anything. I filed all the emails requesting refund. They said I had 3 days to cancel they never told me that. They aren't very honest and I don't see how he gets to keep my money for training I can't use. I'm not s sales person

    Business Response

    Date: 04/07/2025

We are sorry to hear of this individual's experience and that they think the training is "trash" but the training material we provide has helped countless students achieve the professional and financial goals they have set out for themselves.

This individual completed 2 entire certifications in our ************** program and was making good progress.

Part of what helps our students along the way is the extra support and accountability that we provide. We do call students regularly to ensure all questions are answered and they have the clarity to continue progressing through the program. If we are calling someone outside of their availability we have no issue with reaching out a different time that is more convenient. Any calls we make our with the intention to support and provide assistance.

We pride ourselves on our honesty in this organization. We do not lie or deceive anyone. We would be happy to have a conversation with this individual to resolve any concerns and help them get back on track.

I got involved with Limelight and the closer academy all the way back in May 2024. In the process, I realized that this was a pyramid scheme and did not want to be a part of taking advantage of young adults who are lost to invest back into **** ******* program. It did not feel right to take advantage of young kids, spending their last bit of money in hopes to become rich in a dirty sales scheme. I had paid them out about 5 grand in these services for minimal value provided back to me. And now they are trying to come at me for more money, with a debt collector reaching out to me(I got involved with them about a YEAR AGO). They already put me in financial distress and debt. It only confirms more to me that they are truly hustling to take money from people, not to help. Respectfully, Limelight has already put me in the hole, please stop trying to take more of my hard earned money for a service that you did not provide me. And please stop taking advantage of innocent people.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/24/2025

We are very sorry to hear of this individuals experience.

However, we do not scam or take advantage of anyone joining our program. Any program entered into is clear and agreed upon both parties. We are very thorough in our sales process.

We also go have systems, processes, and staff in place to ensure all students have the support and resources they need to complete any program they are a part of.

As for collections. We have multiple steps taken to resolve issues before any collections are sought after. We do not try to take anything from anyone that wasnt agreed upon entering the program.

Transaction from 2/28/201 Scammed me out of $5,000 They were promising that we would make $10k-$20k per month. The *** already sued The Sales Mentor which is one of their programs disguised as Limelight Media. I agreed to do in house financing and make a payment every 2 weeks. When I provided my credit card information they switch the terms without my permission and charged me the full amount to my credit card. They never refunded my money and just scammed me and kicked me out of the fb group. Thats what they do to the buyers that found out about the scam.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/11/2025

We are very sorry to hear of this individual's experience. However, the claims made in this complaint are false.

Any terms agreed to upon signing on with us are set in stone unless new terms are agreed upon amongst both parties. In the event of any changes, a new agreement / authorization is signed.

As for the mentioned program "The Sales Mentor" we have no connection or association with any program by that name. This is a false claim.

Lastly, while we definitely cover the earning potential and possibilities within this industry, we do not make any promises to students regarding what they will or will not earn along the way. We provide the skillsets, the guidance, and support needed to go off and take advantage of this opportunity, but we cannot guarantee any one individual's return.

We would be happy to have a conversation with this person and come to a resolution.

    Have a great day

    Customer Answer

This company took no responsibility for hiring a 20 year old kid to and incentivize them to get all the money on day 1.

The terms of my agreement were altered from what I initially agreed.

I even reached out to your billing team to discussed this matter and your team just decided to keep the money instead of BELIEVING ME the client about what had just happened.

I agreed to do in house financing and make a payment every 2 weeks.

If your 20 year old employee doesnt know how in house financing works is because you hired inexperienced kids.

Right After I got my credit card was approved I decided to use that credit card to be charged on every 2 weeks and instead you charged me the full amount calling it financed card using those words are misleading.

Total scam. I reached out immediately asking why was I charged $4,000 to my credit card and your department didnt took ownership of that.

You guys use 2 different names: The Sales Mentor and then use Limelight Media to cover your tracks.

******* works with you, you are the one offering The Sales Mentor program and FTC found your program liable of promising big money on telemarketing services. Your employees do promise this on the video calls. I requested a full refund right after I got charged and was within the *************************************************************************** time.

    Business Response

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We take feedback seriously, and Id like to address the points youve raised.

First, I want to clarify that we never promised anyone would earn $10-20k a month. What was communicated was that its possible to earn that amount. Our program is designed to teach the sales process, and results can vary based on individual effort and performance. Its important to note that the goal of the program is to equip you with the necessary tools to succeed, but success ultimately depends on how effectively you apply those skills.

Regarding the financing arrangement, student mentioned he agreed to in-house financing with bi-weekly payments. As per our records, he signed the agreement, completed the training, and the terms of the agreement were clearly outlined. The in-house financing was set up as described in the contract. its important to acknowledge that the agreement was signed and the training was delivered as promised.

I understand the students frustration with the billing issue, but please understand that we have already provided the agreed-upon services, including the sales training and placement opportunities. The program is a "closer academy," where our primary objective is to teach the sales process, and securing a placement or job is a bonus but we also gave that to him. Weve had many students successfully earn money through this program, Refunding the program because one was unable to earn as expected wouldn't be fair, especially considering the time and resources our team dedicated to providing the with training.

Once again, I apologize if the student feel misled in any way, but based on the agreement and the services rendered, we are unable to offer him refund. If he have any further questions or need additional clarification, feel free to reach out.

Thank you and have a great day

On 12/9/2024, I responded to an Instagram ad from **** ******, CEO of Limelight Media LLC, and received a call from Henreet, who claimed to work with the company. During our video call, he showed me the office, highlighting expensive cars and sales plaques, and scheduled an in-person meeting for the next day. On 12/10, I met with Henreet and ******* ****** at the Limelight Media office (****************************). ******* described a sales job and a 12-month training program, insisting I open an **************** account to receive payments. He assured me that I wouldn't be charged for the training until I completed it, started making sales, and was paid by the company, with all transactions handled through the **** account. He pressured me to open the account and sign a contract that day. After the meeting, I called my parents, who recognized this as illegal coercion and fraud. Less than an hour later, I closed my **** account and canceled my contract with the company in writing. On December 31, I received a notification of a $10,000 charge on my **** account. I have filed a fraud claim with **** and an incident report with the ****************************** (Officer ******, Incident #E9680974). The company continues to harass me by phone and email.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/03/2025

We pride ourselves on ethical sales and business practices and we do not resort to any form of force or manipulation in our organization.

As shown in the documents this customer has attached to the complaint, all terms are agreed upon before entering and it is clearly stated in the agreement as to the down payment and when it would be processed.

It is also clearly stated that all sales are final and that document was agreed upon and signed as well.

Our attempts in contacting this student were with the intention of understanding and being able to resolve the issue, not to harass this individual.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 01/03/2025

Your response is unacceptable. You clearly illegally and fraudulently coerce and prey on young inexperienced adults like me forcing us to open **************** accounts and then charging those accounts $10,000. The numerous pages of BBB complaints against you along with the multiple court cases in San Diego Superior Court clearly show this is an ongoing scam. I have filed a police report and will be consulting our attorney regarding further actions.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/06/2025

We respectfully deny the allegations made in your complaint. At no point do we engage in coercive, fraudulent, or illegal practices. All accounts and transactions are conducted with the full consent of our customers, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prior to any account opening or transaction, we ensure that customers are provided with clear terms and conditions and the opportunity to make informed decisions.

Regarding your reference to other complaints and legal proceedings, we want to assure you that we handle all customer matters on a case-by-case basis and resolve any disputes fairly. The presence of complaints on a public forum does not substantiate claims of wrongdoing, and we cannot comment on unrelated legal matters.

Unfortunately, your response contains multiple inaccuracies, and does not reflect the truth. I do not accept it, and request a more satisfactory resolution.

I enrolled into closer academy. The next day had another call regarding more services, spoke with same representative as before and they offered the Hight Ticket Mentorship for an additional $5k. I repeated multiple times in the call I cannot afford and additional $500 monthly payment and he got the ** of the company to come on and ******* me into signing the agreement. Less than 24 hrs later after I ran through my budget with wife I called main representative to explain I cannot move forward with secondary program but I will keep the original program I enrolled in. No services were done from secondary program or anything I called 9 am next morning. I just cannot afford second program it will put my family in a bind. He said he understood and gave the information to email so I can be cancelled and refunded from the second program. Then I was told no refund will be received to just take the program at this point.I expressed to both representative and ** I cannot afford second option and now they do not want to cancel or refund second option.I am looking to only be refunded and cancelled from second program with was an additional $5k on top of the other $5k I paid for main program. I will be filling a **** complaint as well since they were not willing to refund me, after I repeatedly let them know of my financial situation.

    Business Response

We pride ourselves on conducting clear and thorough sales presentations. Any term entered into agreement was clear and this student was made aware of our all sales final term with all programs. We never resort to "swindling" anyone into any sort of agreement with us.

As for the services for the High Ticket Mentorship program, this student was added to all private group chats with access to recordings from every session we conduct for that program and other assets as well. He was also pre registered for all upcoming workshops that we hold. We would be more than happy to still fully deliver the service as promised.

We have also informed the student that he may cancel this program if he would like, however, this does not entitle him to a refund.

Again, we are here and would be more than happy to help this student get back on track and fulfill all services that we have promised to deliver.

On August 11, 2023 I spoke with *****, who was a closer for **** ******* closing academy. I was looking for someone to teach me sales then place me with a up and running success business. The academy is originally $10k (now going for $15k..) i negotiated it down because I just graduated high school and do not have the money. Therefore, got it down to $7500, out a down payment down, then they made me get a loan to finance the rest. ***** and the program promised that there were up and running success businesses that we can work with. I go through the program, get placed with a lady whose business is not up and running and we were helping her get it up. I worked with her for almost two months? And still no change. I went back to be placed again and they told me my only two options: something with only fans and dogs Im sorry but Im not wanting to sell either. Therefore, what was promised is not true. Also, I go to log into the program a week after a year passing because I sourced my own job and I didnt have access. I then reached out to someone on ******** who works there, she told me it was in my contract but it in fact was not. It says 12 month TRAINING TERM not access to the education I paid for. I was also NEVER told that I would not have access after a year. I would not have be willing to purchase something this expensive if I knew that. Not only that but, if youre paying to learn something, college or anything like this you usually keep the education, not in this case. I then have been trying to resolve this because I am forced to pay because they made me get a loan, and I still am paying but do not have access. That doesnt sit right. Especially when I was never ever told that and I was told it was for life. I get the 12 months TRAINING but that is education I paid for as well that I should have forever. Ive been emailing them, they set me up to speak with a Vice President, then said it was unreasonable for me to talk with him. Theyve lied and ignoredme

    Business Response

    Date: 09/30/2024

In our academy, students receive "On going access" to the course material for the ************************************************************************ this complaint. This is clearly laid out in our sales presentation.

As for our placement services department. We have multiple businesses that we are partnered with to provide placement opportunities to the students who graduate. When it comes to our placement opportunity, our policy states that in order for that business to be a viable placement site for students, it must have a proper amount of lead flow and prospected customers before it can be an active site.

There are more options than the 2 that the student has given and our placement department would be happy to help this student at any time with that process.

Regarding the call with our Vice President, this call was scheduled but then cancelled understandably due to this student being called into work. We have yet to schedule a new time but we would love to get this call rescheduled so we can ensure everything is properly resolved.

Said Business does has not agreed to resolve this issue date of transaction 05/16/2024 request of refund less than 72 hours... I was on zoom call with one oof their representatives... we went through all the sales jargon.... then when I read the contract... it even mentions " no refund" which this is nor cheap ticket... after reading the agreement , qucikly ended the call only find out this guy calls me and texts me, and wore me down after 2+ hours of harassing me to join , and made all these claims how he was going to help me... But after I signed t he agreement, I soon realized that I was taken for... so I contacted the rep, and he says check it out ,,, I did an hour..., I further realized this wasnt the gig "fit" for me... and the guy kept mentioning how "IF" he didnt fullfil, " he could do something,, which was literally nothing... keeping money in which is not truly earned and unethical, and to an extent theft..... I submitted a request to cancel the agreemtent in less than 72 business hours,,, It's amazing a company can exist like this and feel entitled to money they haven't earned... Now I am out of $1500. This company certainly does not operate under a code of good ethics and clarity

We would love to resolve this issue as we take great pride in the satisfaction and success of all of our students.

Our presentation process is very thorough and we do not enter into any contract / agreement with a student without their knowledge and agreement to the terms provided. This is an "all sales final" agreement that said student knowingly signed and agreed to.

The student also began the training material and services began to be rendered after the fact.

We have a fair and thorough Resolutions Department that is actively working to resolve any issue said student has as well but he has denied meeting with them.

"Whatever" love means,  this statemmet made by the business is a disohonest claim,  Not only  I have I reached oui to them, but they have been sent at least 2 legal letters, and still no resolve,  they don't mention how they use  vile and manipultive tactics  to lure people in to a a contract...the kid continously texted and called  me to wear be down to paying for .. after the fact I ended the call,,, is that not enough to leave someone alone.?

the only way to resolve this issue ... it to do the the ethical and fair thing and issue a refund..  No one in their correct mind after being manipulated, would want any other results, let alone, work with a company like this at any capacity.... If you had any good ethics left in you,,,, there wouldn't be this game of back and forth.. you simply would do what is the right thing to do....

As previously mentioned our presentation process is very thorough and we do not enter any agreement with any student without full understanding and agreement to the terms listed. This student even mentioned his understanding of the agreement before he signed it.

We pride ourselves on our ethics and we do not manipulate anyone to go through with our services. I've attached the agreement that was signed for reference.

Our Resolutions department is on standby and is looking forward to hearing from this student so we can reach a solution.

Good ethics is realizing , that not all your representatives use a Good code of ethic, ,,, you claim you have a good code of ethic, though that is farther  from the truth, ,, So in claiming good presentation, does that include  your sales personel  texting, and calling relentlesly  until a person gets wore down?  is that ethical?  I think not, The first reason I hung up om your sales rep, because I I didnt like the agreement,.. don't you feel a good sales professional ," gets the hint".. if a prospect  hangs up on them?...I'll stay on top of this until  you decide to do the right thing... which at this point you have not. Keeping money you have not rightfully earned... is 100% poor code of ethics... and please stop lying about how there was "good presentation" because there not....

On July 19, 2023 I paid *************************** of Limelight Pages and Media $5,200. She claimed to be a literary agent. ****** told me she would publish my book, send copies to traditional publishers, and create a website for me. She did not use email, so I couldn't submit my book. There is a phone number for that company, but it is not in service, so I didn't reach *************************** or ***************.I want to warn writers that Limelight Pages and Media is not legitimate, and that ****** and **** are thieves. I told them I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, that I am paralyzed, and that I type with only three fingers of my right hand. My situation is dire, but I'm an author holding a dozen manuscripts. ****** and **** took advantage of my situation. I hope to find a real literary agent, not a fake. *********************** at ************ or ***********************

    Dear ***********************,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the distress this situation has caused you. However, it seems there has been a misunderstanding, as our company, Limelight Media, LLC, is not affiliated with Limelight Pages and Media, ***************************, or ***************.
Our company does not publish books nor do we have any literary agents. We teach people high ticket remote sales and closing.

We understand how frustrating this experience must be, especially given your circumstances. To resolve this issue, we recommend contacting the BBB directly to ensure your complaint is directed to the correct company. Additionally, you might consider reaching out to legal authorities or consumer protection agencies to report this matter and seek further assistance.

We hope you find the resolution you deserve and a trustworthy literary agent who can support your publishing goals. If there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know.
    Best regards,

    Gage French
    Director of Delivery
