I don't like writing negative reviews, but if any place deserves one it is this establishment. For years I put my trust in this conglomerate (since 2006) of dental offices, another office in Arcadia and this one in San Dimas. I tend to keep my dealings close to where I live. I recently relocated and no longer reside a few minutes from the dental office. The drive from my present location (San Clemente) became very inconvenient, more than an hour's drive in traffic.
DENTAL INCOMPETENCE
For the most part, the dental work I received from this group was adequate. Their top periodontist did work on a crown that fell off four (4) times. I'm no dentist, but the reason was pretty obvious to me, so the second time it fell off I mentioned to her what I believed the cause might have been, which she dismissed. Weeks later, she finally admitted what the problem was and corrected it on the fifth try, though, a second gum surgery was necessary to make it right. As it turned out, my belief was correct. She took off too much height from natural tooth, leaving the remaining post too shallow for the crown to adhere to. Due to her incompetence, after that bout, I asked to never have her work on my teeth again.
PATIENT FINANCIAL MISMANAGEMENT
If that's not enough, after a long conversation with my CIGNA agent, I learned the dental office failed to respond to the insurance company's request for information which would determine whether a particular claim, or portion thereof, would be approved or denied. Since the dental office failed to respond, the claim was denied. Guess who ended up paying?
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY
What I have learned, is they will smile and be nice to you as long as they're getting your money. Not that I would recommend them, but should you decide to utilize the services of this dental office, keep your eye on the financial ball.

They lie and stonewall when it's their turn to pay up.
