1 starLiars and com artists! On two occasions the driver pretends to pick me up, didn't show and when I attempted to get my money back ,Lfty was no help! There is a new scam out there folks. The drivers make it seem like they pick you up on the app but not true and trying to get your money back is nearly impossible! At least **** returns the funds.Review fromRosemary B

1 starLyft. Does any one use this car services? I would like to tell you a story about an experience I had this week with Lyft and ask you to never use them again I got in the Lyft car with very, very loud rap (think that was the type) music. I have listened to rap music through most of my adult life through **** and now ***** However, this music had vulgar and cuss words throughout every song. I ask her to turn the music down. She turned it down slightly. The rude songs continued. I asked if she would change the station. She changed the station to the same type of station - non stop vulgar music and cuss words. When I got out of the car I asked her how her other passengers handle the music. She said they just focus on where they are going. When I got out of the car I said I have a bit of advice - you should turn down the speakers in the back. Before I got back to my apartment I get a call from Lyft saying Ive been banned from Lyft because I made a derogatory comment to the driver. I explained to them the detail of the trip. They said I could challenge my ban by sending an email. So I wrote a detail email about my trip. I also attached clips of the music she had been playing. After all this I talked to Lyft today and I am officially permanently banned. I spoke to Lyft, pushing the truth. No flexibility, permanently banned. No detail on what they think i said - it was confidential. Honestly I would never use Lyft again but I hate being accused of something I didnt do. Its very frustrating how upset I am.Review fromRonette N

1 starLyft left me stranded without my phone! The driver overshot the address. I was looking at my phone to see exact suite #. He asked me if this was the location. I look up, tell him I do not know I've never been here. It's my job orientation. He had pulled into the wrong address, he points and says I know it's over there somewhere. In a state of panic, I must have set in my phone on the seat. I'm worried about being late so I tell him I will walk over. Thinking I'm saving us both time. I discovered immediately I left my phone. I missed my orientation. I stand outside waiting. Thinking another passenger would find it. He wouldn't know how to get a hold of me, or what suite I went to. So I wait outside for about an hour. No results. I go inside the building. State my situation. I'm not from the area so I panic on how I'm going to get home. It was approximately 6 mi away to where I'm staying. Thank God for kind people. They allowed me to use the ******************** It took approximately 40 minutes to get through to Lyft. No phone # to resolve anything. Another 30 minutes before the driver calls the location I'm at. He's not able to get my phone to me as quick as I thought. He did state it was found right away. I wouldn't get my phone for 90 plus minutes. Could he just drop it off at the address he picked me up. I said how am I supposed to get home out my phone????? A lady in the office overheard the conversation. She was leaving for lunch. She said she'd drive me home. I told him yes that thankfully I found a ride home. I didn't get my phone until several hours later. Only to be charged $31+ for 6 miles!! Lyft charged me for my phone back!!!!! Yes, I am partially at fault!! All these fees left me with $4 in my acct. I was starting a new job, I have money put aside for my rides to orientation, fingerprinting & CPR class. Now I can't work due to missed orientation. I wouldn't have left my phone if I was taken to the right address! LYFT didn't care!!!Review fromSarah D

1 starGot charged for an $80 damage fee that I did not cause. It's too bad I caught it at a much later time. Did not receive an email about this. According to Lyft, if the driver took pics, it's the passenger's fault. So if the driver makes a mistake or scams a passenger, the passenger needs to pay regardless. Anyone can take pics of damages. A pic or video of the passenger actually causing the damage would be a lot more believable.Review fromAlicia B

1 starAs of recent i have been having to use lyft . The worst experience of my life the drivers are rude inpatient and very disgusting . Majority of the cars are probably not passing expections. Today was the last straw for me i will never use lyft again. The driver kept going off my route just to ask her a simple question to ma'am where are you going . My ride was 18 mins from my locations which turns into 35 mins because she decided to ignore me catch a attitude and end my ride in the middle of no where all while calling me every racist name she can think of . The old me would give her a slapping but not worth my soon to be nursing degree . This has been my 5 bad experience with lyft the drivers never have customer service want to take the route they want cars are always smelly and looks to be falling apart ran down motors and bad attitudes . I can see this platform being taking down sooner then expected not only is the customer service terrible you have to deal with men drivers trying to have relations with you instead of just being respectful and driving to your destinations in a safely manner. So far **** has been ok with me yes it's a little more pricey but the platform overall is way safer and pleasantReview fromBrenda G

1 starI used Lyft 3 times and every time, it charged me waiting time even though I was not late. It appeared that Lyft took a step to charge waiting time little by little to make extra money from customer. One of the ******************** drivers out of my 3 drives was rude, offered no help and just parked there even though he saw me walking toward him with luggage. This driver also complained that I had too many luggage pieces even though there are still plenty of spaces in his vehicle so I am not sure what he wanted? Overall, I felt like Lyft was cheating on consumers by dishonestly charging on waiting time on every ride even though Lyft should not do so. Unlike ********** has a policy of 2 minutes wait time but I have no idea what is Lyft policy on the wait time?Review fromChristine J

2 starsI've had decent experiences in the past but today was a bad experience so I doubt I'll use Lyft again. They increased the price of a ride within seconds and when I scheduled the pickup one driver confirmed 4 minutes away but then another driver 10 minutes away picked up the ride. But then that driver was not moving and the clock was ticking. I ended up jumping in my car to make my appointment. Lyft's nonsense screwed up my morning.Review fromBethAnn T

1 starI was charged a different amount than what was quoted. ****** was the individual handling my complaint. I was asked for a screenshot of the quoted price, which I didn’t have. Then was given excuses about distance- THAT WAS KNOWN WHEN I PUT THE PICK UP ADDRESS AND DROP OFF ADDRESS AND DIFFERENT BOOKINGS WERE OFFERED! I picked the SAVE AND WAIT AMOUNT WHICH WAS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST and was under $12. I was charged $15.71. Then I get the excuse of wait time. THERE WAS NONE, I WAS OUTSIDE WAITING LIKE 5 MINUTES FOR THE DRIVER! Then came the added stops that increased the price…. THERE WAS NONE!! The drivers name was *******. I was then told without a screenshot they cannot refund me. Basically I was called a liar! I have dealt with Lyft in different states and I NEVER had this issue before. Seems the quality of drivers and the conditions of some of their cars is becoming questionable! Also customer service is not as good as it should be! The company has shady business practices and they are possibly protecting drivers that are ripping people off!Review fromCole D
