      Beware of their 30 day return policy. I thought I was returning within time but they go by THEIR shipped out date. Not the date you actually receive the item. I was 4 days past their 30 day window so they returned the item to me. I choose Target and Amazon now over this. They have great return policies-convenient and no questions asked most times. Gap just said sorry they disappointed me and now Im stuck with $70 jeans that dont fit. Ugh!

      Purchased shorts online and items were shipped on 5/23/22. Two pairs of shorts were too tight for my daughter . On 6/26/22, drove 15 minutes to the ******** store to return the items. Had receipt and tags on the shorts as they were never worn. Was told by the sales clerk that their refund policy changed on May 1, 2022 and she could not return the items, even for store credit, since it was more than 30 days. (Their old policy was 45 days to return/ store credit after 45 days. My return was just 34 days since ship date, but she was not permitted to make any exceptions to their 30 day return policy. She suggested that I call customer service as they sometimes will honor a return post 30 days. Called customer service on 6/26/22 and the rep, said she could not authorize the return but would connect me to a team leader. When I spoke to the team leader, I explained that I was unaware of their new return new policy, but could an exception be made since return was only 4 days late and was in the window of their prior 45 day policy. She was unmoved and would not authorize the return. Tried to explain that when I ******* "******** 's return policy", the ********/Gap site comes up first on the search and still lists 45 days on the screen. It's only when you actually click on the link to the store. that it shows the new policy. She blamed the misinformation on ******* but added that she would pass that information along.Finally, asked why ******** didn't alert the customer of the new return 30 no-exception policy on the online receipt since this was a big change from their previous policy. She reiterated that it was on their web site. Seems fraudulent not to include this change on the email receipt given the number of years their 45 day return policy was in effect. I am now out @ $60.00 and stuck with shorts that won't be worn. Loyal customer to ********/**********************/& ********************** for 20 plus years- and now feel scammed. I will not shop there again.

      First purchase from this website, two separate packages for delivery En route. My last package containing two baby onesies was marked as delivered late last night around 10PM. I have two long driveways and did not hear or see anyone, but still checked outside of my front door, and even walked down to the mailbox to check if the package was placed there. I couldnt find it anywhere so gave up. Last night we had bad storms lasting into early this morning consisting of downpouring rain, thunder and lightening causing us to lose power for two hours in the night. This morning once the weather cleared, I walked out to my car to see a crumpled up, extremely battered, wet and DIRTY Gap shipment bag thrown onto the windshield of my car that was parked halfway down the driveway. Of course I didnt see it late last night in the dark. There were some puncture holes in the bag and everything inside as well as out was dirty and wet. I contacted the company to let them know how upset I was and they werent willing to do anything to resolve this issue

      Received a babygap outfit as a gift from my mother-in-law in the mail. They didnt include any info AND left the security sensor on the outfit. Ive been on the phone and chat with four different reps today for over an hour, sent an email and received an unmonitored inbox response despite it being the contact info on their Instagram account, and No resolution. They promised a call from their escalation team in 3 hours. Nothing. I asked the last person I spoke with to please send me possible resolutions by email because I cant spend any more time on the phone hashing this out and nothing. They refuse to exchange the outfit for a new one without a security sensor. Or rather, they told me I can go to a store (incredibly inconvenient option), or have my mother-in-law do the exchange for me. She gave me a gift, now Im supposed to call her and complain about the gift she gave me and ask HER to deal with their terrible customer service?? ********************** made the error here, leaving a security sensor on, and now theyre putting an unnecessary onus on the customer to fix their mistake.

      Takes way to long for a refund for a return and your get foreigners you can't understand....and they lie to you I done shopping with the GAP it's been 15 day waiting for $120 to go back into my account for my return....

      I purchased a set recently that totals to $99.92 CAD before tax, with discount it comes to $59.95 +tax should come to $62.95 including FREE SHIPPING because they offered free shipping for any orders OVER $50. HOWEVER upon payment, I chose PayPal and was sent an invoice that totaled to $71.35 then I went back to the website to recreate the buying process and found out that if you paid with PayPal, it bypasses the shipping options. BEWARE!! when you choose to pay with PayPal, apparently any THIRD PARTY options automatically cancels free shipping. I called in the following day and was told that information as a matter of fact. I asked why they didn't have that disclaimer because knowing that information firsthand I wouldn't have chosen PayPal instead. To make things worse, I have a copy of the "invoice" they sent me showing the $8 shipping and the order details page saying "free shipping". What a scam. The operator told me that she will cancel the shipping fee but what a hassle of my time and a scam if I didn't catch on! If people aren't diligent in checking because they TRUST the company, they have no idea that a BIG CORP scams their customers.

      Failed to deliver jeans I ordered, and refused to refund me. It is theft, and they are so big, they do not care.
