    Over the past few months, I have been employed by Remotasks.com in a freelance capacity. Everything was proceeding smoothly until the account I had with them was abruptly suspended. Not only did they suspend my account, but they also failed to compensate me for the final project I completed for them, despite the fact that I had invested considerable effort into producing high-quality work. Because I devoted so much time and weary nights to working for them, this is a highly disrespectful method of exploiting freelancers. In an attempt to generate income, I was compelled to sell valuable moments spent with my family; however, my efforts ultimately proved futile.Paying me for the labour I put in prior to the suspension of my account is all I ask; I certainly deserve it, given that it was my hard-earned money. Additionally, I request that Remotasks provide a transparent explanation for the suspension of my account, as I was diligently performing to the best of my knowledge the last time I checked.Thanks as you help us settle this ethically and fairly.

    For the past couple weeks I have been traveling out of the country. I avoided tasking as I did not want to be flagged for using a VPN, however, my account has been disabled because of an account related issue.I did not use a VPN nor did I task while outside of the country. The only issue is, I did forget to log out of my account before my departure.My last completed task was November 12, before I began my journey.At first I received an email stating it was because I had low quality.But this is my recent feedback, with a sum of 5/5: Your Quality ******************* Text Collection Last updated 4 minutes ago 5/5 ****************** A Text Collection Last updated 19 days ago 5/5 I have created numerous tickets already, with the issue still being unresolved. Upon taking this job, I was unaware we could not travel out of the country at all as I frequently travel.I carefully avoided any tasking outside of my own country and am very frustrated to be falsely penalized for using a VPN!

    I've been working with company for a few months now, and aside from the occasional late payment everything was decent. Starting on November 6th, and continuing until this day I have not received any payments. That is also when this started to feel like a scam, I was told my rate of pay is $25 an hour. That's double remotasks base pay, and this project was no where as hard as the last one. I filed a ticket that a TSM told me was escalated. I've been checking in every other day for an update with no response. I finally got one yesterday that was the same canned response, "it's been escalated." My time is no longer showing up in Hubstaff (used to track our hours worked), the only proof I have that I did work was screenshots. I have taken screenshots of all my one sided conversations and the occasional canned responses. This company is scamming people on a daily basis. The slack channels are full of confused contractors asking for help into a void. They rarely respond to questions about anything. It's easy to get removed from a project for low quality with out ever knowing the reason for the low quality. It's not uncommon for people to go weeks or months without pay, and just give up and leave the platform. This company should not be allowed to operate, or even exist, like this. Hiw many people are unpaid if I'm still waiting on support to even get to my ticket a month later? I also feel that, based on my research into the topic, they may be missclassifying employees as IC. I have reached out to ask what exactly makes me an IC and not an employee. I have not gotten a response back to that yet.

    I have been dealing with Remotasks and their lack of payment for over 4 weeks. After several back and forth's with their "Support and Payments team" (Payments team whom I never once heard from and was middle manned the entire conversation. After 4 weeks of being owed nearly $1000 I am told by their "Middle Man" that my work was not up to their quality standards which is completely false as they began assigning me larger tasks and more responsibilities for the quality of work I was providing. This was denied by both the remotasks and their partner the "Bulba Team". Yet when the bonuses were below $100 for the prior two weeks I was given those with no questions asked.I have provided proof of all incentives as well as proof of the given score for the quality of work that they gave me and I needed to maintain in order to qualify for the bonus pay that was being sent out.Ultimately I feel this is completely dishonest on the companies behalf and an excuse to give free labor. The platform did not even work 80% of the time during this "incentive period" making it nearly impossible to complete the tasks they were assigning.

    I recently discovered my state ID was being used on Remotasks and Remotasks is complicit in allowing this criminal act.I have been successfully completing projects on Remotasks for a while now, and was recently added to the ************************** so I had to re-verify my ID. After it was rejected multiple times, I submitted a support ticket along with a selfie photo holding up my ID for them to review, to which I was told after the investigation that the other account "is a legitimate account and has met all the requirements for approval" and that "Unfortunately, due to this, there is no way for you to verify this account as it has already been approved."I responded to the support ticket expressing that this is not a satisfactory solution and that I will take further legal action if necessary. I've already filed an identity theft report online and am looking into other ways to navigate this situation and get my ID back. This isn't fair to me as I am being victimized in this situation with zero help from Remotasks. I really, truly need assistance and a resolution here or I will take legal action of some sort. Currently reviewing my options now.

    My account was suspended for no valid reason and I was asked to file an appeal which I did but Remotasks has never reached back regarding this.I had pending payments for over 30 hours of work which has never been disbursed.This is so unfair considering I sacrificed a lot of time giving my best and expected Remotasks to be fair to me. I never violated any Terms of Use and would appreciate it if they looked at this again and reinstated my account, or if not then pay me for the work I had done.

    Remotasks owes me 890.96$ for services rendered and that doesn't even include the $100 for the training/orientation that I was supposed to be paid.

    I am self employed and the clients work with uses Remotasks -who has arbitrarily shut down my account with no specific reason and have threatened to hold the monies I made for no reason. I would like them to release funds, explain the reason - of effigy there should be no reason - as fellow freeelance colleagues have also been kicked off their platform and would love to be reinstated- as this is my main source of income.     Remotasks requires a set of practice tasks to be completed before beginning other paid work on the website. Remotasks advertises you can take as much time as you possibly need, with no due date or time limit, to complete said tasks. These 5 tasks require hours of work and research, as well as effort. They can be compared to college assignments. After completing 4/5 assignments, which took a couple days, when I logged on to complete the final assignment I was told my work was reviewed and rejected and I could not be accepted as a worker for the websites other tasks. I had emailed support asking what happened as the site said I did not have a time limit and was promised a total of $75 once the practice tasks were completed and if I had completed five more tasks after that. Support ignored my inquiry as to why my work was automatically submitted if I was told there was no time limit and I did not complete the final task. They refused to answer me that one question directly and just told me the decision was final and irreversible. I dedicated hours of my time to be scammed out of a monetary incentive.
