I invested with Coinlist and made great investments. But when it came to time to withdraw my funds I am having difficulties. They keep asking for more funds and upselling. I have over $750k of my own funds plus $900k in gains owed to me. When I tried initially to withdraw they stated I needed to pay taxes on my winnings which was over $230k. I paid them. Once I cleared then they stated I owed them $130k to clear what they said was money laundering. Which I was not. I paid that too. But now they still wont release the funds stating I am in a que and need to pay $100k to become a VIP member. Which I have not done so. So my funds are still frozen for no reason. I feel this site is a scam and fleecing innocent people. I would like to get my money back. Their site and app are still up and running.

Hello dear BBB staff: On January 5, 2022, my family and I participated in the token sale of Coinlist. The token project is: Agoric, and I deposited ****USD to Coinlist. But Coinlist refused to distribute the tokens to me on the grounds that I had provided a duplicate recipient address, and refused to refund me. I submitted a payment address to my family, which is easy to manage, which is incomprehensible. It is no different from robbery. There is no organization in the world that would rob a customer's assets for such a stupid reason. This is a serious violation of the law. Due to the impact of the epidemic, my family and I lost our jobs last month. This money is very important to our family. I hope BBB can help me recover the remaining ****USD, thank you very much.I have five identical receipts.

I made a deposit on 5/29/2022, and found the platform hard to use and I'm not interested in using it. I want to withdraw my balance, and they will not let me. Every time I try to withdraw, it says it will be available in 4-5 business days, and it's now been 11 and counting. The deposit I made cleared my account the next business day, and there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to withdraw my funds. They don't have a phone number, and when I sent them an email, they closed my ticket without helping me or even replying to me (just "your ticket has been marked as resolved"). I replied that my issue was not resolved, even emailed two more times, and they will not answer me. I'm starting to think I got scammed.

    Re: Complaint Number: ********

    To whom it may concern,

I am writing in response to the Better Business Bureau complaint number ********, which was submitted on 06/13/2022 by *******************. CoinList Markets, LLC (the Firm) has contacted this individual and provided what we believe to be an adequate resolution to their complaint. A description of the complaint and resolution process has been detailed below.

The complaint issued by this customer alleges that they were unable to withdraw funds from CoinList, and that they had to wait a total of 11 days to withdraw their funds, even though the time frame stated was 4-5 days in turnaround time.

Upon receipt of this complaint, the Firms compliance department conducted an internal investigation into the matter. Upon investigating, the Firm concluded that **** was indeed able to withdraw their funds. Their funds had not cleared when they initiated the withdrawal attempt, and therefore the wait time was longer than stated. This outcome has been communicated to this customer via email. Therefore, the Firm considers this complaint resolved.

    Sincerely,

    *************************-Waelser

I am rejecting this response because that statement is absolutely untrue, and they are aware of that.

The funds cleared my bank the day after my deposit to them, and I sent them screenshots from my bank to prove it.

They finally let me withdraw, but only after I reported them to the BBB, the Attorney General and the ******** ************************************.

This was 100% not a matter of my funds taking time to clear.

Since I have my money now, I dont require anything else, but I want the record to be clear and accurate as far as what actually happened.

    Sincerely,

    *******************

In early March of 2022 I started investing with CoinList Pro (******), a crypto trading platform. This platform is run by CoinList Markets (aka CoinList.co). On or about 3/8/22, I moved $1000 (in the crypto form of USD Coin, a stablecoin) from Coinbase to the CoinList Pro platform. Executed fast trades (on ******) resulting in a profit according to the ****** platform . On 3/9, I believe, I moved another $5.1k (as USD Coin) to CoinList Pro. Further fast trades resulted in additional gains according to ******. I subsequently moved another $15k on/about 3/16/22 to ****** (from CoinBase). With more fast trades, ****** indicated further gains to my assets on their site. On 3/25, I moved $60k from CoinBase Pro (Cb Pro) to CoinList Pro as USDT (Tether), another crypto stablecoin. Trading on 3/27 resulted in a very significant gain as reported by CoinList Pro. After this gain, my total assets on the platform, according to ******, exceeded $600k (as USDT).At this point, I attempted transfer some of those crypto assests on ****** back to Cb Pro so that I convert it back to US Dollars (in order to transfer back to my bank accounts). ****** stopped the attempted xfer indicating that I needed to send them an additional $60k to cover income tax liability. It seemed highly unusual that they would not simply deduct the tax liability from my asset gains on their platform. I consulted with a financial advisor (at *********************). He agreed that the request for extra funds for tax seemed rather unusual but not (necessarily) illegal. On 3/29, I transferred another $30.3k from my bank to Cb Pro (to convert USD to USDT) and then to ****** to partially pay the requested tax. Applied for a loan (frm PenFed CU) for $20k to help pay the tax balance. Rcvd this late April & paid ****** $30k on 5/9 to pay th tax balance. But, even tho they acknowledged the tax was paid, attempts to withdraw assets have failed and ****** Customer Support stopped responding to me after 5/10/
