Do not ever send anything to the real real because all they do is lie and say they will accept something of yours until they receive it and then you find out they dont!!!Then they don't return your property until 30 days later!!!!

The RealReal is by far the most dishonest and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. And let me be clear: they are NOT real. They held my designer bag for over a month without publishing it, while feeding me daily lies like wait until tomorrow. Because of this, I lost multiple full-price buyers. No explanation, no accountability just delay after delay, lie after lie.On top of that, I was explicitly promised a $300 credit for August sales. Instead, they sent me $100. I have everything recorded and written that proves this promise, yet they continue to lie to my face as if the evidence doesnt exist. This is not luxury service. This is fraud dressed up as fashion. The RealReal? No they are NOT real. Customers deserve the truth, not deception. Stay away.

Used to be a positive experience. Consigned and purchased from them for over 8 years. Now my calls to my account *** go unanswered. If you try and call customer service, you are transferred to someone in ***** who only responds from a script. Gone are the days that ** has excellent customer service and cared about their clients. STEER CLEAR of this business !

Be alert !!! The RealReal sold FAKE bag! I purchased a ************* Monogram *****, on Aug 24, 2025, and received on August 27. When i first received the bag, I felt "too good to be true", as the bag is so new, and with an original purchase receipt inside , which said the bag was purchased in this June. And then I opened the bag, felt the stitches inside the magnetic snap were kind of messy, which was a red flag. And then i carefully check some stitches inside the bag, feeling not too right. But from this , i was just in doubt. And then I checked on similar ***** bag in different websites, and what a shock, the bag I had , the Trademark is OFF. There is no circled R above "Louis ******** , from the LV webiste, other prestigious websites, like Fashionphie, Rebag, and even their own website, I could not find another bag with similar style which has no Circled R above " Louis ******** Logo, and found out the Trademark inside the bag and shoulder strap had Circled R, but they were in the wrong place, supposed be above "Louis ********, as I searched on line, but the one i had on the side of "Louis ******** LOGO. So instantly, I was sure the bag is Fake, I contacted the Realreal customer service where the nightmare started. Many chats and emails were back and forth from August 27, the first day I received to today. As negotiation, I shipped the bag back and they received the bag in Sept 2. And then after one week today, i got the email that "As per our internal team, Branding is consistent for style." I am so speechless, how it possible the trademark is OFF, the bag is authentic ? i emailed them back said i will just go ahead and dispute my credit card, there is no way to accept this FAKE bag back to me! As their policy said if the bag is Fake, I will get the refund, or will ship back to me or consign it. Again, how it possible the trademark is OFF, the bag is authentic! What a nightmare! Will not deal with the realreal again anytime!

Would give zero stars if I could. Dont use this site. For whatever reason my brand new ************* bag was sent back and when I inquired, I got a long laundry list of how it was not in shape to sell. Telling me there are rips and tears and issues with the lining? This just isnt true. At least Im getting my bad shipped back. But all in all a terrible waste of time. **************** also was bad. On hold forever and the person doesnt seem to know whats going on.

I consigned a Russian Barguzin sable straight stole from Neiman ****** early in 2025. I trusted their experts to know what they had; anyone who knows anything about fur would. It was listed as an unbranded vintage fur, and the description said looks like real fur. It was insured for $10,000, and sold for $295. It was in very good condition having been stored and cleaned professionally. I realize that furs sell for far less than their former retail prices, but this is unconscionable. I wrote as soon as I saw it had sold, before I even saw the listing, and never received a response.

Selling products here is a complete disappointment. When you want to sell products you bought for hundreds of thousands of dollars, The ********* pays you 10-15% of the sales price the following month. In other words, they sell my $200 value belt for $85 and pay me $17. I have filed a civil court case against this unfair cooperation and I declare that I will do what is necessary against the company with a few volunteer influencers.

The RealReal is a scam they sold my boots that was worth over $1100 for pennies. They are sending me a check for $24.62 and they also stated that they were charging me almost $12.50 for sending me a check. I also informed them that I put my bank information for a deposit that is supposed to be deposited faster and got no response. Ive been emailing ***** ***** and she does not reply back. I will never ever shop or sell anything to The RealReal. Buyer beware.

Do not ever use this company they will s**** you over. They told me my item would sell for *********, they told me they would contact me once authenticated, they told me I would approve the sell before it sells. Not one of those things happened. It didnt sell for ********* they said it sold for 3900 but I never seen the listing nor did I ever see it be authenticated. Then they tried to push out my payment 2 months. Told me they could do it a month from that date and that date now came and they mailed my check when I clearly have my bank information on the app. These guys are liars and scammers I cannot believe they are still in business after having so many bad reviews and not just bad reviews absolutely terrible.

Over the past year, The ********* support continues time and time again to incorrectly identify me as a seller that I am not. Theyve mailed me at least 4 boxes of lovely, upscale bags worth thousands. The bags were meant to ship someone else. At this point, I struggled with any support in making it easy to return these large boxes to areal Real to resolve. Of lately, they are trying to send me seller checks not meant for me. The compilation of all these instances puts others out of money and belongings and I have spent countless hours seeking satisfactory support. Despite the poor customer service from the platform, ****** in customer service responded with site credit far less than the money deserving for my honesty and patience. It is absolutely the worst experience Ive ever encountered. I hope this message impacts others and presses you to be cognitive of your account. For sellers, do not leave your personal information and belongings in the hands of ********* without the dedication to closely monitor.
