      I applied for a job through a company called angiservices and checkr is supposed to be running my criminal background check it was scheduled to be completed on September 12th and I still have not received the results or been able to start my job because of my background check not being completed and the information being available I've reached out 3 separate times and they don't have a customer service phone number only email communication

      I lost my livlihood in August when Checkr made Lyft aware of 2 misdemeanors that were expunged from my record 2 years ago. Worse, they sent **** the original arrest charges, which were thrown out at my court appearance in 2017.I was growing a successful career with ****, and invested $50,000 in a car to join their Black fleet. Now I am reduced to scratching a living doing DoorDash, and borrowing from my parents. Over the past month I have lost approximately $15,000 in income. I feel frustrated and helpless, with no one to speak to at Checkr or Lyft. I had 2 misdemeanors on my record which were expunged 2 years ago, but Checkr reported pre-trial charges that were never supposed to be on my record, and which now will haunt my career forever. I have obtained court documents and sent them to Checkr, with no positive result so far. I hope Checkr will allow me to get back to work soon, I dont think this is fair.

      Checkr has provided false information on my background check and failed to fix the issue since years I have been trying to get them to resolve it. I even gave them my driving record but they did nothing to assist me and it ha affected my employability.

      They have not completed my background check & its been over a month, I have no criminal or civil charges against me, never been arrested & no tickets or accidents in the past 30 years. They are interfering with my ability to get a job with both ************** They do not allow anyone to speak to a customer service, no phone calls & I have not received any communication after submitting a help ticket

Please note, there continue to be delays as clerks and representatives make their way through extensive backlogs and other requests. 

      Please also note that based on the request of the companies you have applied to work with, we *** search counties where you currently live or that *** be associated with your address history, and those counties *** or *** not keep electronic records.       I am rejecting this response because: this is completely unacceptable, they are hindering my ability to earn extra income. I've never been arrested, or charged with a criminal or civil penalty & have no accidents or tickets within the past 30 years. I can submit an official report from TXDPS from there website within minutes and only cost $2.00 two dollars .

      Based on the request of the companies you have applied to partner with, we *** search counties where you currently live or that *** be associated with your address history. These searches *** include available and legally reportable records associated with your name, date of birth, and other available personal identifying information.

      I have been trying to get employment from the following companies and they are currently using checkr as a background service Amazon, Instacart, ddi spark ******* delivery. They kept running a report to my drivers license number in the system incorrectly my drivers license number has two zeros in the front of my number and they are running it without the zeros which is causing inaccurate results how I know this Uber and Lyft due in November 21 2021 and came back successfully with the two zeros in the front this has been going on for 2 months and it been re investigation multiple times with the same results I have sent them copy of the report showing them were the problem is and still have not fixed it

      I attempted to drive for Uber and Lyft and was denied because of a false report by Checkr to these companies. I had a 1st offense felony, paid all costs, followed all court orders and was told by judge that conviction and history would be removed. Checkr found the charge and lied to Uber and Lyft. They committed libel and I will also be talking to an attorney next week about this defamation against me.

      This company deliberately and intentionally went back on my bg check further than the employers 7 year policy, causing me to lose employment in the process. I was deactivated from Uber August 2022 for a felony charge that was committed in 2007. However, Ive taken probably 7 or 8 checkr backgrounds in the last 3-4 years, and all came back clear. I jus recently passed a bg check for grubhub in Feb 2022. Now all of a sudden I have a lawsuit against law enforcement for falsely arresting me-my current checkr bg for Uber includes a conviction from 2007. Checkr know that they are wrong for doing a lifetime bg check, for which at this point, was only passed as law in California. I dont live in **********, I live in in **********. They refuse to fix this problem and instead perform bg checks at their time length and discretion. As oppose to what the company paying them, is telling to do. Fix the problem CHECKR.. You people are wrong and you know it. They keep sending me a map stating that Im located an a area where lifetime bg checks are permitted. Thats totally beside the point- If a company pays you to go back 7 years on a bg check. You go back 7 years on a bg check. You dont do what you feel like doing. A suit will definitely be filed against you if this issue isnt fix soon.

I dont understand whats so hard about doing what you are paid to do, and not being malicious with your intents. **** paid you to run a 7 year background correct? I confirmed that to be true, so that would be yes. Run the 7 year bg like your suppose to-that it, thats all.. BBB as you can see, these people are blatantly toying around. And this need to be filed as just that.

      Because they refuse to do what theyre suppose to do. The company contracted them and paid them to do a 7 year background check, and thats not what they did. They dont want to solve the problem due to their malicious intents from the start. They keep posting these generic messages and deflecting the decision to hire on the company calling for the background check. When in all actuality, they know if the company sees any type of conviction on your record-they wont hire you, even with a perfect 5 star rating with Uber. This company is evil and needs to be shut down, due to their gross cruel intentions on people for no real reason at all.

      I am rejecting this response because:These people dont get it. All they have to do is do the standard 7 year background check, which the company paid them to do. They dont want to do that though. They keep doing what they want to do, and do lifetime checks, when thats not what **** told them to do. Thats the problem BBB. And as I stated in my previous message, all their gonna do, is what they wanna do. And deflect the decision to hire on Uber. Do you see the game being played here BBB?

      I am banned from driving for Uber due to inaccurate info on a checkr background report. Claiming i was in a accident with property damage and I was not. I have a 3 year certified MVR dated today showing a clean driving history with no accidents! Also I further went on to have my auto insurance carrier run me through their system to check for accidents and nothing comes up. Have no idea how Checkr gets there info or from where but its totally inaccurate and has left me with no income. I should jump on the current class action lawsuit against them i found on line researching them today : ( apparently there are thousands of people who they reported inaccurate information on !

Checkr has not made a reasonable effort to reach out to Uber to correct their mistake which has caused this to become a financial burden on my family. They have not offered compensation for their wrong doing or even an apology on behalf of their company.

      I have been working for Uber on and off for about 7 years+. It is time for my annual background check, my motor vehicle has cleared but my criminal report has been in pending for a month . August 11th, 2022 the report was initiated, it is now September 14, 2022. With this type of delay I am not able to work on Uber and am falling behind on bills and have a 2 year old daughter to care for. Checkr has no idea of the timeline and simply dont care. They blame it on recent changes to accessing court records. Even with that background checks do not take this long . I am able to do more serious tasks that return a background check in 10 days **** Checkr needs to take more initiative in getting this taken care of soon or I will have to file a lawsuit
