    I wish I would have read this before I put any money in Coinbase. It was able to take my money, but it can't verify me. Over and over I have taken pictures of my Drivers license and talk to help, but everytime I try to log in It wants to verify me and then tells me it can't. They were happy to take my money, but now I can't access my account.

    Several months ago, I sent $1000+ worth of $POPCAT (a SOL SPL token, and yes, it's the right one) to my SOL wallet address on Coinbase. At the time, Coinbase did not support SPL tokens aside from SOL itself, and I reluctantly accepted the loss. Will be filing a complaint with the ***************************************************************** (****)However, $POPCAT has since been officially listed for spot trading on Coinbase. Coinbase also announced that their "Asset Recovery System" now supports recovery of SOL SPL tokens.Given that:$POPCAT is now a listed, tradable asset on their platform,Their recovery system now claims to handle SOL SPL tokens,And most importantly, the transaction is fully confirmed on Solscan showing my $POPCAT was successfully delivered to Coinbases SOL hot wallet,There is no excuse for Coinbase to refuse the recovery of my funds. They are holding my $500 worth of $POPCAT tokens funds that are verifiably in their custody and refusing to return them.This is theft, plain and simple.Coinbase cannot hide behind old policies when they now publicly profit from trading the same asset they are stealing from their users.Their behavior is deceptive, unethical, and potentially criminal. I've already spoken to their customer service NUMEROUS times, either they don't know their own regulations or rules and they are EXTREMELY unhelpful, but they literally don't know what to do in my case and sometimes im stuck in their chat for hours.Because of this, I am not only filing this complaint here on the BBB I am also filing complaints with the ***************************************************** (****) as well as the ********************************* it's completely unreasonable for me to be unable to withdraw for "security reasons" when they literally took my coins and money and use it for their own reserve.

    I would not leave a star. They are an organized crime syndicate that will rip you off and work with the scammers. They recovered my money and stole it. Now that I know ****** works with them I hate ****** too. They will ruin your financial life period and lie about it. They are criminals. F*** them.

    ********* my subscription in December of 2024. Deleted the app and stopped using it, ***** came along and I was going through my transactions on my bank records, come to find theyve been securing *****+ a month still. Contacted their support a few times and they refuse to issue me a refund even when my history proves they I have not used their membership one but.This company is fraudulent and support is ran by spineless brainless people overseas. Highly displeased and do not recommend them for trading. *****************************.

    Bought crypto from my coinbase wallet, And coinbase sent to wrong address. I was told they would not refund, and for now on, don't buy from wallet only exchange. I said why is there a buy button with wallet if you can't buy? So I asked for refund again. Waiting, if no refund, I will pull all funds and never use again......

    ******! Coinbase is a rip off. All the reviews say it is good for beginners so I signed up and sent in$1520 to buy online. I then discover i need Coinbase Wallet to buy online soni try to get the money back to the account it came from..I'm charged a fee so that only $1487 is turned back to cash. I try to transfer the funds and it says I can't due to insufficient funds. I called and am told there is a ***** hold until I can move the funds out of coinbase. What a rip off!

    Yesterday I deposited $950, bought 950 USDC and Coinbase sent me an email saying that this money was available to trade. When I tried to send it to someone's crypto address, they displayed a message saying that it will be possible on April 8th 2025 11:59 pm. Almost 1 week to allow me to trade my money! They are liars, not trustworthy. My bank already debited my money today, so Coinbase has my money. Will they use it to do business while I can't do nothing? Is this happening with a lot of people? The crypto world is supposed to be faster and less expensive than traditional banks. Not in this case. Horrible experience.

    On January 19 -20 2021 my account was hacked. Someone conducted numerous purchases against my account both purchases and sales. I never had enough money in my linked bank account to cover the fraudulent charges made against my account.I immediately notified Coinbase and reported the unauthorized charges. I thought this was resolved years ago. I recently transferred $ from my Binance wallet and Coinbase has froze my money and is demanding I pay for the reported fraud. I was/ am a victim in this situation. If someone steals my car and gets into an accident, the accident is not my fault. Same logic here, someone stole my account and did something bad, it is not my fault.
