    Varo gets my SSI now I can't get to my account and **********************, I showed my Arizona ID and phone number, I haven't been able to get into my account or **********************, direct deposit , it's been over a month, I don't know why $700 savings and last I know it $900 checking,

    I was told my complaint didn't qualify as a dispute? My problem is I purchased 2 items and didn't receive anything? So I paid for nothing and have no way of contacting the merchant on this matter and Varo can't help with this?

    Would not even want to give a star. The suspended my account. And then locked it. They wont tell me whats going on and wont allow me to pull my money out of my account. Should I contact a lawyer? They refuse to help me.

    Wish I could give them 0 stars. The worst customer service i have ever expiereinced. A bank that you can never talk to on the phone other than chat. You pretty much on talk to a Bot and when they say a live person is on the line, They are as helpful as a bot. Never get a person with an American Name. They will hold your pending hotel charge for 30 days even if you show them them balance is 0. I got a personal check deposited and I had to wait 10 days. All responses are scripted. I asked them to call hotel but I was told by the human bot with an non American that they are not authorized to call. That's ?? crazy to me. But I set up my varo debit card to my apple pay and I was given a number to call the bank to finish setting up the card. So I can get someone on the phone to finalize adding my card to apple pay but can't get anyone one the phone regarding charges to my account. I really Hate Varo Bank and refused to let them hold my money hostage and I ******* ******** case on chat only. They crooks, thieves, liars and 0 stars is what I want to give. Matter of fact, take the star of and give them 0 rating

    If it could be zero stars i would leave it, transferred money into my account to purchase gas. Went to pay only to learn my account has been suspended. Followed the change password link from email and was denied. Called customer service and between the agent and manager they couldn't tell me what is happening. No help at all cant give information and put me in a horrible bind.

    Multiple fraudulent charges was on my account over $5,000 I reported it immediately to them and they denied every dispute never even truly investigated! I asked for documentation why it was denied never received. I send ****************** showing all the transactions was fraudulent and they still denied my claims even after I wait 3 months still denied when I know I never made those transactions

    I love Varo and have been with them for years. Recently, **** Eats scammed me. The driver refused to deliver our dinner and **** Eats refused to do anything about it. I went to **** for help so they could file a chargeback with ***** complete with an FTC complaint ID and lots of proof. They immediately denied it because "Varo is not responsible for quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased using a Varo Bank Account."I feel like I should trust my bank to have my back when merchant scammers are on the rise. I honestly thought they would file it with **** and really don't understand why they refuse to but it broke my trust. Really heartbroken about this because they have been amazing otherwise and I have always been a huge advocate but now I feel entirely unprotected.

    Used them for years without issue, went to check my account balance today and my accounts have been closed without warning. No way to transfer out my funds, they'll send a check for the amount in 2-3 weeks. I don't know what I did but if they're going to close my account without any reason the least they could do is give me 5-7 days notice so I could transfer/take out the $.

    SCAM!! I requested a card and was going to switch my payroll direct deposit to Varo. I received the card but NEVER activated my card or account. 8 months go by and I received a Credit Karma notice that my credit dropped 70 points because of Varo. I have emailed them and after 7 weeks of being ignored and having to hound them on social media, they decide to finally review it. Only to tell me, that what they reported to the credit bureau is fair and accurate and they won't remove it 70 points GONE off my credit score for an account I never used is INSANE.

    Not worth the hassle especially when it comes to big purchases that were refunded. I made a purchase for a car part that later found out they didnt have in stock. They refunded it on the 19th of feb and I bought on the 16th of feb. Varo has been pending since the 19th but changed the date to feb 22nd. I contacted them on why my refund is taking so long they told me I have to wait 2 business days and it has to be together and they dont consider weekends or holidays. Its now Feb 23rd and still no refund and now Im being told I have to wait until Feb 26th so total that would make it longer. I paid $540 for an item that was on back order and I shouldnt have to wait so long just for a refund when any other time it was there same day or next day. I will be closing my account once my ********************** is back and if not I will be contacting a lawyer
