  We live in a gated community surrounded by and included in a nextdoor neighborhood. Wanted them to exclude us from the neighborhood since we have no contact with those residents, so we could make our own neighborhood. They would not do that. They were unhelpful.

  Nextdoor used historical data that was available early on to form the neighborhood boundaries. We also allow the Leads and Founding Members to decide on adjustments. The neighbor can reach out to the Lead or Founding Member and ask them to make the adjustment and we allow those folks to decide if it's for the betterment of the neighborhood for that to happen.Groups are also available and you can make it private to only those who are in the gated community if you like.

  Nextdoor.com is a farce. They portray themselves as a group of neighbors in your area that look out for one another similar to a neighborhood watchdog. What they really are is a major spammer. I have tried several times to be removed from the email list and each time it says that I successfully unsubscribed however they continue emailing me. Very troubling!

  Not worth the time or release of personal information to use the site. It may have been a good platform at startup, but it's devolved into a low rate social media site full of conspiracy theories, spammers, scammers, national politics, racism, hate, and bullying, all of which violates their guidelines, yet lack of oversight and enforcement allows it to run rampant, ruining the intended purpose of the site. The site offers nothing that can't be found on other sites (ie FB's "Neighborhoods") that don't require you to divulge as much of your personal information. Stay away!!

  Signed for a business page for 93 $ or 3 dollars a day. Having signin and set up problems I emailed nextdoor , well several emails later no solution. So a posted on nextdoor to see if anyone else were having problems with emails with nextdoor.7 Days later they charge 93 again!And when they disabled my account but they have billed me 186$.I can not access my account !Not business friendly , Horrible customer service. Emails process is a beat down process.Been in business for 30 years , never would I treat a customer with so much disrespect. I would resolve the problem within 24hrs to 48hrs , not days to weeks!

  My account was disabled stating I did not have a real name on my account and or did not show my entire publicly. There is an option to show your last name or just the first initial on your personal page. I chose not to show my entire name. Today I cant log into my accounts (personal/business) because NextDoor disabled it. Either someone reported false information or the review team was gravely mistaken.
