1 starThis coming messed up basically everything that could go wrong on a simple fence repair job, and it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE trying to get it corrected. The escalations manager ******* ******* has been failing to schedule the assessment inspection needed to correct the mistakes/giving me the run-around for over 3 months. They charged the card I put on file even though the work was not completed as agreed upon. Scam alert!Some of the posts they set don't have concrete footings, they just stuck them in the dirt. None of the ones that do are flush with the existing sidewalk, but instead are below grade and collect rainwater. They used pine posts even though cedar was agreed upon. Panels that didn't line up were just filled with a bunch of screws in random directions. Absolute garbage workmanship and no accountability.Review fromWhitney W

1 starPoor project management, scheduling, communication, and workmanship.After approving a small fence repair in April, I was given a start date of May 10 and told to be home between 911AM. I rearranged my schedule, but the crew never arrived. I was informed after the window that they canceled due to raindespite having confirmed the day before. This started a long cycle of no-shows, unanswered texts, and excuses from multiple project managers. I was rescheduled for May 23, then May 26, and then May 27. Each time, the crew failed to show or canceled after arrival window.On May 27, I told the ** in writing that if they didnt arrive that day, they needed to retrieve their materials from my yard so I could move forward with another company. They didnt show. I got no response until late afternoonanother weather excuseand then a QA manager reached out offering a $100 discount if I let them do the work the next day. I did not respond.On May 28, while I was away from home, a crew showed up unannounced and began demolishing my fence without permission or my presence. I confronted the ** manager, who apologized and asked if I wanted to cancel. But I was concerned about being charged for cancellation and materials. I said I never authorized demo and asked for a steep discount. He said hed get approval, but never followed up.Hours later, he texted that the crew was almost done. I hadnt agreed to any final quote yet. He admitted he forgot to update me, then sent the discounted invoice. I told him Id be home in 15 minutes for the post-install walk-through, which is part of their contract. Of course, the crew was gone when I got home.Inspecting the work myself, I found kickboards cut and joined unevenly, visible gaps, and screws sticking out. I couldnt confirm if the posts were set in cement. I sent photos and was told the crew would come back to fix the issues. They did returnbut at nightand I had to inspect the next morning alone. 1 starAluminum fence was supposed to be installed on 4/18. They were unable to finish because according to the installers (none of who could speak English), the supplier didn't deliver enough panels. I think they ran out because when they put up the first side, they put in a single gate where it was supposed to be a double gate. I called them out on this and to fix it, they had to use additional panels. So I'm told on 4/18 they need to get more but they won't be delivered until 4/28 (not sure why installers can't simply go and get two panels from another place but okay) so waiting now another week. I get a text message on 4/28 that they can't deliver the panels, so now I have to wait another week for them to arrive on 5/5. At this point I'm trying to speak with anyone who can help because my project manager (2nd assigned PM on this job) is ignoring my texts and his phone number is not reachable. I call **************** and ask to speak with someone who can help. I'm told escalation team will call me back that day. Two days later, still no texts so I call again. I'm told that "no one on the escalation team has been available to call me in 2 days" but willl call me back that evening. My PM finally gets back with me, escalation team never does. I'm assured delivery is scheduled for 5/5. It is now 5/5, delivery has yet to arrive and once again my project manager is avoiding my texts, so I'm guessing it will once again be post-poned. Worst customer service ever and tired of the ** excuses. Their installers were incompetent and couldn't follow a plan, they blame it on the supplier, but in the end I'm the one who still has an unfinshed fence and no idea when it will be finished.Review fromFred F

1 starErgeon by far has been the worst company I have dealt with. They did not start the fence install project on the date agreed upon. Materials were delivered on time but the work crew did not show-up to do the install. Project Manager just made up excusesThey were trying to charge $800 to remove one 4x4 which was partially cemented in. The other 4x4 post were just in the ground and they would not pull them out of the ground. Instead just cut them off and place the new post next to the old. Tried calling the company and received a representative from a remote call center in *********. My neighbor could not communicate with the guys that showed up to start the work because they spoke no English. Were in the US people.Three days later and still no fence from agreed install date. 5 starsI live in ****** and had Eregon Fence quote a fence repair for me in *********. There was a misunderstanding between us where an area was not included in the original quote. I compared Eregon quote with the others, and even though his quote was a little higher, I contracted them to do the job. On completion, a section was missed, as they inadvertently left it out of the quote. I was very upset and contacted them and explained the situation. To my surprise, the immediately resolved it by replacing the section in question. My project manager was *****.toro Project Manager Without hesitation, I will recommend them to any homeowner. Paid $5000 for a fence for one side of my property. In less than 6 months a wind gust toppled it. Called Ergeon to fix and they quoted another $1300 to fix it. I told them I wanted to wait until after Christmas to fix it and accepted the quote. They came last week to install and I told the installer I wanted to wait another week due to frigid weather in the forecast. The installer whom I trusted (what does a 73 year old widow know about fences) said that it would be ok. He cemented in a couple posts and left the other holes to dry out. He cemented in the remaining poles on Thursday and said hed hang the panels on Friday. Friday comes and the cement did not set and he stated he was coming back on Monday (today) and hang the panels. As you all know the weekend is when the bitter cold started setting in. I told him I didnt want him coming on Monday and showed him the forecast. I told him to come back the end of the week to give the concrete time to set up properly. Lo and behold they showed up this morning to hang the panels in 20 degree weather. We called Ergeon and told them that we didnt approve for them to be here today and they stated I gave them permission which was an outright lie. I basically am writing this to document my struggles should this happen again.Ergeon

3 starsGiving it 3 stars because they did what they said and the crew was great, however; I needed a lock fixed. It was too hard to close and open and it was supposedly under warranty for a year. I called them told them I would be out of town but I needed done before that. So they sent a text about 4 days later and said they will be there that afternoon. I told them I locked the gate, dont come. No one confirmed it with me. So when I got back I texted, Im back, can we reschedule? No reply . I called the ** and left a msg. Please call me and schedule. No reply. The next call I was frustrated a few days later. No reply. I called the number you call when you want to put a fence in , spoke with 2 very nice people, (***** and ***) they told me someone would get back to me. No call. No text. I called again and that person sent me to warranty. They said they would let the ** know. NO call, no text. I called Joheny ***** (proj mgr) again and left another message, NO ANSWER, no call. I called the number on this BBB and got someone to give msg to Joheny ***** again, and as of 541pm today. No answer, no call, no text. I have all the texts and emails and dates of calls. This has been since AUG 29th, It is Oct 3. I am an old lady with a very sick husband, this is unacceptable. We also have a dog so the gate has to remain closed. They show 5 stars and its great if there isnt an issue. If there is, their warranty does not exist. The sad thing is this is an easy fix. They don't have to fix it now. 2 starsHad my fence installed by this Company, My Material was delivered as was place directly on my grass, unfortunately it ruined my grass. They refuse to take accountability for there actions. My installers placed half of the remainder wood in there truck and left. if the material was left over WHY would you take it. They only communicate thru text im still waiting for a Manager to call me back. So frustrated!!!Review fromLisa R

1 starSave yourself time and money by not using this company. - My 1-2 day installation took 4 DAYS (after I had expressed to the project manager that our neighbors were concerned about the amount of time the fence installation would take and received NO RESPONSE to my email asking how long it would take to install the portion of fence along that side of the property it was only upon conversation with the installer on the day he showed up that it was communicated this side of the fence would not be completed within the 1-2 day timeframe).- The installer had to come out again the following week to add springs to the gates because it was NOT COMMUNICATED at the time of installation (by either Ergeon or the installer) that our gates were too heavy for self-closing latches.- I was originally offered only $30 and finally received half my expected discount ($~140) for using my own latches despite the fact that the difference using their online fence calculator was double what I was offered. I was told by the ** that this was not how they calculated the prices (funny - that was how the original fence was priced out for me).- Despite providing several photos of the fence DURING and IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING construction clearly showing gaps between the boards in my fence, I was told repeatedly by the ** that this was due to board shrinkage and did not mean that by fence had been built that way. I also spoke with his supervisor who assured me he understood my concerns and would look into with (with, as expected, no follow-up). Despite being allegedly focused on customer satisfaction, they are anything but. In addition to their inability to communicate in a timely manner and refusal to even believe me that I wasn't fabricating my complaints about my new fence, I expected to see a total discount on my bill from my complaints above totaling over $700 and am instead settling for $400 because I am completely at my wits end dealing with this company.
